"That's quite alright. We'll get you out of here as soon as we can." says Yulbren reassuringly. Like Oakley, he scans the other passageways, and puts a finger to his lips to indicate for silence as he tries to strain his ears and see if there are any telltale signs of approach.

Oakley quietly puts her tools away and straps her shield back on. Drawing her short sword she watches Yulbren.
Oakley decides to assist him by going to the exit nearest the cage they were in, and listening down that way. She'll also look down the exit as well for like hallways, passageways, doors, etc.
