R4T24: Erasmus, seeing Tia badly wounded moves forward. Instead of using his last cure spell on her, he instead uses the "ounce of prevention" concept. He calls on his late sister, whose voice in turn is heard chanting a spell as his eyes glow and he touches Tia. Tia, in turn, is covered in a faint glow reminiscent of a spiraling trail.

The Flycatcher shakes his head when he realizes that he should have healed Tia. He pushes past his mistake and tries to swat away the green tiefling's weapon.

Swift action: activate Duelist's Gambit against the green tiefling. A successful disarm should recover all maneuvers besides Enduring Crane Strike and Blade of Breaking, and provoke an AOO from the Flycatcher.

R4T23: The Flycatcher shakes his head when he realizes that he should have healed Tia. He pushes past his mistake and tries to swat away the green tiefling's weapon. She tries to counter, and it was predictably too quick as Flycatcher's own blade plays ring around the pommel, causing her to twister her wrist out of alignment so a quick flick and a beat causes her to lose her weapon. He simply continues that motion but tracing upwards of her arm to stab her in the chest for 17, dropping her.

R4T19: The spectral mace blasts through Erasmus' spell to smash Tia's upper right arm for 9 force. The unknown tiefling some distance away moves up a few feet and casts a spell. Green tieflings wounds don't knit, but she is no longer freely bleeding, either.

R4T17: Meijen reaches to Tia and heals her of 3. "Tia," he says calmly, hoping not to offend her, "you need to pull back. Let someone else take the front."

R6T24: Erasmus steps into the greased area and slashes at the amber tiefling with his starknife, hitting it for mod 6. Unfortunately, his starknife gets stuck in the amber tiefling's body and he has to let his weapon go.

R6T23: Not seeing a good way past the amber tiefling, the Flycatcher steps forward and tries to skewer it, but the hard amber surface stops his blade (but doesn't stick).

R6T22: The amber tiefling acrobatically steps off the grease an avoids any counter from the two opposing him. He casts a spell at Erasmus. "This is not really your fight. You should leave." Erasmus scoffs at the attempted charm.

R6T19: The distant caster adjusts the ghostly mace to zoom to the head of the heroes' line and attack Erasmus (missing). He then moves in front of the amber tiefling and throws forth a bolt of fire at Erasmus (missing).

R6T17: The grease having done its job and no longer a help to the party, Meijen dismisses it.

R6T9: A tiefling (yellow) that was hiding towards the back comes out and shoots at Aldo, but slips on the dank floor and takes a chunk out of his own toe in doing so for 4.

R6T7: Another male tiefling pops out unseen (purple), but wasn't hiding very well and moved too slowly before everyone noticed him. He shoots at Erasmus with a still-serviceable shot that skims the Ustalavan man in the left elbow for 2.

R7T24: Erasmus takes out a set of bolas, whirls them, and tosses them at the apparent leader. It was a fine throw, all things considered, but Erasmus just couldn't account for Aldo and the chaos of combat as the bolas bounce off the tiefling caster's fine breastplate. Erasmus now has no weapons of his own.

R7T23: The Flycatcher lets loose a shout and steps forward to skewer the spellcaster, but that damned breastplate does its job again.

R7T22: The amber tiefling retreats partially around a corner to the southeast. He casts a spell, and a bolt of arcane force hits Flycatcher squarely for 4 force.

R7T19: The ghostly mace dematerializes, its energy having been spent, but its malice having been successful against Erasmus. "Allow The Dark Prince's servant Palaveen to show you the fires of Hell!" and with that he steps back, calls on Asmodueus in an unknown language, and the southern part of the tunnel is awash in flame.

R7T19 (Cont'd): Aldo was staring right at him when it happened, well, the him in dim light, and he knew something was coming down the pike, so he ducked low against the wall in time. The heat was blistering, searing even, but other than some carbon does little Aldo. Flycatcher, on the other hand, was trying to figure what the Asmodean cleric was about, thinking he was about to throw something targeted, so was surprised when he got hit fully for 14 fire! So squarely was Flycatcher hit, that it completely torched (as in "destroyed") his masterwork studded leather armor. As The Flycatcher gives a cough in trying to regain the oxygen that was sucked out of his lungs, Palaven gives a taunting laugh.

R7T17: Meijen, seeming somehow "more" than before, strides past Aldo. He points to his immediate southeast and says, "Hidden sniper!"

He tries concentating, guided by his ancestors, but now that he sees the enemis arrayed about as they are, his concentration falters and he loses his spell.

R7T16: The very sniper he called out tries to shoot the damnable elf from point blank, protected by the wall, but Meijen's chain shirt holds true against the bolt. She then backs out of that space.

R7T14: Tia, what do you do?

Tia continues to help Kavina with her armor.

As the blast of heat and light flood the camber, Kavina flinches back in alarm. “What in the 9 Hells was that?!”
She glances at Tia while she either 1) finishes donning her armor if it can be accomplished this round or 2) grabs her crossbow and runs to the corner to see what happened, armor akimbo.

R7T14: Tia continues to annoy Kavina by making moves to help with armor, but finding herself useless in the attempt.

R7T13: As the echoes of the blast of heat and light can be seen reflected on the opposite walls of the chamber, Kavina flinches back in alarm. “What in the 9 Hells was that?!”

She glances at Tia while she stops donning her armor, and is "entangled" because not only is the armor not donned hastily, but in this mid-point it restricts her movement, and she grabs her crossbow. She stumble-hops at half-speed to see down the corridor to the south ... some of her leather armor in her hands, some of it on the floor by Tia.

R7T12: Aldo, your dead attack is dismissed, having met its duration. You have two light mind blades manifested. What do you do?

Yellow Tiefling on deck, Dusha in the hole ...

R7T12: Aldo steps up next to the wounded Meijen, both mindblades ready. He focuses his guile against this particularly dangerous opponent while attacking with both weapons. He hits the tiefling in the abdomen. It is not a powerful blow, but it connects with a slam for 5, and then Aldo suddenly slides back to where he was before, gladly forgoing the second attack to let Flycatcher move in if he has a chance.

R7T9: Yellow tiefling reloads his crossbow and shoots at Aldo, missing.

The backdraft of the flames washes over Dusha, sending her many floating strands of fabric shrinking back sympathetically. Any thoughts of moving closer to help in the melee are immediately banished. As she watches her companion's various weapons bounce harmlessly off of what seems to be the head tieflings armor, she realizes there may be a tool in her kit that would help them take the Bastard down. The many floating strands surrounding her come together and, under her frantic direction, weave themselves into more and more rope. Only when she has a good ten feet does she lash out with her dagger and cut it free from her clothing.

Only when she has a good ten feet does she lash out with her dagger and cut it free from her clothing.

R7T7: Purple tiefling steps back, grabs a piece of rubble, and concentrates on it. He is then surrounded in a radius of inky blackness that Erasmus' sunrod cannot easily penetrate (dim light).

R8T24: Erasmus picks up a rapier off of a fallen tiefling, but otherwise keeps his position, not able to see well in the darkened area.

R8T23: Flycatcher, your encouraging roar has ended. Your vision is unimpeded. What do you do?
