Swimming is acrobatics. You could pack some flasks of oil in a water-proof manner fairly easily; do you have oil? If not you could easily get some in town for 1sp per pint.

Thankfully I have some oil (because I have a lamp.) But I guess I'd stil buy two additional pints. Time to post my daring plan.

Oh, what would the water-proofing cost? (I think like waxened leather or something but that is not anywhere in the books.)

A vial of oil with a stopper should already be waterproof. Otherwise the oil would leak out. You'll need a way to keep your tinderbox dry unless it already has a wax seal.

So I did not read ANY of your posts yet and im really in over my head now. Care to explain in simple terms (currently amidst something like a triple shift broken apart by a 2 hours break and 6 hours of sleep tonight)

Oh sorry, I just didn't wanted to write stuff double.

Basically Shun wants to sneak to the boats of the bandits and set them afire with some oil, preferably at night. When the bandits come to the boats, your guys attack them on the flank while Shun (who was hidden in a boat) whacks them too so we get a kind of pincer attack. I just asked if oil and other stuff I need to set fire is water-proof that I can swim to the boats if it's necesarry.

I think we are all together now. So let's talk to the burgermeister and then go about town to find supplies and a ship to take us west along the coast.

I would say so. Honestly I feel any plan is fine but you have to remember that we cannot protect the town indefinitely and if they're somewhat organized, they will want revenge even if your plan is good.
