Re: Let's watch: The West Wing
How exactly are you planning on discussing the West Wing without talking politics? I'm pretty sure episode 1 hits both politics and religion in a hurry, which causes major logistical issues.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.
I'm not joking one bit. I would buy the hell out of that. -- ChubbyRain

Yeah. Something about Josh Lyman insulting a televangelist on one of those news debate shows, I think.
Anyways, it'd be like discussing porn while talking around all the sex as if it wasn't there. It's not coy about hitting controversial material and making it the main focus of any given episode, and even the far more mundane stuff is verboten here.

Re: Let's watch: The West Wing
Well, it may not work then. If the mundane stuff is even questionable then maybe it won't happen. The discussions. I think that people can still watch it. But there won't be any talking about it and I guess that I won't be doing this.
Never mind then.Blog Read and Comment! I use green for joking and Blue for sarcasm.

Re: Let's watch: The West Wing
You could lean into the comedic side - the idea of discussing WW without politics is pretty funny, and as a sort of missing-the-point review there's potentially some fun there.

The Mod on the Silver Mountain: Forum-appropriate in-depth discussion of The West Wing would effectively be limited to sudden arboreal stops on bicycles. I'm afraid I'm going to have to say no on this one.
