I like "Authors of the new outrage" as another possible thread title.
Alternatively "Have some pills, your serenity", though that sounds like we are pushing drugs.
On the gripping hand, maybe Girl Genius XXVII: What is the Dust Ape Babbling About (or some suitable variation thereof).

Of the ones already proposed, I like Girl Genius XXVII: Why on earth aren't we dead yet better than Girl Genius XXVII: not dead und a mystery, but keep me as a vote for each. I also like Girl Genius XXVII: Its a Catering Job Now and Girl Genius XXVII: Do Not Tell Me To "Calm Myself!". Not that the votes actually mean anything other than a straw poll to further discussion about good titles.

All told, I think Girl Genius XXVII: Authors of the New Outrage has a nice, GG ring to it. It just screams sparks.

The problem is that you generally have good lines each update, but many aren't appropriate. I mean, the line about killing yourselves out of shame for knowing Vapnoople is a good one, but it doesn't really work as a title.

And here's hoping the message is "Kill Lucy" with a follow up of useful info about what happened to here that made killing her a good idea.

The GC was probably near the dome in the first place because they sensed that Vapnoople was there.

According to the map, Scotland, Cornwall and most of Wales are above water. Doesn't mean they aren't sinking, just that England is a long way in the lead.

They're all sinking, if you look carefully, you can see an outline of where the shoreline used to be. Ireland is also sinking. But all that said, the map shouldn't be considered 100% canonical.

I'm working on the assumption that all of the British Isles are England in the GG setting, because Albia (of England) just flat-out conquered them instead of the convoluted series of probably-non-forum-appropriate events that led to Great Britain/the UK in our timeline.

Does that specify whales made by sparks, whales that are sparks, both, or Queen Whales?

Cetaceans don't stay at the bottom of the ocean. In really deep oceans they don't even visit it. These could be a version of the whale shark, or something else, but if they stay at the bottom, they're fish.

While the tail of the cetacean does suggest a mammal, regular whales are as small in comparison to it as some herring in comparison to our whales. The cetacean is also way more flexible then any mammal we know from our world, so the spine (if it has comparable bone structure) has many more vertebrae then the known species.
In a war it doesn't matter who's right, only who's left.

    Good point.

However I suspect this critter doesn't so much fit in taxonomic classification as laugh at it while it ponders how relatively boring the current epoch is and "Where did those tasty dinosaurs go off too?"

"Great Cetacean" was probably just the name given to it by humans to avoid having to consider how impossibly young humanity really is.

    A) „That is a big mammal.” doesn't roll very well off the tongue.

    B) It's whale-fish.

    C) That thing is no whale. That's some primordial deep-sea horror from beyond the dawn of time that would give Great Cthulhu pause.
I mean, look at the actual whales next to it.
They're small enough it could swallow them by accident.
    Great Cetacean?
Great Leviathan would be more appropriate.
