I'm officially staying out of it until combat ends unless someone wants to try a risky or weird gambit

Harley drawing energy from the tower send out the first seven blasts. Six of the blasts miss but still deal quite a bit of damage even. The last blast flys right into the screen stack almost croaking the whole front rank. Dee sends a hoboken at the minertaurs that strikes home dealing damage despite the damage reduction. Krippen raises his left hand and starts charging.

Troops begin to move. Pudgie flys over to the trying to get the attention of the antz. Before flying North. The antz on the walls seem to pause for a moment. Before moving into the city.

The archers fire croaking the four goats damaged by the fire blast and damaging one of the riders. The darf archer formations move a quarter of the way to the walls and open fire the arrows bursting into flame as they fly. A few of the screening units for the archers stacks few hits. The arrows from the North wall are another matter. Two of thier crossbowmen take aim at pudgie A sniping the little bird out of the air croaking it!

One of the arrows from the North heads right at Harley. The arrow fly at her chest the bolt bounces off but the heat of the arrow comes through. Harley burns a small amount of juice grounding out the fire.

The troops finish thier move. Your troops arrive at the East gate. Ant stack 1 is now in the garrison. Ant stack 2 is at the west wall. The cross bow flip putting the crossbows our front. The crossbow stack are 1/4 the way to the wall. Other enemy stacks are half way to the wall.

Edit made.

Some of them did a studder step, but for the most part they hit the ground running. The stack did slow however which is why they are not at the walls.

I belive the rule you are refering to is if the stack is engaged in melee combat. Send me a link to the section if im wrong

Keep in mind that the goat was in advanced decay so these are not the normal stats

Make sure the screener infront of Shadow is not one that is carnied. Infact the two archer stacks should swap screeners so that the insubstantial screeners are infront of the other stack.


Move the rattika in to the same stack as Ash it will get a bigger bonus. +2 tribal bonus from Ash +1CW bonus

I also I think you should swap Krippen’s Stabber with the uncroaked woof.

Harley unleashes five more fire blasts from the tower. This time she scores three direct hits. Croaking four crossbowmen and the damaged darf rider. She damages several other stacks almost croaking another group of crossbowmen. Dee fires at the same minertaur, but misses with her shot. Krippen unleashes his disk at Breach. However one of the screening minertaurs takes the hit for him.

Shadow and her archers let loose croaking two more darfs and damaging a goat The darfs return fire thier bolts again bursting into flame. Again damaging a few units but not croaking any. Another bolt bounces of Harley and one of her uncroaked woofs is damaged.

Spike leads his melee stacks into battle. Seeing the 2nd stack of antz nearing the tower. He moves to engage it with his personal stack. Sending the other three stacks after the injured stack of antz. Spikes heavies do heavy damage to the antz. Spike croaking one of the worker antz with a critical hit!

Ash leaders the charge on antz stack 1 he breathes but does very little damage to the antz front rank. While damaging the antz they are very hearty only managing to croak a single ant. The solder antz prove to be very dangerous as A bit from one drops your stabber with a poison bite.

The enemy arrive at the walls. Breaches stack prepares to storm the gates. While the North force prepares grapples.

Edit that small detail above, and that you said Spike was going for the ones near the Tower. if he thought he should attack the undamaged ones alone (which we didn't want, we wanted the damaged stack to croak to a man..ant being attacked by our 3 most powerful stacks), then he attacked the ones near the walls, and the other 3 stacks went for the damaged near the tower

What a tactical blunder out of Spike, we'd expect better of a Warlord. Given 2 foes with equal damage output, it's always better to focus fire with max DPS on the damaged one, and it's not worse to leave the weakest stack to face a single of the other stacks, the damage received is the same and it's only for 1 round

Shadow is also paying strict attention to the number of arrows that bounce of his Shady and Woof screeners, as he've been told they will take that number of hits in melee, and thus will need to be told to retreat when melee time comes if more than 1.

Harley lets loose with the last of the charges in the tower. Harley also gives ruler orders to Spike and Shadow. These last few shots seem a little weaker than the other shots. But still drop 8 x bow men and drop a goat. Dee unleashes another hobokin dropping the first Minertaur. Krippen start charging his 2nd disk.

The archers damage the Hobby and other units of the mounted stack. Shadow targets the other damaged Minertaur dealing damage but its still on it feet. The enemy crossbowmen take aim and fire. Breaches archers take aim for the first time and loose. From the north three of the crossbowmen manage to hit Harleys stack. Two woofs take damage and a 3rd arrow bounces off of Harley. She again grounds the fire damage. A single uncroaked Hobby is lost in the returning archer duel.

Spikes stack engages the antz while his stacks take some damage they manage to cut down and damage several antz in return. Breach mount steps forward his stack hitting the gate like a thunder head. The two darf stacks to the north sling thier grapple hooks and begin climbing the walls.

Harley starts things off fireblasting stack four finishing ofd the stack. Dee and Krippen focus on attacking Breach himself. Krippen manages to connect but Dees shot goes wide. The stone bull takes the hit but is still up.

Shadow takes aim dealing damage. The bull looks to be on its last legs but manages to stand. Shadows archers take aim croaking four of the injured darfs. The return volley of 11 arrows fron the east all seems to be centered on the woof solder stack. The stack takes heavy damage but all stay on thier feet. The north archers again take aim. One arrow managing to find its mark ( no more flaming arrows)

Breach rubs a clasp on his cloak and seems to start to blur in and out of focus. The minertar slam into the gate once again. The stone bull raises its massive head focusing on shadows stack a mass od small stone shoots from its nose striking shadows stack dealing heavy damage and dusting an uncroaked hobby.

The two northern stacks of melee darfs gain the walls and begin moving towards the east wall. Spike and his melee stacks engage the antz. A few of your units take some damage and several antz are croaked. Stack 7 merges with stack 1.

Harley burns more juice blasting darf stack ten croaking the four in the front rank. Dee fires at the injured mineataur croaking the mighty beast. Krippen raises his hand and begins charging his last ki point.

The archer stacks reform and shadow takes aim at the bull, but with the stacks reshuffle she misses when one of the golems bumps her arm. Shadows archers fair better dropping 3 more darfs. The last remaining darf from stack 8 joins breaches stack. The enemy archer from the east take aim at shadows stack. The walls prove thier worth with only two shots connecting. The northern archer stack climb the ropes just gaining the walls. At the end of thier move.

Breaches stack slams into the walls again even the darf joining this stack leading his axe to the effort. The gates seem to explode in. Stack 1 and stack 3 rush inside. While stack 5 and 6 remain outside near some of thier fallen comrades stack 11 moves past stack ten. Moving closer to but not engaging the melee wall stack.

Spike manages to croak a health ant between him and his mounts attacks while the rest of ant stack 2 suffers some damage. Ash along with the woofs fair better croaking 3 of the remaining for antz. The antz only manage two return hits. One when bills stack disengaged from ant stack 1.

Yes as long as they have a command unit in the stack and take no other actions. otherwise they provoke. Keep in mind that the units running will lose ground its easier to chase than and avoid attacks. They could keep it up for a round or two before they are caught.
