It is absolutely a bribe!
Just one with a better marketing team that bans any direct relationship between the value of the bribe and the quality of the service, instead basing it off of the presumed value of the bribe.
June's not going to budge on that argument.

Seeing no charge yet on the account, June's worry has no chance to dissipate.

Well...being woken and dressed by a personal servant is obviously out of the question. They'll notice June's figure does not at all match what was advertised. Same with having someone bring breakfast, same issue.

Instead, she decides to just "go with the sleep-music" along with "an alarm or something to make sure I get up" early enough for preparing everything she'll need for the day, spa, and breakfast.

Well,
The bed's great enough that the meditative music is probably entirely unnecessary, she goes to sleep fast enough.

The music is relaxing, deep, pulsating. Not unlike the screens that come down to ensure the darkness in the room and to similarly pulse in sleep inducing patterns. It's all very hypnotic. Maybe a little too hypnotic. It's not entirely impossible that this is all some insidious plot to implant a code word or phrase in her subconscious mind while she's sleeping.

Nothing will actively interrupt her sleep though, other than the alarm in the morning.

That would be awful of them to take advantage of her like that and break her trust like that, but fortunately June's pretty sure hypnosis doesn't work like that, so there's no possible way they could do something so awful without her permission.

June gets up and...hopes the alarm's easy to turn off. She gets out of bed and tries to turn it off.

Okay! She's awake.
June checks her schedule that she wrote out.
Okay, going to be busy. Need...purse, outfit that includes a frilly skirt to hide tail and a wrap-hat that can hide both flowery hair and small horns, three potions for throughout the day and one before she leaves the room, cash on hand to buy jacket, plan out what transportation to take and schedule around potions running out....okay! Good. Now just a shower and a potion, and then she can go out. Oh, right! And the keycard, too.

She drinks the strong-variant potion.
Her figure fills out the clothes she puts on, her hair (now hidden in the wrap) grows small orange/red/yellow poinciana flowers and small horns, and...a tail, which she likewise hides.
...it also changes her thoughts a little, and makes her supernaturally more attractive to most people.

She goes into the elevator, and goes down to check if the spa's open yet (and if not, go get breakfast first).

It's as hard to turn off as it was to set.
So not very.

The Spa is indeed open and appears to be currently run by a pair of calicos. One catwoman and one catman at the counter who greet June's appearance most warmly. They seem to be almost mirrors of each other, with the female having a blue right eye and a green left eye and the male having a green right and a blue left. It's pretty obvious that they're close and probably directly related based on their similar movements and their comfortableness being so close to each other's personal space. And finishing each other's sentences.

"You must be our special VIP!"
"How can we help you?"

Oh!
A male calico.

June's first thought is about how incredibly rare that is, before thinking it might be different for catgirls. A male calico catgirl probably is much more common than a male calico cat, because it doesn't have to follow the same genes.

Or something.
Or maybe it really just is incredible chance. Plus it looks like they're twins, too, so. . .June wonders if....

June swallows, having been distracted by looking at and thinking about them. This is one of the reasons why she doesn't like the strong potion.

She averts her eyes and blinks rapidly.

"Um, so, thanks," June says.
"So, um, I was wondering what kind if services you do here, and things like how long it'll be and cost and stuff, because, um, I was hoping to see if I could get something done before I go get breakfast."

The two calico tails link around each other, in a small intimate twist as they smile invitingly at June.

"For the VIP, all our services are free! Take as long or as short as you would like. You're our first customer today." Most people wait until after breakfast and most catpeople wait until after dinner. That is if they aren't too busy with whatever business brought them to the hotel in the first place. She kind of has the place to herself at the moment.
"We offer aromatherapy, manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, steam baths, and full body massages."

Ugh, no! Don't make it more awkward!
June normally can't blush, but actually blushes right now.

"O-okay," she says. That's good to know that it's free, since she still hasn't figured out how much her bank account has been hurt yet.

"So...um...how about a half-body massage?" June suggests. A full-body massage does sound nice, but...tail. Sure, she knows everyone else here has tails, but June's just not quite comfortable with it yet. "Or, um, rather, a half-body and a facial?"

There's nothing more normal than twin catpeople interlocking their tails! June's the one blushing about it.

"Like just massaging your back and arms? That's not a problem." A little strange, but some people get hung up about feet and are uncomfortable with massages that go down that low.
"Do you have a preferred gender for your masseuse?"

Yes.
June's the one blushing about it.
All because being some partially-transformed nature-succubus kinda messes with her thought process, a little. Makes her see connections that are entirely in her mind.

When it wears off, she's going to regret everything she thought.

June nods.
Yeah, just waist-up.

"I would, um...prefer..."
She didn't think about this.
Impulse makes her say, "Both-" but then she quickly reconsiders and tries backtracking by saying "I mean, it'd be best with just one, right? Um, female, then."

The calicos' smiles widen a little and they look at each other, nodding.
"Both?"
"Both is good."

They come around the counter and offer their hands to June to take, one on each side of her.
"Right this way miss."
"We'll take good care of you."

If she takes their hands, she will be lead to a private room with carefully dimmed lighting, soft gentle music, and a heated massage bed to lie on.
"We'll step out. Take off as much as you're comfortable with."
"Then lie on the bed under the sheet, and we'll be back in momentarily."
If June has no questions or last minute protests, they'll leave her to her privacy.

"Yes, we can't waste any time! I will keep you under observation so I can help out if needed. But you should have everything you need now." She grins and gives him a two-fingered salute. "Calastra out." And so the drows face fades along with the rest of the vision.

And so Damon finds himself staring at Cerabella instead whose expression is just as unreadable as before. Her hawk-like eyes just staring back at him.

"I repeat, nearly all the energy of this body goes to fighting the curse. I cannot heal more than than I can fight at the moment. That said, we should return to the chariot. As I was about to said before this... benefactor of yours interrupted me, we have triumphed against the demon worshippers of this island and we will triumph over the curse too given time. Look."

The angel gestures into the distance where Damon can see a small group of (normal-sized) draachi soldiers heading towards them. "I shall have them make sure nothing escapes this cursed place while you will go to Ir-Vid-Sid and have him look at these 'gifts'. I will then return to the chariot myself and see if I can get rid of this curse."

If she even considers his request to carry the claw she chooses not to address it. Instead just gesturing in the direction of the chariot.

Damon lets out a sigh and goes to gather up both of the gubbins.

"Fine, fine, assss you sssay. I ssshall go and ssee what Ilpholin makesss of thesse." He turns and sets off at speed, shifting into the form of a quadrupedal demon to speed him on his way, heading back over to Ilpholin as fast as he can.

June was hoping they would say 'no, you're right, it's better with just one'.
They don't.
Now it's too late to protest, obviously, or say something different. She should've just been more firm in saying 'one'.

She bites her lip, and then takes their hands, following to the private room. "Okay. Thanks."

For reasons that she considers obvious, she keeps the bottoms on and the headwrap. Her face burns red as she recalls all the ways she's already made a fool of herself in just...a minute? two minutes? Ugh, they're probably both laughing out there at her about how embarrassing she is, or something.

After she's gone through all the reasons why she can never show her face here again and why she's glad she's only staying here for a few days, June suddenly thinks they might be coming back in soon.
She goes over to the sheet, and lies on her side under it.

They're professional spa workers. It is exceedingly unlikely they are being childish and laughing at anything that could be construed as embarrassing.

Indeed, when they come back in, they are probably more relaxed than June is. Though her posture is unusual for their customers. There's a moment where they stare before catching themselves and continuing.
"You'll want to lie on your front."
"Use the headrest right here."
They adjust it to an appropriate setting to maximize June's comfort as she repositions herself.

If she does that, they'll pull the sheet down just far enough to expose June's back, rub some lotion on their hands and begin to work. The catboy focuses on her back muscles, relaxing her first before going to work on those knots, while the catgirl spends time primarily on June's arms. They work in synch pretty well, always knowing when to swap sides to keep out of each other's way and matching each other well in pressure and intensity.

"Oh! Right. Um, sorry," June says, rolling to lie as instructed. She's actually never been to one of these professional places before, to be honest.

She lies there, relaxing.
Somehow, actually, she doesn't have many muscle knots.

Even so, she really enjoys the touch. Very nice, especially upper back.
She bites her lip to avoid making any awkward noises, even though she's sure they're probably professional enough that they probably have already had patients(¿is that the right word? wonders June) before that were awkward.

Well, anyway.
Massage.
Feels nice.

How strange. She had seemed so tense up until now so the cattwins were sure she had a lot of knots. Really never can tell until you're working them out they guess.

They've certainly heard worse from their patients/clients/customers. Some people have no filter.
They appreciate those who do.

June can maybe hear but more likely feel a gentle purring sensation being woven into their technique. Something they've found to be very effective at relaxing their customers/patients/clients as it draws out some level of somatic healing properties to disperse the build-up of bad body toxins.

Basically it feels really nice.

When her half-hour is up, they'll stop and roll up the sheet, gently covering June again with all the care of some maternal figure. They'll lightly whisper.
"Take your time getting up."
"When you're ready step out and down the hall to the left for your facial."
They will carefully exit the room so as not to disturb June.

Purring is pretty relaxing, June finds.
Plus, she reminds herself, it apparently triggers an increase in bone density which is especially helpful for lots of people. Someone in a relationship with a catgirl might...
Oh wait, that's the sound of June's train of thought being derailed and the rerailed.

Well, anyway.
Just lying there for longer seems nice, but June's afraid that if she does, she'll just go back to sleep and that could get weird if they come back in and she's still here...

She forces herself up, and gets ready to leave the room.
Well! That actually went pretty amazingly. A lot better than she was expecting.

After that it's...to the left? Yeah, it was to the left.
She steps out to the hall, goes that way, and then left.

June will find an area with several recliner chairs all distinctly partitioned off, specifically designed for the various other treatments the spa offers, including a facial. June is asked if she has a particular preference or any allergies they should be aware of before getting started.

"Cactus?"
"Clay?"
"Cucumber?"
"Steam?"

Probably even more options than those discovered via wikipedia.

If June had just taken her time, would they have just been waiting in here for forever?
She's glad she didn't take too long.

She goes in.

And shakes her head. "No allergies," she says, figuring it's better to tell the truth than to make up a joke allergy that probably wouldn't even be funny.

"And I don't know. Um...you two seem pretty good at this, so I'll go with whatever you like the best."

It's actually very uncommon for someone to take more than a few minutes to come out and join them. Most customers have the same reaction as June did, not wanting to keep anyone waiting or afraid they'll fall asleep if they linger on the heated bed any longer.

"Very well."
"Take a seat."

Once June is properly situated, they'll rub a face mask over her, telling her all about how it improves skin quality and reduces aging signs and makes one more refreshed. Sure, the effects used to be temporary, but this is the techno-magical day and age of the Nexus. It's still temporary, it just lasts a whole lot longer than a week or two.

After fifteen minutes, they'll peel the mask off and show June off in a mirror. June should look and feel a few (two to five) years younger and brighter for the next three months. Of course, that's for normal people. It might be a little different for June's unique physiology in conjunction with the a succu-potion. Or maybe it works exactly as intended.

June sits.

She thinks this face mask thing sounds pretty fantastical, but then realizes that, compared to a potion that basically changes who you are, it's not really that fantasy-like. She considers nodding or saying something, but also figures that it might mess up whatever they're doing to her face so she stops herself from doing that.

Actually, looking in the mirror, June is pretty amazed at how much younger it makes her look. Not just two to five, actually, but the effects of the potion ended up synergizing with it and making her look significantly younger than that...nearly a decade younger, so she looks like a college kid again. "Wow, that's really effective," she says. Also her chest is a bit smaller but that's hardly noticeable at the moment and it's still larger than she'd like so. Possibly there's a few other things but there's no way June would be able to notice them until the potion wears off in a few hours. "Makes me wonder how it works, but the answer's probably going to be some high-tech magic stuff that I wouldn't understand."

If it seems like that's it, she gets up, because...well, she's hungry. And while under the effects of this potion, being hungry is making it increasingly harder to stop looking at and thinking about the lips of the two really cute male and female catgirls here. Heck, she can even smell that her hair's giving off attraction-pheromones, leaking through her headwrap, supposedly to make it 'easier'.
June bites her lip and figures she needs to get out of here quickly and eat before someone does something they'd later regret. "So, um, is that it?"

June isn't the only one amazed. Both of the calicocats are pretty surprised at how well it worked! They don't even attempt to hide it either.

"You look amazing I must say."
"You must have some sort of affinity for that. No one's ever looked better."
"Except me you mean."
"Of course..."

It's good he clarified that. They once again offer their hands to June and help her up, flanking her closely on each side, enough to feel their body heat as they lead her back to the front.
"That's it!"
"We hope you have a wonderful day!"

They look at each other once June is out of their arms and back at the front of the spa. They don't even have to nod before looking back at June, their tails entwining with each other's once more.
"And now that you're no longer our customer,"
"We hope it's not too forward of us,"
"But we would love it if you could have dinner with us tonight."
"As a date."

The fact that feeling someone else's body heat feels so good is not something June's going to publicly admit.
"Oh, thanks," she says.


In front of the spa, and possibly partially influenced by the strength of the potion, June immediately says, "Oh, of course."
She then thinks: but wait. Today's already going to pretty busy. Maybe she could rearrange some things? "Um, I'm going to be out all of today, so..." June bites her lip. So the most important question when scheduling a date: "what time?" And, thinking back at her wardrobe, does she have any date-clothes or does she need to buy some of that when she goes out to get a jacket, too? "Should be easy to make time."

No hesitation at all! The calicocats look quite pleased.

"We get off at three today so anytime after four is fine with us."
"We don't work tomorrow so we can stay up late if we want."
"As long as we want."
"As long as you want."

Fairly flexible options there. June should be able to find some time in that schedule, surely.

Ilpholin considers this for a moment, her steely gaze never leaving Tammy. Honestly, Tammy was probably telling the truth. It was the smart move to make anyways. But people who cavort with demons in the first place aren't exactly the brightest.

The Phyrexian leans down until Tammy can feel the heat of her breath as she glares face to face with the goblin as she whispers. "If I find out you're lying, the hell you visit after I'm finished will be a relief to the hell I carve into you here." She gives Tammy just a moment to amend her statement or commit to her story before Ilpholin straightens up and backs away, seemingly satisfied with the answer. Unless said answer was something rude or a headbutt or something. Then she isn't satisfied in the slightest!

Tammy gulps audiably as ilpholin leans in so close and then nods eagerly as the nymph straightens back up. "Y-yeah, you got it boss-miss. No lies from me. Never ever, you got all my honesty." She smiles a wide nervous smile.

This would be around the time Damon is making his way back to the 'chariot'. The draachi recognizing him and keeps pushing in the gnolls into the ship.

Not that long ago, June had decided she should date some people so...

Well, it's the first time she's ever been on a date with two people at once. Might be incredibly awkward, like some iind of third wheel. Oh,.shoot, she should have thought of that before agreeing. Too late to say anything.

"One of my plans today is to go on an Adam's Estate tour and I don't know how long it would be or how far that is, so...I ought to be back around five.".

Definitely earlier for a date is better, because it's when dates go late that things can get dangerous.

Well, if that's it, then...breakfast? And clothing shopping. Jacket and also fretting about how formal of a date it is and then realizing that she didn't bring anything appropriate for that level of formality.

"We'll say six then so you don't feel rushed." Give her some wiggle room. These tourist things always take longer than people think. Plus that is rush hour so she may be caught in traffic on the way back.

"We'll meet you in the front lobby."

After confirming that, they won't hold June up any longer. She is free to finally collect something to eat and get some new clothes. She may have trouble finding clothes that don't have a hole in them designed specifically for tails though. Which would be fine if she didn't mind showing off hers. Alas.

Well all of Tammy's honesty is quite a commitment. Thankfully for her, Ilpholin doesn't linger on the goblin. She turns back to Ir-Vid-Sid. "There you have it. Let's get to the hatch."

She's barely three steps off the ship when Damon rolls into view as a demon. Ilpholin's arms are already turning into heavy spiked weapons before she recognizes the truth of the matter. She narrows her eyes slightly at him, turning one of her arms back, though letting the other one linger. "Damon. What brings you here? We were just on our way to you." She hadn't been gone that long.

Oh! That's a good point. Don't want to feel rushed.

June commits that to memory: six, front lobby. Okay. Got it!

Eating is fun.
Shopping is exciting. Unfortunately, she already has time-constraints and can't spend forever trying to decide what to wear. She ends up getting a nice-looking leather jacket that she could wear normally when necessary and tie around the waist otherwise, one of the frilly shirts that's almost the length of a really short dress, and nice-looking pants (that have a hole for a tail). She figures the jacket and shirt-dress could make up for the fact that the hole would show that she has a tail that's not sticking through it. The jacket gets worn around her waist, and the other clothes are nicely put into her purse.

She then finds transportation to Adam's Estate (and makes sure to dose up before the first runs out. It's probably bad to take a second, weaker, one before the first wears off, but it's not like she has the privacy to wait for that to happen).

June continues to garner looks and attention, being one of the most exotic persons around. A genuine not-catperson in a catperson world. She might even get asked out a few more times by the time she gets to the tour bus if she leaves herself too open for the opportunity.

The ride itself is not particularly exciting, but it does get her to where she wants to go. In this case a manor outside of town that makes June's VIP suite look like it's on an economy budget. Golden gates open to let the bus in and a rolling green lawn is littered with youthful catpeople playing or lounging in the sun. They're much less dressed than the ones coming in from Catside, reminiscent of the butler June first encountered in Riverside.

When the tourists are let out of their vehicle, they are directed to follow the friendly tour guide, a female norwegian forest catgirl. It would be a good way to get information, but if June was feeling mischievous or adventurous, she could attempt to sneak away from the group as a whole and perform a personal self-tour.

Oh right, demon transformations are going to make people a bit leery, aren't they? A pity most of the more useful forms he's gained have been from killing and eating demons.

If only a nice friendly angel or dragon would let him eat them.

He shifts back and waves the bucket and claw at Ilpholin. "Our giftss. Ahead of ssschedule." He answers with a shrug.

Unfortunately, June has to turn down all the date offers: she doesn't have enough time and eventually has to walk faster and more closed-off to not be late for the bus.

June has to stop looking out the window due to how they're all dressed. Maybe she was wrong about that butler secretly being a stripper and that's just a lot more normal here.

She gets out and adjusts herself a little to make her tail more comfortable, and then goes towards the tour guide. She feels it's best to follow the acutal guide, especially at first, because she doesn't know pretty much anything about here – only what she could see online when looking up the tour. Sure, might be fun to go around asking all the catgirls already here but since they're all dressed like that butler catgirl guy, June feels like it would probably be less effective than hanging out with the actual tourguide.
