    [Diplomacy] Provide Guardian with Sisterhood Warning Zones - The act of the Caller AI designated Guardian to maturate the great many species of Axiom has many within the Sisterhood ill at ease. The long vigil they have held around the galactic Core has been easily enforced in a galaxy lacking the advanced travel mechanics now gifted to the many space faring species of Axiom but with such advancements in the hands of so many the Sisterhood would now face an exponential increase in interest regarding the Core. Others within the covenant believe this action by Guardian offers an unprecedented opportunity to spread knowledge of the One among the stars. Sister Gertwin of the Monastery Emergent Twilight, something of a middle way supporter between the two most popular views, is assigned the unenviable task of making first contact with these newly elevated species that the Sisterhood’s warning may be passed on early to avoid the unintended consequences of curiosity.

    [Diplomacy] Warn the Grymlans specifically about the Core - High Coordinator Jeejee Scrapseeker, leader of sector P14, is contacted personally by the upper echelons of the nearby Sisterhood outpost to make clear in no uncertain terms how poor of an idea it would be to dismiss Sisterhood warnings about breaching the protected Core systems. The Grymlans appear to be an extremely curious race, an admirable quality in a galaxy so filled with wonders to be uncovered, but they are warned breaching the Sisterhood’s vigil would be “a decidedly bad idea.” Instead the Grymlans are encouraged to explore the system around the Sisterhood’s nearby base as well as southward that they might link a Monastery long out of contact with the wider galaxy to galactic affairs. If the Grymlans abide by the Sisterhood’s request linking the nearby base with this shrouded Monastery rather than breach the Core they shall be recognized as burgeoning allies to the SoS. If they choose to ignore this request and pursue exploration of the Core they are liable to earn the enmity of the Sisterhood. (Request: OwO explore two SoS Base regions and not explore the Core during this time. Reward: +1 Reputation with SoS, +1 Favor. Expiration Date: Round 5)

    [Faith] Discuss cooperation on spreading the One with the Droccen - Empress Candrimay is contacted by leaders from the nearby Sisterhood Monastery who express their desire to cooperate with fellow adherents of the One on protecting the Core and spreading the universal love promoted by their shared beliefs across the wider galaxy. The Droccen are requested to make contact with and sway nearby Celestia Enterprises to adopt the One as their mainline philosophy to be promoted by the megacorporation’s unrivalled communications networks. Should the Droccen prove successful in aligning another nearby influential Stellar Power to promote the values of Oneness they will be recognized as unparalleled friends to the Sisterhood.     [Diplomacy] Assist Guardian in Maturating Axiom’s spacefaring civilizations - Ever since the end of the Callers supremacy across Axiom the so-called Cosmic Couriers have lacked in purpose and traffic to keep their Relay network connecting the galaxy operational. Even near the end of the Callers time in Axiom the Couriers had been relegated to a minimal grunt work within their vast interstellar empire transporting raw material resources deemed too low priority to warrant more advanced Caller transportation technology. Now with Caller AI Guardian optioning for Maturation the Couriers once more had purpose. The spacefarers of Axiom were yet on the cusp of true stellar civilization and the Courier Relays offered FTL travel unparalleled by any possessed by the known species. This advantage granted the Couriers a new role, one of restored importance and prestige within galactic affairs. The Callers had created the Couriers to serve them and Guardian represented the final will of the Callers within Axiom so it was Guardian’s request that the Couriers aid these newly elevated species that would guide the Couriers’ actions from here forward. True, these child races could never truly reach the heights of Caller civilization but the Couriers could perhaps lead some of them to a brighter future than their simple societies and technologies promised them currently.

    [Diplomacy] Inform the Ninurtine Empire of a suspected nearby Relay - Emperor Cherahiteth II’s government receives an envoy from the Cosmic Couriers who seeks an audience so that the imperial government may be made aware of a suspected Relay somewhere nearby their capital sector. While the recently reactivated Relay system was still experiencing a few small glitches and bugs after its long dormancy transmissions from around the Malak system indicated a currently low functioning Relay somewhere to the capital’s galactic west. The Emperor is petitioned to send an expeditionary fleet to seek out this Relay and bring it under imperial dominion that it might be better protected from whatever fate led to its current state of dormancy. (Request: NUT explore T22 or T24 until the missing Relay is discovered and bring the region under Ninurtine control. Reward: +1 Reputation with CmC, +1 Favor. Expiration Date: Round 5)

    [Diplomacy] Offer Courier exploratory services to the Guild Empire of Nyx and/or the Gelean Republic - Nyx’s Lord of Coin as well as Gelean’s seniormost Admiral receive offers for mutually beneficial business from the nearby Courier Relay just outside their systems’ control. The Couriers offer the mercantile Nyx and curious Geleans their services as explorers and diplomats willing to tread the unknown space between the two Stellar Powers for a small fee. Certainly it would be at least somewhat beneficial to accept the Courier’s offer but would the Guilds or the Republic be willing to accept the burden of a favor owed? (Request: Allow the CmC to Inquest K7 on behalf of GEN and/or GLR. Reward: +1 to Establish Claim on K7 the following round, +1 Favor owed to CmC. Expiration Date: Round 2)

    An’Null’s Eradicators

    [Military] Recruit 1 Unit of Eradicators - At the southern edge of Jackstar Free Union held territory an unexpected and unpleasant discovery is made by the local privateer force under Captain Silk Noose Caihe. It appears a prison barge transporting Bronze Clients to an outer Jack Star mining station was forced to divert from their projected flight path and attacked deep in the black. The barge appears to have been boarded by hostile forces and left adrift bereft their Bronze Client cargo. Markings of black skulls left on the gutted transport seem to match known markings of An’Null cultists though where exactly they came from or where they escaped to remains a mystery. A number of Jack Star station commanders near this border petition the Grand Admiral to send a hunter fleet southwards to seek out these terrorists.

    [Military] Recruit 1 Unit of Eradicators - A sizable contingent of Meritocracy Androids are purchased by an enterprising soul seeking to use the droids to mine local asteroids for valuable mineral deposits. However once the androids leave Bespéartha’s atmosphere via the Meritocracy’s space elevator the ship transporting them to the system’s asteroid belt suddenly vanishes from tracking computers. A reconnaissance ship is sent to investigate the ship’s last known location and find adrift in space a great collection of debris that appears to have been the transport, although no signs of android bodies can be found. Markings on some of the debris matches known Eradicator symbology and it is determined the notorious space pirates must have stolen the android cargo for their own nefarious ends. Given the precision of the hit the original entrepreneur is investigated for suspicion of aiding the space pirates and it is discovered the man did in fact receive directives and a large sum of counterfeit money to make the purchase though he insists he had no knowledge of his benefactor’s position within the Eradicators nor his payment’s counterfeit composition. Nevertheless the man is arrested on charges of conspiracy and intent to commit fraud while at higher echelons powerful individuals debate the need to seek out what can only be a local An’Null base for extermination or at the very least warning to stay out of Meritocracy space.

    Quiet, loyal, and sees the rest of the powers as children. Gave out precious little information besides what not to do. NEUTRAL

    Rothuun:
    Agressive, domineering, and reckless. Challenged many others to bouts, and did view Radaince as a possible ally. However drew a knife against another power which a Caller A.I had said not to do. FRIENDLY/ANTAGONISTIC

    Ninurtine:

    Calm, curious and collected. Had large delegation and interacted both publically and privately. Are actually projecting holograms over themselves. Engineer was greatly interested in Radiance. Contact with Leader was not made. FRIENDLY/NEUTRAL

    Syndrome: Prideful, curious and imperious. Kept an air of power, and was incredibly intersted in other biologicals. Was cold and wary of other lifeforms, such as the Duenem and Tezh. NEUTRAL/CAUTION

    Tezh: Aloof, curious and magnaminous. Had incredibly friendly interaction with Radiance, and much information was shared. Aside from adherence to the One, was very similar in outlook to the Duenem. Had another race which they sought to 'uplift' named the Stozudal. FRIENDLY

    Federated Churches: Contact not yet made. Gave lots of greatly interested looks.

    • With the return of Telescopic Radiance, Duenem all over the region continiously analyze the information. It is agreed that Radiance will be resigned, then reinstated immediatly as taskmaster to oversee the new era as effecitvely as possible.
    • A major question remains how long has the One been circulated by the Niuan, especially so far from the Sisterhood. Library bots rummage and search for anything that could be considered useful, as it might provide some information on the Callers.
    • Guardain provides much debate. While it is certainly an incredibly advanced A.I, it is also very set in its programming, and seems incapable of acting outside of its directives. The Duenem might be far less advanced technologically, but have always had a degree of individuality. Either this means Guardian has a lot more going on behind it, or the Studant who created the first Duen managed to outdesign the Callers.

    Daregense flicked for the hundredth time through the catalogue of holographic options they had spent the last few days devising. The problem was that none of them had any idea which would be appropriate. All of this was entirely new.

    “I'm going to the bridge”, she said eventually, and left Tolem to it.

    The captain greeted her with a salute and “Your Highness”. The address still felt strange, not yet worn in properly. It was one of the reasons the captain used it so frequently. By the time they arrive,d it was all supposed to feel and appear natural.

    “Captain Sharugin,” she replied, with a salute of her own. She wanted to ask about progress, if only for the sake of conversation and to still her own nerves, but she bit her tongue. Anything like that could be seen as questioning the captain's competence, which she did not. And she was also aware that trust between the members of this crew was essential, not only for the success of the mission, but for their very survival.

    The mission had been the subject of meeting after meeting, with every possibility thrashed out, queried and looked at from multiple angles. By the time that she was selected for the mission and called in to attend, most of the details had already been figured out and the process was still interminable.

    The Empire had been faced with an entirely new problem. Throughout the whole history of the Malak system, despite the centuries of visual deception, there was nevertheless a common core to their understanding which informed their whole culture, and as false as their presentation might be, there was nevertheless a limit to that, because underneath they were all at least still the same species.

    Out there, in the wider galaxy, though, the most basic assumptions might itself be fatal giveaways.

    This was the reason for the days spent in front of the holographic designer. She, Tolem, the Nisuite linguist, Halish, the biologist, just trying to figure out what they should choose to look like.

    And if this whole mission turned out to be a trap, and one of them was taken captive, that was held by many to be an unacceptable risk.

    The engagers had won out. The known risk of not taking this opportunity far outweighed the theoretical risk of one of the crew being captured. Nevertheless, there were failsafes upon failsafes. Every function that could safely be delegated to AI had been, hence the skeleton crew. The ship had been fitted with comprehensive self-destruct sequences in case it became necessary. As had the crew.

    She was still not entirely used to, and suspected she would never be comfortable with, the implant with which they had fitted her. In the event of capture, it would release a fast-acting necrotoxin designed to destroy as much of her tissue as possible before anything of value could be learned from it. All the delegation had one. And all the crew had the ability to activate any of the others', remotely.

    So, trust.

    Even the implants, even the constant surrounding threat of death, though, were not enough to detract from the sense of sheer exhilaration that had come over her in the period before departure and had stayed with her ever since. From the moment the Emperor had called her forward to bestow upon her her new name, it had never left.

    All the crew had it to an extent, though they had different ways of dealing with it. Halish could often barely control herself, visibly bouncing up and down as she considered the marvels about to be discovered. Himpahach, the engineer, had developed an increasingly irritating habit of singing to himself. The military personnel were more controlled, but it was still visible Dashunul, the military attaché, obsessively ran weapons tests, or cleaned and reassembled her personal equipment. Daregense didn't like to remind her that this was a diplomatic mission and all being well, weapons would be redundant. Tolem jabbered. Medenon, the pilot, tapped his foot, fingers, or anything else he could lay hands on. And the captain, he couldn't sleep.

    Some of them had taken things even further. A few days into the voyage, she had walked into Tolem's quarters to tell him and Halish that she didn't care whether they were sleeping together, but she did care that they had kept it secret. The mission came first, and paramount trust was essential. So long as they all understood that, the crew could do what they liked.

    All the station crew had been evacuated by the time the Penetrator docked. Captain Sharugin and Medenon made for the command deck while the contact party assembled near the gate. Dashunul ran yet another weapons check while Tolem launched the probe.

    “What are we?” Halish asked, as the results came in.

    “Bipedal, humanoid, mammalian.” Halish looked almost disappointed. On some level, it seemed she had actaully been relishing the prospect of presenting herself as some abstract tentacle monster.

    “I'm going first,” Dashunul said. “No arguments, your Highness.” There were none.

    • A call has been put out for volunteers for the colonisation of Twr. The Imperial Government seeks 500 men and 500 women of breeding age to start a seed population, with further positions available to those with certain valuable skillsets.
    • Following the Simulacrum, the Empire's first FTL-capable warship, the HIMS Santino, is launched. Sister ships Frederico and Hagen are in production.
    • Following the message from the Cosmic Couriers, an exploration mission headed by the HMIS Anson and including a number of Tailwind-class support ships has been sent to the sector of space to the galactic south-west to explore new territories.
    • A second mission, comprising four Intrepid-class vessels, has been sent to the west

    • Ancient machinery hums to life as the Mother interprets the message and guides the Kombuch in producing the first ships to emerge from the ancient factories in millennia. The ancient designs almost seemed a natural fit for the mysterious engines.
    • Two squadrons of ancient 'SPRITE' class ships were built and quickly occupied by eager colonies.
    • A fleet of 'FANTA' class diplomacy ships was also built and quickly tasked with meeting the neighbours.

      Though there was no scarcity of corruption in the Meritocracy, no doubt due to its numerous prohibitions on things that were previously considered normal, it was all behind-the-scenes play. The public failure of a state-assigned mission due to a merchant consorting with pirates was previously unheard of. A ship newly equipped with GLD is sent to follow the pirates' signatures, but it disappears without a trace...
    2. [Diplomacy]Inquest D12 (2d6+3) 12
      The law is clear: the universe is the common heritage of humanity. Well, the law may need to be updated to account for the many species of aliens, but for now, it is used as a political justification for pouring staggering amounts of money into GLD drives and subsequent expeditions into nearby solar sytems.

      This expedition was sabotaged by counterrevolutionaries. As it should be, the Marshal himself personally discovered their nest and delivered justice to them in the form of forced duels to the death.

      Attempts to approach the Core fail, for now. Not that the Meritocracy wants to ignore the Sisterhood's warnings; it just wants to be closer to other Stellar Powers.

    The events taking place in the Simulacrum are mostly unknown to the population of Taurina I. It is commonly known that Urthuun Thrikar Fleshgorger met with some great shame in the conference, and shot himself shortly after being expelled from it. Other news is minor, mostly concerned with a few alien species encountered in the Simulacrum.

    After Thrikar’s death, a political and physical war erupted throughout the system. Although far smaller than many previous wars, this one proves to have great impact on the future of the Rothuun. The first to claim the title of Urthuun was Aneb Twin-Gun, a son and chief general of Thrikar Fleshgorger. He immediately crushed old enemy Posekh Flatfoot, killing and devouring the Thurtuun leader. He then rallied a massive army to secure complete control, only to find himself outgunned and outmatched by Kzarna Harpooner. His army crushed, Aneb was driven in disgrace to Thurtuun, where he waits and schemes now.

    Urthuun Kzarna’s political beliefs are very different from those of her predecessor. While Thrikar believed only in military strength and abhorred alliance, Kzarna is a proponent of economic power and plans to make as many allies as possible to reverse the damage Thrikar has done. She is also ambivalent on core exploration: although she does want to control the core, she seems content to wait until nearby territory has been exhausted.

    Spoiler: Opinions toward Alien Races

    Conclave of the Black Sun: The Conclave is widely considered to be responsible for the previous Urthuun’s death, and to be derogatory and insulting toward Rothuun customs. They are universally reviled, and Rothuun soldiers are now training on dummies designed to look like Tal- Amaryn. Unfortunately, a lack of information about what Tal-Amaryn actually look like has resulted in most of these dummies simply having the word “Conclavaat” painted over their faces.

    Melfynians: Fewer people are aware of the exact role player by the Melfynians in the Simulacrum. Most believe that, due to Thrikar’s terror in discussing them, that they must be horrible monsters or unimaginably powerful beings of the Beyond. Mothers now scare their children with tales of “If you misbehave, the Melfynians will get you!”

    Lyraens: Among the few alien species whom Thrikar passed a positive impression of to the Rothuun were the Lyraens. They are regarded as good warriors and as good, fair people who have not sided with the evil Sisterhood or the Conclave. There are also rumors that their leader, General Tra Gutri, was able to defeat or match Thrikar in a wrestling contest. Although these ridiculous conspiracy theories are derided by most, they reflect the respect that the Rothuun have for their canine neighbors.

    Grymlans: The squirrelesque neighbors of the Rothuun are regarded with curiosity and suspicion. Accounts of their cheerfulness and odd way of talking only exacerbate these suspicions, as do their claims to lacking expansionist ambitions. It is the opinion of many of the Minotaurs that the Grymlans must have something to hide.

    Hearthlings: Thrikar’s encounters with the Hearthlings were of a positive nature, and this first impression is carried over into the main Rothuun population. The Thurtuun are particularly interested in the Order of Shadow and Flame, and many have converted, while Rothuun leaders are pleased with the Hearthlings’ plans to expand to the Core.

Their towers in the sky have long been protected by Dosirix and they have been placed into torpor many times fighting enemies of the Kamasati. Known for their heroism fighting the Rassa Dosirix has been forced to sleep many years but has awoken once more to fight enemies of the gods. While they have considered going on the final heroes journey they remain closely tied to home and doing more for their people. Peace may one day come but for now they fight to spread the word of the dreamers. Prator Dosirix is not some magnificent telekentic and rarely moves the world around them, instead their abilities exist all in the mind. Directly attacking the thoughts of the crew, they can drive dream children and demons alike mad. Focusing on a single individual they can even turn off their mind completely placing them into oblivion. It requires vast concentration however and so the Midian shell was built to protect them so they can focus on their vast mental abilities.

    Mount Vispim- We watch the Dream children of Moigan from on high. The first large villages are starting to appear across the surface of the planet. We count 102 locations with more than 500 residents. We are proud of our children and we keep our whispers to a minimal for now as they are incapable of understanding yet.

    Mount Kdoim- We weep for the Xawaq. They have experianced many wars in the past but this is the largest and we hear them dying in our minds. It is painful to know that they are too young and misinterpret the will of our words. When we speak to them in their minds it makes them believe they are even more righteous and that they must be right. Currently 3 nations are embroiled in constant conflict... We know we must not interfere but it hurts us so to hear their minds scream. They did nothing with the whispers coming from our dreamers. Such is the way. We will continue to watch.

But with the introduction to a much larger galaxy and the other races that inhabit it, there is a sensible need for a protective force; and new opportunities for fields of scientific exploration. Darkship Fleet Shinystar is retrofitted with the new GLD systems allowing for FTL travel. The fleet consists of one massive Crafthome-class carrier armed with heavy energy casters and capable of fielding multiple wings of Zippyzap fighter craft. It is escorted by two smaller Rockblaster-class corvettes armed with energy casters and extended range point defense weaponry.
    2. [Diplomacy] Improve Relations with SoS [7] - Grymlans attempt to improve relations with the neighbors to their north. Perhaps its their exhuberant energy, or maybe it was the questions, but it seems that even the fabled patience of the Sisterhood has its limits and the envoys were sent home having accomplished nothing.
    3. [Diplomacy] Contact CmC about establishing a Relay in Cloudysea (CmC Base 1/3)

[Philosophy] Probe Uranus P12 [13] - With the new Gravity Latch Drive Tech Grymlans along with OwO manage to design a form of the drive that can function for extremely small vessels, namely probes. In an effort to stress test their device by shooting it at the Sisters of Silence base located to their galactic north. To everybody's surprise, and possibly the relief of the sisters, the device works perfectly, relaying information to the Grymlans in Cloudysea.

[Philosophy] Probe P16 [12] - Seeking to improve on their probe design, Grymlans moved several sensors to the ends of prehensile mechanical tentacles allowing for simultaneous directed scanning as the probe flies, as well as increasing the suite of sensors for, hopefully, a more detailed result from the region to their south.

    • Disaster strikes in Olympia as a dimensional tear in space near Zier opens up spewing out an alien ship traveling at incredible velocities, which immediately collides into a communications satellite resulting in a rather spectacular explosion. Most of the debris burns up in the atmosphere of the planet but emblazoned on a some exterior panels and the suits of some Grymlan corpses discovered bear the name Inspiration 7 in the Grymlan language. When confronted about this incident, Jeejee Scrapseeker denied any involvement in the sudden appearance of the ship, and the Grymlans on board, though she did comment that Inspiration was a cool name for a ship.
    • Always tinkering, the Grymlans of the Cloudysea region have started to tinker with the GLD technology. Their first ship, Inspiration 1, is short lived as it shears itself in half due to the stresses from activating the modified GLD.
    • Riots break out among Grymlans as news of the other races of the Galaxy arrives from the glowing doorway and it raises questions over who they want to visit first. Civilian ship production adapts the new GLD technology so that Grymlans might visit these beings, but progress is slow as fuel production in Cloudysea cannot meet this new demand as rationing and prioritization of Government ships are put into place.
    • With the opening of the door, some Grymlans have speculated that the Simulacrum might be colonizable and that the nature of the realm might lend itself well to scientific endeavors. To date though only small teams of Grymlans have been sent in to do further studies.
    • The introduction of the other alien races prompts a flurry of new films and digital books by the Grymlans with titles such as, "The Celestia Connection," "The Goodgood, the Badbad, and the Rothuun" "The Lustysex Lyraen Cleansweep" and "Three Hearthlings and a Grymlan."

While it was known from their history with the Catarin that intelligent lifeforms took issue with Symbraum evolution the Divisions could not very well allow their species to die out over the petty concerns of paranoid xenos, many of whom had failed to achieve in thousands of years what the Symbraum had achieved in a handful of centuries. Regardless of their view towards lesser alien lifeforms however the Symbraum were not completely without respect for intelligent life, it was after all the Visitors who accelerated Symbraum evolution to the age of space exploration, and so it was determined the wisest course of action with regards to encountering new species was to treat them with respect until their full capabilities could be understood by Symbraum analysts and appropriately acted upon.

    5 [DIPLOMACY 5] Establish CI: Parasitic Puppeteers (2d8 when Pressing Claims)

    As diplomats prepare to make first contact with neighboring possibly inhabited sectors they receive important “sensitivity training” from FRD and BD regarding appropriate topics of discussion and etiquette. Mentioning of the Symbraum’s true parasitic nature is verboten and speaking of the unique “symbiotic” culture of UPT was to be limited until firm positive relationships had been established. In addition to the training received by diplomats a formal outline for espionage and infiltration of outsider species, largely derived from lessons learned during the Silent Invasion of Jahew, is codified and drilled into the minds of Symbraum who seek to serve their government in the capacity of infiltrators of alien cultures. Focus is placed on manipulating important and powerful functionaries with attempts to replace directly recognized leaders to be delayed until proper support networks had been established. No doubt to foreign stellar powers knowledge of the Symbraum’s methodical means of infiltration would be further cause for alarm but to the UPT it was simply good practice to be as effective as possible in performing “peaceful” transfers of power intended to preserve and grow their species.

    Ndoda scientists are tripping over their tails in excitement, working on improving Nemikhomo design and structural integrity while chattering and clicking about the Guardian and the possibilities inherent in other occupied planets in the galaxy. The priests are more sullen, trying to reconcile their faith with the truth that the Ndoda are not alone. Older priests scoff at the dismay of the younger apologists, scolding them that their faith never told them that they were unique in the first place. All that matters is the flow of life and light. These older priests have hope that this Guardian might share similar ideals and that alliances with other species can be built on the sanctity of life and light. Umkhonto Ukiphosa is quieter than expected, as is the Council. Perhaps they too are trying to decide what to do, and how it happened that it was this Umkhonto, this Council's reign which made contact with other species. Perhaps.

    The second expedition, a more carefully planned trip, is undertaken by the Guild of Assayers. Their vessel, the Viridian Sunset, is custom built, though small, and is under the command of Pretalla Juran, a retired naval officer.

    They are followed almost immediately by Professor Kiznat aboard a small, one person ship he called the Sun Drop. The College immediately regrets putting him in charge of the mission.

    5: [Diplomacy] Inquest to Region H10. Success
    The Most Esteemed College of Astrometry waits until well after the other organisations have set out. They dig up a derelict scientific vessel, the Boundless Horizon, from its hangar on Soldaria. After much work clearing dust and bringing it back online to an acceptable thirty-two percent functionality they attach a GLD and head out almost a year after everyone else.

The stiletto shaped, 650 meter long vessel presents a narrow attack profile, relying on its gently sloping hull to deflect the brunt of oncoming, conventional inertia-based weapons. Point defense weapons and countermeasures dot the ventral and dorsal hulls. Coronal trenches provide recessed cover for the cruiser's 20 primary weapons, quadruple turrets that fire 1-tonne armor-piercing shells. While able to pivot quickly due to the low mass of the bow, the cruiser lacks overall maneuverability and requires minutes to make lateral adjustments. A wing of 108 aerospace superiority fighters is tasked with defending the Harbinger from anything too fast to obliterate with its big guns, as well as continuing the fight in a more intimate, planet-side setting. A small fleet of personnel shuttles and tender ships also live within the yawning ventral hangars.

The technocratic Caliphate has turned to the machine for answers and is currently working on creating a ship that can essentially fly itself and avoid risking the lives of Kryptids to murder other Kryptids. While this remains imperfect a fleet of ships along with several small hive like drone ships are put together to help fight the enemy.

    Mier Formica had many contact to most of its neighbours at the event hosted by Guardian not to long ago. They knew two things were paramount one we needed to explore the regions around us so that we could connect with them and two we needed to raise a military force so they could work together and fight against outside threats.

    “Ool Vulk has received an official reprimand from the Ascended One herself, to which he extended an invite for her to join him and ‘work things out in private’. Ool Vulk has henceforth been banned from Lyrae’s Palace, except when performing official functions.”

    “House Oblorn and House Lan, having but the shattered remnants of their fleets after the Great War, will wait for the new designs to begin production before they field fleets of their own again.”

    “In the meantime, these two houses are charged with taking a few, small ships and searching through two of our neighboring sectors along the so-called ‘Galactic Core’ and seek out other, awakened godstars. We wish them well, for at the moment, Lyrae stands alone.”

    “Ayl Lan swore to never return until she found another like Lyrae, however she was prevented from departing by a sudden ailment and missed the beginning of her expedition. She begged the Ascended One’s forgiveness on hands and knees until asked to stop because, and again, I quote, “Ayl, you’re creeping me out. Please stop.” Ool Vulk, who was in the process of being thrown out at the time, declared that he, for one, appreciated the view.”

    “Ool Vulk is henceforth barred from entering any of House Lan’s estates, official business or no.”

    “Tur Oblorn, meanwhile, has begun experiments with the crystals bless with Lyrae’s light that scatter our home region. He hopes that, with modern mystical and scientific techniques, he can come to a greater understanding of them and perhaps develop new ways of enchanting on a massive scale. “Modern problems require modern solutions,” he said. He also took the time to deny any and all claims about him being a necromancer and swore he was just a wolf trying to raise a family.”

    “He also took the opportunity to call Ool Vulk an arrogant brat and apologize on behalf of Lyraen’s everywhere to anyone who had to interact with him. “In this instance,” he said, “We have truly failed as a species.”

    “Tur Oblorn is welcome anytime on the lands of House Vulk. Whether he’ll be allowed to leave alive is a different matter entirely.”

    “When informed of this, the Ascended One rebuked them both. “We do not need another war, not with so many potential enemies surrounding us.” The wisdom of this has been generally acknowledged and House Oblorn and Vulk have begun looking for other ways to settle their scores. Baking contests, however, were ruled out, much to the disappointment of anyone who’s tried Rhim Vulk’s cooking.”

    The quantum nature of the Tezh had put them on the cusp of FTL travel for some time, but the mysterious message tech provided the epiphany needed to vault from the bonds of interstellar distances that had kept them limited to Yutov. The excitement of pure scientific curiosity for first-hand experience consumed nearly all their attention, tinkering with the empty room and testing their nascent FTL tech at such a pace that they had ships in the depths of space prior to the Simulacrum event. When the GLD tech was released, it was discovered to be a more efficient and streamlined iteration of what the Tezh had created and they quickly adapted their designs and retrofit ships to this better tech.

    After making contact with the Droccen Imperium's contact at the Simulacrum Gathering inside the Tessering Construct, they have reached out to the Cosmic Couriers to dispatch a vessel to the Droccen homeworld.

      Jesska media is a curiosity to many. When Celestia Corp goes through with a purchase of one of their largest broadcasting networks, it begins to play not only through one empire but two. Natascha has insisted that despite the buyout that they allow it to run autonomously for a couple years before really changing their production or markets, keeping funds going to continue existing products, and only changing the entire advertising scheme to be dedicated entirely to Celestia Corp products; which are just a natural feature of Celestia showing up anywhere at all. One way or another, their advanced entertainment industries seem like a very promising piece of tomorrow. ...Quite literally, as humans and Jesska begin to mingle and trade homeworlds. The lower classes from Celestia in particular are abandoning their empire in favor of Zara, before Celestia Corp puts a hefty 'migration fee' on travel long term. With any luck, the Commonwealth will help them track down rogue civilians.

      Arcane crystals are... Weird to Celestia Corp. The trade agreement went well enough, but somewhere between taking interest in the crystals and receiving them, Celestia Corp forgot to ask pretty well anything about them. Especially not what they could do with them. The deal falls through the next year, to the annoyance of investors.

    2. Mittens the cat is promoted to 'head of cuteness' by Natascha. When the time comes to vote on how Celestia Enterprises will act in the future concerning the exploration of the core, things seem to be in favor of exploring it despite the warnings. After having personally won the vote, Natascha swings the vote by buying a ton of company shares under Mittens' account, which are subsequently removed from the equation because he is, in fact, just a cat. Buying them herself to publicly force her way through would have been to morally questionable, but as long as nobody knows that the account who bought all the mystery shares was a cat, it stands as just a standard business transaction... Right?
    3. The tourism begins. After having gotten off to an agreeable start with the surrounding nations, the pull of trade towards Olympia begins...

Chairman Vauo had climbed his way up the Party's ladder in part through service in the Fleet and he had been thoroughly disappointed with what he'd seen while serving. Presidium Station was alight with controversy over his decision to massively increase defense prioritization but none wanted to risk being called out as being against the safety of the Republic in this time of great expansion of the known galaxy. A new fleet of six GLD equipped warships is built in the shipyards over Solidarity with an eager Chairman checking in often on their progress.
    2. [Military] Raise 1 Unit of Red Fleet Archangels - Agile fightercraft are turned out in bulk by the abuse of the Matter Rearrangers beyond their limited power availability to mass produce parts. Some fighter pilots express unease about the sturdiness of their craft but squadron leaders are consistently only those who accept that each Archangel had it's own quirk a good pilot could learn to embrace. Successful pilots and their craft quickly gain a notoriety for their bird and for themselves, usually in some form of a nickname. Competition among these "Aces" for supremacy in the inky black promotes a culture of daring risk-embracing hotshots among the Archangel Squadrons.
    3. [Military 5] Introduce Mass Wave Tactical Doctrine (1d3 on size losses) - The SPR was liable to commit to war only when it believed it could devote its entire resources to the task. Every man and woman of able body and service age would be expected to pick up a machine gun, grab a space suit, and march out into the void of space in one form or another to serve the Red Fleet if war came. This culture of military preparedness meant constant drilling for those in service and bi-yearly drills for the populace writ large. While the people of the Teron System were not expert warriors they worked hard to act as a community with service as a soldier playing a large role in that greater sense of kinship.
    4. [Diplomacy] Increase Reputation with SoS from 0 to 1 TN: 10 Roll: 13 - While the Sisterhood followed the One in a more religiously devout way than the practice was generally observed within the Terron System their shared beliefs and SPR respect for the Sisterhood's selfless vigil sees the Republic make friendly overtures. It seems their common outlook provided an avenue for collaboration and shortly the SPR diplomats sent to make contact with the Sisters report an improvement of relations between the two entities.
    5. [Diplomacy] Attend Gift of the Simulacrum - Important matters related to the One and the future of the northeastern quadrant of the galaxy were discussed in this first meeting of galactic denizens. When it becomes clear the extent of discussions to be had at this grand meeting the Chairman encourages SPR representatives to keep an open line through Guardian's provisioned communications network for further discussions with the SPR's neighbors.

Relations with nearby stellar powers are growing stronger and directives have quietly come down to scientists and engineers to begin work to develop methane-fueled engines leading many to speculate the Chairman intended to grow economic ties with the Rocthurhi in the upcoming years.
    • Science fiction stories have exploded in popularity in the wake of the the Doorway Incident and growing numbers of communications between senior SPR officials and leadership from distant star systems never before seen by Terron natives. The growing closeness between the inhuman Rocthurhi and Tezh and the SPR's own government has fostered a xenophilic subculture glorifying the physical and psychological differences from humanity not precluding unity within official propaganda.
    • Upon returning from the Simulacrum the Chairman takes another tour of the Red Fleet construction yards and holds a formal announcement regarding the up until now "Task Force One's" name. In honor of the Droccen siblings of the One and their Simulacrum representative the fleet shall henceforth be officially designated the "Princess Task Force" and Vaou's personal flagship is christened The Sai. Some rank and file soldiers bemoan such a soft sounding name while others object on the grounds of royal titles thrown around for Republic vessels but the majority don't much care and some embrace the unique name wholeheartedly adding crown-style insignia to their uniforms and vessels and accenting their red paint jobs with flourishes of pink said to match the skin tone of the Drocc.

Much of the cargo space had been sacrificed for additional crew quarters and munitions storage for its guided fission torpedoes and vulcan cannons.

    [Econ] Explore L-8 (Result 12) - The Second Star Expedition shied away from the core, still heading spinward but outward along the spiral arms, nearer to the location of the nearest known Cosmic Courier relay.

    [Mil] Raise Military Unit - The Gelean First Fleet was established under Captains Chandra of Ross, Malia of Sen, and Kaylee of Ross. Consisting of three Vane-class Mining Saucers retrofitted into the new Valkyrie Light Warship design in orbital shipyards near Jemisin and a smattering of drones, shuttles, and other support ships, the First Fleet stood ready for battle in this new era.

    [Dip] Attempt to become Acquainted with the Sisters of Silence (Result 6, fail) - Though not recognizing The One as a meaningful religious movement within the Republic at this time, Parliament acknowledged the supposed danger of the core and agreed to both focus its efforts elsewhere and encourage its neighbors not to breach the barrier.
