I am interested in seeing the implementation of representation that should start this issue. Will it be Szark II?

The image is clearly foreshadowing Danica awakening another Star Power ability: bullet time. She has actually performed several movements in the space of hundredth of a second.

She can already travel around the galaxy at greater than light speed, being able to boost her regular movements wouldnt be a stretch.

    Part two has come.

So now Burke needs his own Burke. But doesn't look like he will get one.

Considering it's his third coincidental encounter with slaves and slavers? I can understand him.
I imagine him as Indiana Jones: " Slaves, why did it has to be slaves?"

Also, I'm still not sure, is it a coincidence that the people in the flashback look similar to the current group of people?

That's either an attempt to visually parallel the two scenes, or Garth just doesn't care enough to create visually distinct extras. Either way, I doubt it has any real plot relevance.

The immortal slave market is surprisingly robust. They just keep getting sold and resold from owner to owner as time goes on. Minimal care required and they will last till the end of whatever project you needed slave labor for then can be resold for your original cost at least!

I think that is less about the father than establishing character of the son and the inner workings of the clan.

I'm more focused on the fact that it just doesn't make any sense. If this one planet already has four other organizations that have been in this business for ages, what makes these guys think it's a good idea to get involved? It's like taking a look at Microsoft and Apple and deciding to open up a business making computers. Even if you don't just immediately fail, you'll still never be good enough to compete. A black market is true anarcho-capitalism, which does not abide competition. The only way to succeed is to diversify and find your niche. Trying to overcome the monopolistic mountain is just not going to go well for you.

They just confirmed the weirdest part about taking Burke as a slave:
He was beaten up by the watchers in a remote ally, then released, only to be taken later from a bar while being surrounded by witnesses.
It's now confirmed that he was not discovered as someone cooperating with the cops, or even as someone no one will miss.
The only reason he was taken is because we was beating up a woman non of them knew or had any reason to care about.

Or maybe that's his thing? Taking only bad people as slaves?
I doubt it given the "I am evil" conversation, but I can imagine his conversation with Danica later:
"You want to release the slaves?
This one murdered 3 people, that one over there sold drugs to kids, and this one beat a woman because she didn't listen to him.
So you see, we are not so different Star-Power, you catch bad people and punch them, and we just have a different punishment system"

I'd have to check the wording again, but it could be that Burke was beaten up by different gangsters and then picked up by these. This may not be a problem.

Even if they belong to a different group, they must have seen the moment with the fake beating and later the scene where Burke was attacked by the watchers, decide that that makes him a legitimate slave, and wait for him to be in the bar for the actual kidnapping.

    Update

    I'm a bit confused.
In the previous page related to the detective, I thought Grex gave him a vague answer regarding Danica to hide the fact she is the Star Power (an action that would make sense in this context).
Did Danica simply not get the hint? Because the detective doesn't seem to be surprised by discovering she is a celebrity super-hero.

Why does she think that being an astronomer will in any way help her find a tracker? I mean, I'm sure Mitch will be the one actually doing it, but it's still a dumb thing to say.

The site's security certificate expired. It should be renewed soon, in the meantime you'll get alerts because you're accessing an HTTPS site where the S isn't actually there.

I think they try to establish a cartel. If all 5 instead of only 4 of the syndicates work together they control the market and have every resource available, without fear of competition. But I don't get why the other syndicates want that. It's like Microsoft joining an Apple/Samsung/Huawei alliance to control the cell phone market. It's good for Microsoft, but why would the others want that?

As astronomer she is qualified for that. The tracker signal is weak and it's hidden in a lot of noise. As astronomer she does solve such issues to gain data from her instruments. And as Star Power Sentinel she is built to find targets. It's just that those two skills sets don't overlap. As astronomer she has her software and data analyse tools, and as Sentinel she has the AI Mitch.

    Update

    So far so good.

We know Danica is capable of using force and pretty much treat all the gangs like bowling pins (we can even guess it will happen soon based on the cover)
So the idea of limiting her powers for legal reasons is pretty much the best thing that can be done under the circumstances to generate tension.

I just hope it will last more than a few pages, or that there will be consequences if Danica decides to go all in despite the warnings.

Absolutely. Still, I am pleasantly surprised by the detective's monologue there. That's actually some good writing. Not decent, good. It almost gives me hope. Or at least, it would have given me hope if I hadn't immediately read Dominic Deegan after.

BTW, they are in the middle of the street, while the shops nearby have people, shouting about being sneaky while showing a huge 3D model of the city right there on the ground.

Still, I'm willing to chunk all of this as minor nitpick if whatever happened here pays off.
