The answer is always Nightmare Moon! :3

(link cause it's a big image, but very lovely)

Yeah, got zero trick or treaters as expected yesterday. Honestly I think the holiday just suffers for being on a school night.

I only got three myself, up from zero last year. In my case I think part of the reason is I typically don't get home until later at night, so my house is dark until 7:30 or so.

Well then, rejoice, for next year it'll be on Saturday.

I didn't get any kids either, although part of that is likely because by the time 5 o'clock rolled around it was 26 and snow flurries abounded.

Noted, though at this point it's more liekly I'll just maybe remember to look at the graphic novel; I'm just too tired of chasing down comics nows, there's not time enough in the day.

Especially as the 3.Aotrs revision is STILL ongoing and so damn slowly, since everytime I do something, I need to do (or, *sigh* re-do) fifteen other things. The plan today was just to add a couple of bits to archivist to kill the last dead levels, steal the shaman's hexes and give a load to the spirit shaman and re-parse through the oracle mysteries I ported last time and import some PF spells if they were decent, maybe add a few more mysteries.

Well, knocked in on the head coming to the last one, YEESH, this is all slow crawling slow. Everytime I think I'm nearly there, there's still so much to do.

So I should break into your house, cook you dinner (leave it warm on the stove) then escape before you get home.

That was pretty fun. Of particular note was Rarity's indignant moment when RD commented on how "nothing" was almost as bad as "clothes". Poor Flash Sentry gets crushed again. The overly dramatic ending to that short was pretty funny too. I actually liked the cornucopia outfits.

Seems like it'll be a big one as down here the highs have dropped suddenly by 15+ degrees from topping off at 90F last Thursday.

    There's an EQG special?

    Keep an eye on EqD...

So, in a sort-of break from my 3.A oddessy, I actually started Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Spent most of the day, of course, working out what I wanted to player. (In the end, Rogue 3/Monk 15 with a couple of levels of paladin in...)

Kingmaker is unfortunately one of those games where it is basically is just "learn by reloading" all the time, because if dn't explictly know something it coming, whelp, there you go, you did something you were supposed to be gotcha's on, now fight a creature with AC 35 at level 2. Oh, sorry, I mean, reload again.

(Using the turn-based mod, as it felt like it was 75% TBS already, unlike PoE 2. Definitely worth it.)

I dunno. I think that if the sisters could convincingly hide incompetence, that would mean a level of cleverness that already puts them several points ahead of the Tallest.

So... Apparently Hasbro released some stuff for the new pony show for 2020.

Some people have already wondered if this is going to be a TTG-style treatment (meaning flanderised versions of the characters). and fandom reaction seems laregly meh to negative from what I've seen in skimming.

I mean, as we know, terrible person and all, I find TTG hilarious, so I'd actually be down for that sort of absolutely pitch-black, surrealist nonsense; *casts Thuamic Dispersion Sphere V and Shield XX* but as one of the key elements of TTG is willfully Learning The Wrong Lesson, I kind of can't see Hasbro okaying that myself...

I feel it's a bit too soon to release a new pony show. Should give the fandom time to settle down and build up an appetite again.

Though if it is gonna be a flanderized TTG style show, I'd probably pass. TTG was very hit and miss with me on the humor.

The problem with TTG is not that it isn't funny, it's that it just makes me miss the actual show. Satire can only take you so far.

I'm going to hold off on judging the new show until we at least have an actual trailer so we can get a feel for what the humor and writing is like.
