"Sure, let's get you out of this." Red didn't seem to hear the part about being more muscled than Doc, but Red definitely had muscles from her Stable job. She helps Prosperity disrobe from her clothes and then looks for a clean bowl with water to get them washed. She finds a mostly clean bowl and... well the water is okay. Maybe drinkble?

Red gives Prosperity a wet wash cloth she found. "Here. You can wipe yourself down while I get your uniform cleaned."

"Come over here!" She dazily motioned next to her on the bed

Red sighed and squeezed the water out of Prosperity's clothes. They didn't get much cleaner, since these griffons lived like... something dirty that lives like this. Anyway, Red hung Prosperity's clothes to dry and came over to sit by her on the bed.

"What, are you too drunk to bathe yourself? Would you like me to do it?"

"Tired of being loyal?" Red said. She... started to laugh. Not loudly, so she didn't wake anyone up, but she found what Prosperity said funny?

"Prosperity, let me explain why I'm loyal to you-- it's because you're the only pony on this forsaken surface with any common sense. You think Doc knows what he's doing? He learns by running head-first into problems like a goat. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back covered in bandages. He ran off with that dumb goat girl trying to play hero because he owes that Proff guy favors for healing you. If Doc were smart, he should of figured out how to heal you himself. He wasn't thinking. You on the other hoof? You think things through. You figure things out carefully before starting something. That's why I will follow you to the ends of Equestria. You I trust. Everyone else is a fool."

Red takes the cloth and wipes Prosperity down, cleaning her. "Hopefully these griffons don't drag us into their problems. They're mercenaries, they only listen to money."

Red pulls Prosperity into a hug. She doesn't often comfort other ponies since she prefers to be the tough mare, but she makes an exception for her best-est friend right now. "Prosperity, you're not going to fail. You have a plan! At least, I think you did at the hospital. you seem to have been really excited about something there. I don't know if Doc and that goat are gonna be a thing, or what cutie marks mean, but I know that you are smart and creative. You're both. You're going to succeed." She pets Prosperity gently on the back while hugging her.

Red kisses Prosperity on top of her head. "You will never disappoint me. I'm here with you through the bad weather. Which is pretty often given the outside is butt ugly, but you know what I mean."

Red smiles. Blushes a little. She says, "I care about you... but don't you dare tell anyone I'm soft on you. It'll ruin my reputation as a bully." She winks. "Alright, let's get you to bed."

She finishes washing Prosperity down and then helps her get into bed. Red tucks her in and then puts away the things she used for the wash. Red gets into bed, and puts her gun under her pillow. "You going to be okay, Prosperity?"

She snuggle against Red.
"I am going to whine a bit, and it will be akward. Don't be scared.'

She.. more like collapse into her muzzle.
It's probably the worst almost drunk kiss in history.
Or at least the lamest.
Or was it an almost kiss at all?
But Red had slighlty snoring Prosperity in her hooves in nothing else.

Red blushed. Prosperity was drunk, so this was just the effects of the alcohol, right? Maybe?

Red tucked Prosperity in for the night and slept next to her. The snoring didn't bother Red. She had siblings in the Stable that snored. She was used to it.

The next morning Prosperity woke up to the sound of cooking potatoes, a headache, and an argument about money.

Della was cooking the potatoes. The griffons were all eating some kind of grilled meat. Or maybe it was fish? The headache was of course from last night. The argument over money was between Derringer and a blue pegasus wearing large metal armor with symbols painted on the sides.If Prosperity paid attention in history class, she'd recognize the armor as from the war.

Prosperity held her head in pain, she knew she was dieing.

She wishpered and recorded. "I... I sorry for everything. I really.. wanted.. t-to fix everything. Oh no."
Her face was green as her mane, and the poor mare rolled from bed, her stomach didn't liked it.

The smell of the meat made things worse. Even at her best, the idea of eating meat disgusted her to the core of her soul. And she was queazy from over celebrating her victory.
Did she do something stupid?
Prosperity hoped that dancing hullah wasn't the last thing she did before dieing.
What would the kids think?

She waddled there, holding her mouth with telekenesis.
"....Excuse me. Where is the nearest bucket?" She has asked politly.

Probably... quite the random thing in such argument.

Dellah apparently had experience with people drinking too much the night before. She quickly grabs a large, empty cooking put and puts it under Prosperity's mouth.

Dellah rolls her eyes. "You ain't gonna die, sweetie. Just a hangover, not cancer. Here, drink some water and sit down. When your stomach stops feeling bad, you should eat something. I made some hash browns for ya. Ponies like potatoes, right?"

Dellah points to the bed. "Your friend is still asleep. She's under the covers somewhere."

She wobbled to sit near Red, drinking water.
Did she do something silly and wierd? The thought was torturing almost as the headache.
She blushed looking at Red. For some reason.
Usually... Prosperity didn't swinged that way,but something was building with this powerful mare...
Wasn't it? Or it's just Red being dedicated to her job, and Prosperity lonely guilt ridden mind making up fantsasies?
Oh, Celestia and Luna, what if she did something more akward then trying a hullah dance, with her less then perfectly toned body?

Dellah shook her head. "I wouldn't get involved. That pegasus usually hires us to go eliminate mutants his group doesn't want to be bothered with, but they're arguing over payment to go raid the Brotherhood. That's not an easy job and we wouldn't do it for cheap."

Dellah brings a bucket so she can use the pot to cook.

"Not quite, dear. The Brotherhood they're arguing about is a group of ponies that hoard weapons and tech from the war. Like that pipbuck of yours there. If a brotherhood member saw that, they'd want it and they would break your leg to get it. The pegasi is... well he's from a group of pegasi kicked out of the Enclave years ago. Washouts or something. They also collect old weapons from the war. They and the brotherhood pretty much hate each other for years and both sides try to find mercs like us to join their side in the fight. We don't really care about their fight, but the money is nice so we charge extra to do jobs for them."

Dellah puts some hash brown potatoes on a plate and brings it to the bed. "The only thing the two groups agree on is that they both hate the Echidnian Knights. That's why we stay mercenaries. We don't want to join any sides because all three aren't good for anyone on the islands. None of them like anyone who isn't them. They only tolerate us griffons because we're worth the money to hire to do raids for stuff."

To her surprise, she actually had an apetite.
"Oh. They both.. sound.. troublesome. I also ran into the Echidnian Knights... but I am sure that good critters can be found anywhere if we will take a risk and chance."
She stopped talking to eat.
"...You griffins actually quite nice. I think. Or you simply don't act needlessly cruel?"

"It's probably the second one more, if you're talking about most of these other griffons. They usually don't care for ponies, but since you saved Derringer's life and put on an interesting show last night, they seem to like you a little," Dellah said. She watched as more joined the argument over money and what to do about the Brotherhood.

Red finally woke up. "Mmph, I smell food. *yawn* Oh, morning Prosperity. I overslept? Dang, I never oversleep. Sorry about that."

Dellah continued. "Good morning little one. I made you both some hash browns. We don't have much food to offer."

"A show? What kind of show?!" In slight horror.
"I wasn't trying to dance hullan was I??"

Red snorted, but tried to hide her blush. She sat up to eat.

Dellah thought about last night. "Uh... you were dancing with your friend. I didn't pay attention to how you were dancing though. I got to have a moment with Derringer which was... nice. I don't think it was anything bad?"

Red added, "Nothing bad happened. Just some dancing, some drinking, and then everyone went to bed. No hullan."

she pause and think about cultural aproration.

Dellah shakes her head. "Nah, you don't have to pay for anything. We got enough to get by and treat a couple good ponies."


The pegasus stomps over to Prosperity. "You there! Green-maned unicorn. What is your name?"

Derringer tugged on his tail to pull him back, but the armor was heavy. "Hey, we're not done negotiating!"

The pegasus spat on the floor. "Bah, you griffons only think with your muscles. You're sloppy. I need someone with brains. Tell me, mare, what side are you on?"

"On the wrong side of bed.' Prosperity said with her dry humor which she kept for workers who she viewed as slacking off.

"'I am NOT intrested in your petty squables. I don't know who are you, nor care to know. All I see a barbaric goat who wear a pony face. And I dont practiculary fan of the Echidnian Knight. Take your childish squables to somepony who care"
Prospeirty like to think about herself as a nice pony,but she won't have such attitude.
