Castle Frosthand II

(Continuing Draken's Mystical Emporium, but I decided to change the name and drop the comercial thing.)

Castle Frosthand! Located at the border of the woods, facing the town, a place of wonders and dread, of dire beauty and sheer magnificence.

Before you, travaler, stands (normally) a gigantic building that deeply resembles an hydra, with twelve towers whose minarets seen to be made on the semblance of the heads of dragons.

The great main door is open to all who visit, but do not try to teleport inside or go past the walls, because you will fail if you lack the proper authorization. Past the great door you meet a vast hall with a fountain in the center, huge metalic statues adorning ths sides and some doors here and there, at the end of the hall lies a great staircase with vast double doors at the point were they divide themselves and follow shared paths up to the next level. This door leads to Draken's office, and you will not enter without him except in special circunstances.

Othe interesting areas include one of the most complete libraries in the Town, with infinite subjects, many of them totally incomprehemsible to all but the wiser or the insaner; A grove to the back of the blace, the St. Frosthand hospital (weird huh?) dozens of empty rooms for guests, and other, everchanging features.

Indeed, everchanging, for Castle Frosthand is not just a static building, it is alive, and not in the figurative way, it is REALLY alive, part of a greater creature that encompasses worlds.

And he is your host, with these simple words that you shall hear upon entering.

Welcome! To Castle Frosthand. How may I aid you today?

Oh, yes, if you are lost, just ask a statue (An Iron Golem) it will lead you the way.

Mortessa smiles and waits to hear the song.

Raril leans on the Cello he's summoned for a moment, then mutters a few more spells, summoning a Viola and its bow, which hang in the air beside him, ready to play

Tyl applauds Raril and Az' Aniquiraj as they play. He's apparently a Classical Music lover.

Raril continues to play music into the night, slipping into deadtime as he does.

[Katonta]

As the music continues, Tyl, Alina, and Sylvia all deadtime.

Thalof, the Fat Magician, smiles and taps his foot in time to the music as the piece progresses

Moose just smiles upon hearing that Lillith had taken his surname.

Rest assured, Joanna overheard it and smiles too, a very rare reaction from her.

BB realizes that his character's presents haven't been done. He taps blackout on the shoulder and points at them.

One pile has a nameplate saying "Moose", and the other "Lilith".

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok realizes he hasn't given anything either, and hands over a pie, that had been teleported over from the AMEN base's kitchen.

[Draken]

Still a bit embarassed, Draken walks out of the floor, sees the pie, and uses Remove Curse, Remove Disease, Remove Poison and nearly every "Remove" spell possible, followed by Superb Dispelling.

Can't be too cautious with these.

The Fat Magician keeps on eating, while carefully observing what everyone else is doing.

A pair of good luck charms, hand carved from some type of wood, appear with the gifts, a note read: from Estran, meanwhile, pommy (hopefully) reaches the top of the giant

And Ispen goes off to the buffet line. He was hoping that he would be able to converse more with the newlyweds but *Sombody's* workplace had become a regular madhouse... Well, there was the after- The fourth wall clobbered Ispen and he was knocked back into a chair in such a way that it would be indistinguishable from regular sitting. Terumitsu took up a seat aside him, merely drinking in the festivites. And Nights had just finished it's eight bunch of sugered marshmallow cakes.

BB realizes that his character's presents haven't been done. He taps blackout on the shoulder and points at them.

Moose leads Lillith over to the piles, and digs in his own, wondering what the in-laws got him.

Magtok realizes he hasn't given anything either, and hands over a pie, that had been teleported over from the AMEN base's kitchen.

The pie is levitated over and inspected carefully.

Lillith follows, and carefully unwraps her own gift.

Raril wakes from his musical deadtime with a loud *pop* as his spells end and his instruments dissapear. The Drow cracks his knuckles. "I really have to stop doing that."

Pommy looks down from her spot on top of the golem

Mortessa looks over curiously, feeling bad for not having a present.
Maybe she could whip something up very quickly?
She tries not to picture what their reaction would be if she gave them skeletal servants...

Raril wanders back towards Mortessa's table, wiggling his fingers to try and put some feeling back into them. As he gets closer he stops worrying about his hands and turns his attention to the woman. "Did you enjoy the music?" The Drow asks with a smile.

Mortessa smiles at Raril.
I did. You're very talented.

[Lord Magtok]

The pie is levitated over and inspected carefully.

There's no pie left to inspect at this point, as Draken removed everything the pie had been made with. All that is left is an empty pie tin.

Meanwhile, Magtok is trying to think of a believeable excuse for his giving a Castaras pie, one that doesn't involve murdering the two.

His smile broadens. "Thank you." The bard glances around the castle, taking in the spectacle that magic built. "I may not be able to design magical creations like this castle, but I can weave a tune as well as anyone. Some may see it as a lesser art, but I would challenge any mage to try and write a symphony."

((Whoops, wrong kitchen?))

[blackout]

Moose chucks the pie tin that it came in towards Magtok. Jerk. You gave us one of those messed-up AMEN pies, didn't you?

I know I wouldn't be able to do it.
Mortessa looks at the castle.
I wouldn't be able to make this castle either.

Lillith can't help but giggle at the remains of the pie.

Raril shoots Magtok another warning glance.

Then they both deadtime.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok is hit in the chest with it, and mutters a profanity.

Perhaps. But if I had known about the wedding earlier than I had, and wasn't busy with more important stuff, I would've had time to check to see if it was a Cassie pie or a regular pie.

[blackout]

Crickets chirp. .....Uh-huh.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok pauses for a moment, holding his hand over the pie tin. Moments later, a perfectly safe pie is teleported to the tin. He hands it over, and returns to drinking.

Next time, I won't make the same mistake.

Whether his mistake was bringing the dangerous pie, or letting them check the dangerous pie isn't entirely clear.
