    yeah I believe that works out fine, just your not a pc droid, and you might need to pay a base model cost in addition to the stuff for the droid, or take an existing droid and pay for it, then upgrade it using these numbers...

    The link should be public now, the R-91x Starfighter link is the base model, the fully upgraded one is in my main character sheet, the weapons do not change.

    Do weapons come with a power pack by default?

    I was figuring that we are putting the finishing touches on our character sheets and ships before we jumped into the IC channel.

    Also where is the group physically starting IC? In the local cantina outside our home base, on our fancy ship in orbit somewhere, dropped into the middle of a fight?

    well unless you want to purchase your own ship its a Predator-Class Starfighter
    or if you want the "Starhunter" needs another crew beyond myself and or my droid...

    Tfw I realized I only got speeder tank advice... Meh I probably can't afford an Airspeeder now, but I still need a bike. I'm assuming all already know each other?

    And how do you work out vehicle upgrades? I'm assuming only one from Tech Specialist plus a normal one?

    sort of.. but mostly its all about the EP each vehicle/ship has only so many take a system out it nets you X EP replace that with something better/bigger it takes EP - consult the charts for how much free EP you might have to begin with then look at the stuff you want to upgrade see what it's EP is then look at what you are replacing it with's EP.

    alternatively custom built has some of the same restrictions but less so on EP totals, what you run into how ever is cost - it is spendy.

    Vehicle modification rules can be found here.
    A standard, unmodified Starship design generally has 1 unspent Emplacement Point.

    If we assume we do know eavhother and I work on your stuff regularly, I could apply two tech specialist upgrades for 1.5 times the cost of a single bought one. Or three times the price of me applying a single one. I also have some starship designer feat, which I can add up to three upgrades from if vehicles function the same way.


    What's the best way to go about upgrading a droid?

    Gac3 - you know something I went looking - did you post your character sheet page 1 - or at all?

    I would say that Cora would definitely know (Gac3's Character) probably helped build the starhunter.
    and while she knows probably everyone and everyone probably knows her - she does not truly trust anyone else due to past history (backstory)

    Now that you mention it, I don't think I shared my character in this thread yet. Some of the stuff that I know I put on the sheet seems not to have saved. I'm going to have to look in the other thread and see if I can remember my character's name. Also I believe I need to pick like five languages.

    Hmm, not sure what Destiny to use... Perhaps Unleashed? Something about the approach of the game makes ot awkward for me to think of something. Perhaps its my character as well.

    Is there rule about layering armors?

    It is weapons and armor I am proficient in and vehicles/droids/equipment I am familiar with. Theoretically Pleco may be able to rule that if I build weapons I'm not proficient with and work with/on them
    Regularly, that it could apply.

    But assuming that I work regularly on all of our droids and vehicles, I should be able to do two upgrades for 3000 credits (or 30% of the base cost, whichever is greater). My weapons and armor are limited but I can give Superior tech to weapons.

    Are you proficient in Light armor, Blasters and Blaster Rifles? Cause that's what I'm using. I do need to figure out what I'm spending on upgrades if you can make them cheaper for me.

    I'm proficient with pistols and simple weapons. :/ none of my classes had much in the way of proficiency. Pleco never answered about replacing redundant feats with bonus feats, otherwise I would have gotten some more proficiencys.
