It's like Archenemy, but it's free-for-all and everyone has the benefits of being Archenemy.

...which sort of defeats the purpose of Archenemy, but it'sit could be still fun.

I'm not the one who came up with Supervillain Rumble. It's in the Comprehensive Rules as a variant.

Then I like Machiavellian for the name somewhere. It gets the connotation of schemes and the political maneuvering that occurs in free for all multiplayer games.

Yeah, I feel like it would be awesome to do that but it seem like they prefer to put a joke we aren't into in the title?

So, the third story article is out for Strixhaven, and it feels like a mediocre summary of 4 other articles. Everything happens away too fast because 5 short chapters isn't actually enough to tell the story they are telling. This has been a problem since Zendikar, but I hoped they were getting better. Last week's wasn't bad at least.

Also, I think we might be tied for title options. Is someone else going to vote?

Did they stop printing Magic novels with the sets? The last one I bought was Odyssey (cripes that was ages ago).

They did, yeah. They went back to it to a degree, but also danced around with web fiction a lot too. The entire like, chain of how magic has done story is a big weird winding one and I'll totally tell you the whole of it once we have the new thread up so it doesn't get lost in the shift over.

I believe that at the moment "M:tG Thread XXV: 3 Vorthoses barely clinging to sanity and 45 Spikes" is in the lead, one vote ahead of "M:tG Thread XXV: As Garfield Intended" and "Magic the Gathering XXV: DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME ONTO EXTUS' LIST? asked Prof. Onxy calmly." which are tied at three.
