Prosperity could hear the sound of stomping hooves to the door. It unlocked and then opened. Standing there was a gray/blue goat mare. She looked angry.

"What does my dad want now?" she asked. "Haven't I been punished enough?"

"Wha..? But I did everything he... it was the stupid st... grrr. Fine, whatever. I don't know why I'm even here anymore." The goat stomped out of the room and went down the hall, turning a direction somewhere deeper in the compound. Prosperity has this feeling that, she was almost... crying? Sad?


The inside of the room was mostly metal, like a Stable, but the bed was made of stray and old, stained sheets. It was big and had a nightstand next to it with an old lamp and a book. There was a table with a collection of knives on top and a jar of teeth. A closet had only a few outfits, that looked more like armor than clothes, but put together from scraps and junk. It was decent as if whoever made them really tried hard to make the armor work.

A pile of old couch cushions was in the corner. On the pile lay Doc, wrapped up in many blood-stained bandages to cover a wound. His face was swollen; he looked like he was beaten up badly. His mane was combed with a bow on top. The brush lay on the cushion next to him. He didn't appear to be awake, but he was breathing. He didn't look well at all.

Prosperity didn't cared much for the pony murderer.
"DOC!' she gasped and trotted at his side, with horror, checking him.

Red closed the room's door quietly and listened in case anyone was coming. Somehow, she managed to smuggle her gun inside.


Prosperity could tell Doc had been stabbed twice and punched repeatedly. He might have been tortured? He didn't have any broken legs at least. Prosperity could also smell drugs on him. She remembered that back home, certain drugs had unique smells. The goats might have given him pain pills, but that would mean he'd be asleep for hours. If Prosperity and Red wanted to get him out, they might have to carry him, or find healing medicine that could wake him up.

Doc wasn't waking up. However, Prosperity thinks she saw a medical room on the way here. It was back down stairs, but that means walking past two eyeballs. Does she take Vardo with her there or sneak out and back? She has about 7 minutes left of her disguise.

Red comes over and helps carry Doc. As a guard in the Stable, Red has some strength. "Looks like these goats used him as a punching bag," she whispered back. "Alright, where we going. Out the front door?"

Red nods, "I thought they were destroyed too."

The eyes follow Prosperity and Red. They seem... Like they don't trust her. But they don't make any noises.


The two make it to the clinic without a problem. It looks Like a garbage dump compared to the clinic back home. There is a computer that appears to be... organic? It has wires sticking out like veins and it appears bruised like someone hit it several times.

There was a table with several doctor tools and items. Next to that there was a bad. Some leather armor, ragged clothes, and a half chewed tin can.

A cabinet on the left looked promising. It had some medicines and ointments. Prosperity recognized some of the medicines from Vardo job, one was a needle with healing medicine

(Ooc: you find one suit of leather armor, two daggers, and a stimpack. Works like a healing potion when you inject it).

Prosperity, practical even at such dire times, loot it all, offering the armor.first to red, and then using her telekenesis to inject the stimpack to Vardo.
"Come on..' she wishpered.
She tried not to think about the wierd saruondings.

Red says no to the armor. "It's okay, my Stable suit has some protection."

The swelling and bruises on Doc's face fade a little. After a minute he slowly opens his eyes. He looks up at Prosperity. "Did... did I sleep through breakfast?" he asked, sounding weak, but very much alive.

Prosperity gasp, (still in goat form?) "You wonderful idiotic oaf! I was so concerned!" And hug him tightly, almost choking him back to uncouncouness.

Doc tries to pull himself away. "I... who are you?" He seems a bit scared of being hugged, but there's something familiar in her voice that makes Doc stop struggling. "Do I know you?"

"Wha...?" Doc looks closely at them, trying to understand. He seems a little confused, but he also seems like he believes Prosperity because it is her voice.


The door to the clinic opens and two goat guards step in. "Beeeh! What is going on in here? Why did you move the prisoner?"

"Of course he was roughed up! Beeeh, he tried to escape earlier," the older goat shouted. "Why are you helping him?"

The older goat guard moved toward Prosperity. The younger one reached for the metal bell around his neck. He was going to do something with it.

The eyes of the younger goat roll and he falls to the ground, passed out with a gentle snore. The older goat gasps at this treachery! "I will decorate my altar with your bones!"

The old goat reaches into his armor and pulls out a shortsword. He swings at Prosperity!

Red pulls out her gun and takes a shot at the goat. "I don't have many bullets, Prosp!"

Vardo crawls off the bed and moves to grab one of the two daggers Prosperity found.


What will Prosperity do?

The old goat resisted Prosperity's insults. "You think some puns are going to help you?"

Red was more dangerous, however, so he turned and attacked her ((1d20+3)[4] damage (1d6+1)[7]) But he missed!

Red fired back a second shot and hit! Then Doc lunged at the old goat and stabbed him.
(Red does (1d8+1)[6] and Doc (1d4-1)[0], minimum 1).


The old goat was now hurting. He looked toward the exit and was thinking maybe he should retreat.

"Well, it did distract you.' She forced a smile.
Prosperity never took a life before.
But she was out of power, beside few puns..

Prosperity sighed channeling pure magical energy in her horns sending a blast at the old goat.

The goat stumbled and then fell over. "bEhhHhh..." he weakly said before passing out from pain. He wasn't dead, but he is not a threat to Prosperity or her friends.

Red took the shortsword off the old goat and offered it to Prosperity. "Here, this will make you more threatening than bad puns."

Doc undid the collar and picked up the goat's bell. "This is what the goats use to cast spells and communicate. It's like a... magical Pipbuck? I don't know how it works, but we should take them so they can't call for help." Doc takes the other bell too. He then looks at Prosperity and Red.

"You don't look charming as a goat," he said.


Red snorted. "Behh. We should escape now I think."

Doc looked sad. "I don't remember the way out. I got caught before I got through."

"Sorry. For our next stallion in disress date, I'll be a dragon.' Prosperity said a bit sassingly. She took the sword.
Usually harsh words with insults made ponies cower in pain...
"I hope me and Red remember. We had "friend.' But.. he is probably back to normal by now.'

Red shrugs. "Maybe, but hopefully we'll beat him to the exit. I think between the two of us we can figure out where the exit is."

Nobility remembers the way back out, with a little help from Red. Their disguises will only last another minute, so if they want to get out before then, they will have to move fast. Another option is to use stealth to sneak by the eyes and get outside before they're spotted.
