chrome no longer saving my recently closed windows.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It used to be I would shut down my 5 tabs at night, wake up in the morning and click on the recently closed tabs button to put everything back up, now it doesnt work anymore. Did I accidentally change a setting?

Not that im aware of, how would I check?*EDIT* Something new also started happening, when I mouse over each open tab I get a brief description of what it is, like this one lists the discussion topic and site name. Kind of odd since its basically the same thing the tab itself displays, just with more visible characters.

Silly question--you've checked the "On start-up" setting? It should be set to "Continue where you left off" if you want all your tabs to reload as they were when you closed the browser.

Thats not a silly question at all as it was the problem apparently. No clue how that got turned off as I pretty much never mess with my settings. Thank you very much for the help as it was getting annoying having to reopen 4+ tabs every morning back to where I needed them.

This and the site name on tab hovering are from an update. Well, I'm guessing on the former, but I'm sure about the latter. They always seem to break settings somehow. Originally Posted by Traab
