Liselle ascends 10ft by the wall and moves the remaining 30ft balancing carefully towards the rope hanging from the harpoon. Balance DC 15 (1d20+10)[21].

The Choker Zombie moves off of the stone platform to the nearest cord and ascends 30ft.

"My eyes! I'll kill you all and feed you to my babies." screams the enormous creature, blinded by the sparkling dust.

The Spider Princess begins to cast again as the heroes below let loose their ranged attacks.
Solstafir's harpoon doesn't quite reach, falling back down and clattering onto the stone platform (critical miss).

Orchid fires another dragonsbreath arrow at the monster:
(1d20+14)[29] to hit (if this isn't the correct modifier in this case, let me know)
    On a 34 (1d20+14)[19] to confirm
Deals (3d6+6)[18] piercing damage, plus 1 fire damage, and on hit requires a Ref DC 15 vs catching on fire (Spider Princess's save (1d20+8)[20])
On a critical hit it deals (1d6+6)[8] plus 1 fire damage more.

On hit, the Spider Princess must concentrate to successfully cast her Venomous Magic Missile, DC 10+damage (1d20+2)[6].

She is completely interrupted as the fiery arrow stabs into her, immolating a web sack, she screeches a guttural scream of pain, as she shifts preventing the fire from spreading further. Her spell fizzles, the magical projectiles evaporating as quickly as they were conjured.

Spoiler: She didn't succeed in casting, these rolls don't occur
    Show
If the Spider Princess successfully casts, she splits her missiles between the two targets she can detect:
    vs. Liselle:
    (4d4+4)[11] damage
Fort Save DC 20 vs 1 strength damage
    (1d20+8)[14]
    (1d20+8)[25]
    (1d20+8)[10]
    (1d20+8)[12]

    vs. Choker Zombie
    (4d4+4)[11] damage
Zombie is not affected by poison.

(1d6)[1] tiny spider escapes the immolated web sack alive.

Four of the baby spiders are blinded, and stand still, uncertain what to do. One that is not blinded, descends 10ft and fires a venomous magic missile at the closest target: Liselle.
    (1d4+1)[5] damage
Fort save DC 10 vs. 1 dex damage (1d20+8)[15]

    Spoiler: Status and Conditions
    Show
The Spider Princess has taken 24 damage, it seems she has some damage reduction. The bottom of her is 80ft in the air.
1 tiny spider enters the combat and is 80ft in the air.
4 tiny spiders are 70ft in the air and blinded, completely incapacitating them this round and for the next 3 rounds.
1 tiny spider is 60ft in the air

Liselle takes 5 damage, reducing her from 24 HP to 19 HP and has taken 4 points of strength damage. Liselle is 50ft in the air.
Solstafir's Steeley Resolve empties and his current health is reduced to 28.

"You would burn my babies? I will devour you all!" she continues screaming, making it impossible for the blinded tiny spiders to track any movement with their poor listening skills.

    The party may act.

Liselle maneuvers to the center of the 50ft horizontal web where she plants her feet and prepares to attack tiny spiders. (1d20+10)[28] balance DC 15.

The Choker zombie ascends nearby, using its climb speed, reaching a height of 70ft.

The Spider Princess again attempts to cast Magic Missile at the targets she can detect on the cords, when she is met with the party's prepared actions to interrupt. Concentration (1d20+2)[15].

Orchid fires her arrow (vs. Concealment, miss on 1 (1d5)[5])

Thanquil's arrow lands in her enormous gut.

Solstafir hurls a harpoon directly into her eye.

The barrage of attacks completely disrupts her magic.

The babies on the other hand, continue as they have been.

The tiny spider 60ft in the air attempts to cast magic missile at the nearest target, who is Liselle, 10ft beneath the spider. She takes the opportunity to lash out with her spiked chain.

    (1d20+8)[27] to hit
On hit it deals the tiny spider instant death, splattering it and shaking the cord web above.

The last baby spider moves down to join its companions, provoking from the Choker who whips at it with a tentacle.

    (1d20+8)[25] to hit
On hit it deals the tiny spider instant death, splattering it and shaking the cord web.

The four baby spiders remaining cling to the cords as if their miserably short lives depend on it, unable to determine what is happening around them while blinded.

In the chaos the massive creature bellows a guttural cry, this time, rather than one of anger, it sounds more akin to one of grief. "No! Not my babies!"

The damage from the onslaught results in four more of the pulsating web sacks bursting. 16 more of the tiny spiders emerge! If they get off 16 Venomous Magic Missiles, it could be disastrous for the heroes of Solum.

(1d6)[5] emerge from the first web sack.

Finally, finally, the damned poison factory was almost within reach. Nothing left to do but try and close the gap before she gets poisoned any further, and smash that thing's head while she still had enough strength to do it.

Or try to, anyway. Even Liselle doubted it'd be *that* easy.

Orchid's scroll is consumed, unleashing mystic energy to fuel her allies on the ground (Liselle and the zombie are too far up to be affected).

The mystic energy rapidly congregates on the remaining two web sacks as the gargantuan corpse becomes limp, the sacks burst open, as yet more foes enter the battle!

    (2d6)[10] Tiny spiders emerge.
From each web sack also leaps a large aberration spider, much like their mother, they are almost entirely spider, except they have the faces of male drow, and a pair of arms.

The first of the large spiders has a twisted expression of rage, its bottom jaw missing, instead having a bottom jaw, his face ends in fangs and six mandibles covered in jagged teeth, each dripping with venom. With his two arms he wields serrated scimitars. The creature speaks gibberish, a string of ominous sounding words without syntax endlessly: "Kill, die, maim, hurt, tear, slay, eat, devour, shred, harm..."

The second of the large spiders has an expression more akin to sorrow, its face locked in the extreme expression as blood drips from its eyes. "You killed mother? Then we should feed upon you." in his arms he appears to hold a staff.

Both leap from their mothers back onto vertical webs, holding on as their mother's gargantuan corpse begins to plummet, crashing through (1d2)[2] horizontal web platforms.

The horizontal web on which Liselle and Zombie stand is destroyed, they fall, though when they attempt to grab onto webs on the way down, they find it's impossible to do, as if the webs don't exist. They plummet 70ft both taking (7d6)[22] damage and become Slowed for the encounter. Liselle loses consciousness upon her impact with the ground.

"...someone else gets to climb this time," Liselle notes, slowly staggering back to her feet. She doesn't look terribly stable, but she's not a dead target anymore.

Admittedly, that won't make much of a difference if the latest brood are as interested in spamming Magic Missiles at her as the last one was...

    Spoiler

Since Liselle's slowed, standing up is her entire action for the round. She's not a good enough tumbler to do it as a free action.

She is, however, good enough to roll for the effective fall distance reduction:

Orchid can't help but grimace at comment in guilt. "...I'm sorry it has to be this way, but this can't be my grave. I have my own that I've been surviving to seek! Glitterdust!" Orchid shouts, throwing golden dust toward the entire family of spiders.

Orchid summons more of her mystic energy, channeling the arcane forces of the universe. With a strange word and gesture golden glitter explodes into existence surrounding the arachnid foes.

Thanquil's arrows come whistling through the cloud of glitter. One collides with the web structure, careening off course. The next the Sword prince deflects with one of its serrated scimitars, though one finds your enemy's flesh. The arrow embeds itself into the aberration, though its gibberish continues unabashed as ichor bubbles up from the wound.

Solstafir's harpoon flies towards the Sword Prince,

    Reflex save DC 18 (1d20+10)[21]

Liselle staggers to her feet, reinvigorated by Thanquil's spell as yet more energy comes from Orchid's aura.

The Staff Prince raises his staff "To me!" he commands. Immediately, all of the Tiny Spiders move into his space, swarming onto his body. "All are to be food for the Spider Queen. Even you, little ones."

He aims his staff at the party. "Now Go!"

Three of the blinded tiny spiders move onto the edge of the staff as mystic energy crackles as it moves from the other tiny spiders into the Staff Prince and flows towards his staff, exploding outward and launching the three tiny spiders. They fly with unerring accuracy toward the party.

This is dark magic, it's a modified version of Lahm's Finger Darts (BoVD) sacrificing spiders instead of fingers/strength. At least this means he has a limited supply.

The tiny spiders burst into venom as they collide with their targets: Orchid, Solstafir, and Thanquil.
    Orchid takes (1d4)[4] Dexterity damage.
    Solstafir takes (1d4)[2]-3 Dexterity damage.
    Thanquil takes (1d4)[1] Dexterity damage.

Thanquil takes (1d4+1)[5] damage and Fort DC 10 (1d20+9)[23] vs 1 dex damage.

As the magical projectiles rain down, the Sword Prince blinks out of existence, instantly appearing on the stone platform with the party in melee range. The creature bites and swings its weapons wildly as it appears from the teleportation effect.

Ooh, a swordsman to fight this time! It was actually quite tempting to draw her Scimitar and Kukri and go dual-blade for dual-blade... But she was more accurate with the greatsword, and way too injured to attempt a duel. Especially against one so... ah, 'motivated'.

Abruptly attacked by the gibbering arachnid monstrosity, the group springs into action.

Liselle feels like the air is as thick as butter, but she presses through bringing to bear her Shadow Blade Technique. The creature maneuvers its serrated scimitar to parry only to find Liselle's blade cutting into its flesh.

Orchid sweeps her scythe against the arachnid, the first swing bouncing awkwardly off of its incredibly tough carapace. The second leaving a shallow cut.

Solstafir brings his axe to bear cutting deep into the creature.

The Sword Prince appears to be very near death from the many wounds it has received.

Thanquil conjures a cloud of mist to obscure the party from the Staff Prince's sight.

"Clever morsels. Brother, return to us!" the Staff Prince says, his voice dripping with figurative venom, consuming 4 more spiders. As the mists swirl around the group you see foul magic invigorate the Sword Prince, healing him for (4d8+20)[30]. His sight may be obscured by the mist, but he appears to be able to target his ally none the less.

    Spoiler: Spellcraft ranks

It appears the Staff Prince cast Cure Light Wounds four times at once, having seen his magics twice now you realize they are some kind of strange kind of Spider Magic, not necessarily Arcane or Divine. He appears to be able to overcome issues like range, targeting using it to benefit his companion, but not able to overcome those obstacles against the non-arachnid party, thus you're safe from the Darts within the Obscuring Mist.

His staff is the key to the powers, if you could disarm him of it somehow, you may be able to use the Spider Magic against him.

The Sword Prince retaliates against Solstafir, focusing on the partially obscured dwarf in effort to kill the thing that hurt it most.

A mighty blow cut deeply into the sturdy dwarf, but the pain only helped fuel his furious strength. With a hiss he expelled the air from his lungs and focused his mind to draw the fire from his blood out into the world. The spark of his hizagkuur ax ignited and clad the blade in a hungry aura of flame, eager to consume their arachnid foe. "This is where you die, spiderling!" His arm became a blur of motion almost impossible for the eye to follow, leaving swirls of white mist in its wake as it cuts through the haze of Thanquil's spell.
