Default Spheres of Power - Nature Help

So i'm new to Spheres of Power as well as kind of new to pathfinder and i'm looking to make a Nature Sorcerer.

My original thought was to go Incantor/Human picking the Nature Talent and putting 2 or 3 talents in Fire and Earth.

Looking for suggestions on how to build this out. I was wanting to stick to mostly nature oriented things, and wasn't sure I needed any specializations.

    My Concerns:
Not being able to defend myself.. I see Earth Geo has Stoneskin for DR & Plant has Armor bonus, but is that my only defense? will that be enough?
This campaign is suppose to goto level 16 and i just want to plan ahead.

I have 3 fighters and possibly a cleric to work with my casters.

Is there anyway to boost my skills? Which talents or spheres would help?

    Thanks!

Pathfinder is generally considered to be a 3.X version of D&D (yes, even Pathfinder 2nd Edition). You will probably get better answers if you post your questions in the D&D 3e/3.5e/d20 sub-forum, rather than this one.

    Best of luck!
