Default 2nd edition books from dmsguild, are they worth it?

Hi, I just wanted to ask anyone who might have experience purchasing 2nd edition books from dmsguild.
Do you get a pdf in which you can search the text?
Are the scans good enough that you can get high resolution quality maps?

    Best regards,

You might want to ask this in an AD&D forum, there will be more 2nd edition players there.

I get my AD&D 2nd edition books off Amazon and eBay so unfortunately I have no idea how good any DMsGuild 2nd edition books are.

The Mod Ogre: Moved it over

The ones I've bought off DriveThruRPG have been fully searchable.

Depends. Read the comments carefully. Some are awesome, some are terrible scans (Jakandor, I'm looking at you.) Some are missing graphic elements like cards or maps. Use the sample feature.

I'll have to look at the quality of the Birthright stuff.. I'm a little disappointed that the last few Birthright releases (like the Book of Regency) haven't made it to drivethru or DMs guild yet
