I mean... the robots did head off in a certain direction. I'm having problems placing which direction (the Raiders fled to the north, north west, I believe) and we came here from the east, meaning we're in the west-ish.

The robots weren't going east towards Neighagra or we would have encountered (more of) them, so unless they went further west, the only general directions they could have gone were SW, S, or SE. Or maybe NE.

But yeah, I wasn't sure where you got that they were heading to the Resort... Unless you're confabulating something from the Discord Discussion about Pepper's ancestry...

Basic tools just give you the ability to use the skill. You'd have to buy expensive tools for a bonus.

And looks like taking his time helped Doc yet again! I'm liking this slow and steady approach. It is really paying off for Doc. Now just have to wait and see if there were any difficulty penalties.

We did! Oddy and Doc unleashed the power of teamwork and unlocked the door. Inside were boxes of batteries, medical supplies, spare parts and other assorted loot items we can sell for caps.

Doc, Golden, and Roxy are sorting through the loot, taking inventory so we can sell it. Rime is checking some corners in the rooms for any other secret doors that might be around, and I believe Glint and Hawk are outside working on Hawk's power armor, but something might be wrong with it.

Alright. I sense we are approaching a bit of a roadblock here in terms of people not being clear exactly what is done and what there is to do next. We can assume that you all break down the computer for parts and inventory things successfully. What you have is, in short, robotics parts. A skilled machinist could make practically any design you wanted from these, maybe several if you don't want Harmony Prime, but you could also sell them for a tidy sum. What that sum is will depend on negotiations. Additionally, there are a few medical supplies and lots of spark batteries, which are both robotics parts and ammo (though only ten will fit Black Hawk's rifle without modification).

With that said, I believe the next thing on the agenda is for Rime to cast her spell.

Yeah, I don't want the game to meander so I'm good with moving forward. We can just OOCly decide on watch duties and such and just focus on Schroedinger's filly until then.

That sounds good to me. We can just get to the part where we get together and Rime tries a spell to get some info on whether Dr. Banks was crazy or just insane.

Yep. I believe they both have lockpick. I know it is filled with radiation, but I was thinking maybe open the doors and try to look in from a safe distance. Or, maybe eat the cost of some rad medicine to see if there is anything valuable in there.

Since we didn't find any hazmat suits to protect us, someone would have to "take one for the team". Also, Radiation does spread out quickly. That door might be our only protection. If we open that door it could flood the rest of this bunker, which means we cannot use it to stay overnight. Also also, radiation can ruin our electronic loot.

I'm going to vote no on opening the door at present because there's very little upside to opening it right now. Maybe it can be open in the morning after we get our stuff outside to a safe distance.

We do have the supplies to remove like 200 rads. If the source is static that wouldn't be too bad. Radioactivity works sorta like the explosion rules. Its effect decrease by a factor of the square of the distance. 1, 4, 9, 16 etc. Distance is a good protection. We have several hours to kill before night! That is plenty of time to move everything and get it ready to leave early in the morning.

Hm. If the room is filled with radioactive dust that would turn the entire bunker into a hazard. That would be horrible. Everything would be radioactive and there would be no escaping it. So, imagining the worse makes me agree. I am fine with leaving it alone even if it is super tempting.

Any electronics in the room would be ruined. Rime doesn't care about electronics though. :P

While true that distance is our greatest defense, we also have time on our side at the moment. We could wait until morning just in case someone gets sick/injured in the act of opening the door. Hmm, how much material blocks your detection spells?

Knowing nothing of what's behind the door is the tough part of this. My guess is the Bunker's power supply is behind that door since I did not recall seeing it anywhere else yet.

In the electronics defense, it's paying our bills. :3
