Default An Amy's Paper Chase OOC

Greetings An Amy, and welcome back to the world of Call of Cthulhu, a world of horror, mystery, and wonder. Here you shall take on the role of an intrepid Investigator of the Unknown (or Investigator for short), while I shall be the Keeper of Arcane Lore (or the Keeper).

Now that you've understood the basic rules and themeatic aspects of the game, having played the introductory adventure. Prepare to journey onto your first freeform scenario -- Paper Chase! This is a mystery set in 1921 where you are the main character. For the purposes of guiding you, I may very rarely make small notes at the bottom of my posts, but these will be far more rare than before, so I hope you're prepared to think for yourself!

Anyway, without further ado, tuck yourself in, grab a bowl of popcorn, and join the In-Character!

Is she entirely in the ragged state she was in earlier? Has she had any chance to like visit a washroom and spend some time wetting her hair at least. She must be an absolutely awful sight.

Also, is the effect of "was this a dream" just part of the process of moving between adventures, a psychological defense against something so horrid OR was it an effect of the village and such?

For the first question, you've probably done your best to freshen up, but that most certainly does not mean you look in presentable condition.

For the second, it's more a psychological defense. If you believe that your character would not have conducted themselves in such a manner this is editable, it's more just my interpretation of how one would try and bury a traumatic experience.
