    More than that, you also know he's a stonkingly powerful mage-a chronomancer who warps time and space to his advantage.

    He's capable of seeming to teleport short distances basically at-will, as well as avoid blows that by all rights should be impossible.

    But, he's supposed to be fragile as feth.

    With that History check, you don't get anything other than the name. (And all of you can read the Arcana spoiler-I assume you share info.)

    With that Religion check, you get that he's an undead, and that he's capable of casting divine spells as well as arcane.

    You've got a month of prep time outside the battlefield, and one hour in the battlefield before Sans arrives.

    Imma say no more than a dozen, just to keep minionmancy to a manageable amount.

    Is that 12 zombies or twelve total minions or twelve minions each?

    Does anyone have Wish, Planar Binding, or Conjure Fey? We should conjure and bind a Bheur Hag Coven and a handful of Korreds and Couatls. Any other suggestions?

    Edit: So 3 of us have wish and one has conjure celestial.

    If the limit is 12 minions each, here is my proposal:
    On D-day -30 to -19 Kimiko will cast conjure celestial everyday and Illiriyan will cast Wish for an 8th level planar binding. So illiriyan will control 12 couatls.
    On those same days, Kimiko will cast wish for conjure fey and I will cast wish for planar binding binding 3 Bheur hags and 9 Korreds. We can swap some days if you want to control some of them.

    We can stop at 12 total per JNAP if he wants us to. In that case, I'd recommend 3 Hags, and 5 Korreds and 4 Couatls. I could control the Hags since they share spell slots. Kimiko could control 5 Korreds and Illiriyan could control the 4 Couatls.

    I know what I'm going to do with Wish on D-9 to D-1. Anyone have ideas on what I should do with it on D-18 to D-10?

    Imma say 12 total. And can someone remind me how EXACTLY Planar Binding works? Like, is it guaranteed to work, or is there a check, or what? Because if there's a check, you'll need to make it.

    They get a charisma save. We can keep trying until we get 12 minions. So from D-29 to D-10 we'd have 40 chances to get 12 minions.

    I'm not even sure this is how the others want to use their wishes, though.

    And I won't be upset if you just rule we can't do this, or maybe we can each have only one minion. I'm fine with either of those. When you said 12, you were referring to zombies not additional 12th level casters. So a different ruling is understandable.

    I didn't build my character to make minions. When you gave us 30 days, though, I thought you wanted us to maximize that time.

    Yeah... I do think that that is a bit much.

    So, I'll change it to one minion per person, but if it's Planar Binding or similar, you can assume they automatically fail whatever save is needed.

    Fair enough. The spell seems to allow unlimited zombies so I was going to hollow out a few towns and create a tidal wave of undead stank, but as Bob says, not worth it in those amounts. Can I change the spell or is it too late for that?

    Without empowered evocation, we'll have a hard time doing enough damage with magic missile even if we all took it. Maybe Kimiko with Hexblade's curse should have it. I knew I should have gone with a nuclear wizard.
    As described, sans would have very low Hp, I wouldn't be surprised if a single HP.

    Here's what I have for a plan so far after we each bind a minion.

    30 days before the battle, Dox gives everyone a coin with a 3rd level Continual Flame.

    With what Igor tells me about the teleporting, my initial plan won’t work, so here’s my backup plan.

    D-9 to D-2 days leading up to the fight, Dox casts Sympathy on 50 pound rocks. On D-9 to D-2, he uses Wish to cast Sympathy another 8 times on 50 pound rocks for a total of 16 rocks. Antipathy doesn’t work if Sans is immune to the frightened condition, but Sympathy does not cause a condition, so he will be affected unless he is immune to 8th level spells or makes every save. If Sans fails any saves, he will not be able to move away from the rocks, which should keep him from teleporting.

    The day before the battle, Dox casts Contingency with Dimension Door “If I am injured and do not say ‘no’ then cast Dimension Door." That night, he uses Wish to cast Mindblank on himself.

    Two hours before the battle, Dox casts Rary's Telepathic Bond and Water Breathing on the party. He uses a 6th level slot to cast Creation, making a 1 pound granite ball, which he gives to his invisible stalker or Bheur Hag.

    Dox and Sim then both cast Tensers Floating Disc to carry the heavy rocks into the arena.

    Once we enter, we will place rocks at:

    E14, H14, E17, H17, G12, G19, I7, I24
    W14, Z14, W17, Z17, X12, X19, V7, V24

    Once in the battlefield, Dox casts Mirage Arcane as an 8th level spell, exactly replicating the current battle map, except covering everything in 1” of lead, including the walls, floor, pillars, and ceiling, as well as the difficult terrain and water so they are no longer hazards. Sim then casts a level 8 Mirage Arcane covering 1" of adamantine on top of Dox's, leaving one open 1' square in every 5' grid square.

    At T-30 minutes, Dox then casts Leomunds Tiny Hut as a 7th level spell (at F-G, 15-16), leaving his major image outside. The other PCs can then move to Sim, where he will cast Leomunds Tiny Hut at 7th level as well (at X-Y, 15-16), so the other players will have 2 safe zones as long as Dox and Sim do not move out of their huts. You will need to step out to cast spells but can otherwise attack normally from within them and can come and go as you please. Both sorcerers should start outside the Tiny Huts so they can Counterspell anything Sans tries to cast.

    So before the battle starts, Dox will have used level 6, 7, and 8 spell slots. Sim will have used level 1, 7, and 8 spell slots.

    I'm open to changes or suggestions. Or you can fill in your preparations as you want.

    Can I fly and still fire a bow? Can I fire out of the tiny hut? Can I be on top of the hut as I am invisible due to my ring?
