One of the engineers puts up some crude cameras pointing at the box with the hovercraft within, remembering tales of blastglass interfering with photography. She'll check the cameras occasionally, to make sure the film is intact. If the thick deck plating isn't enough to block the radiation, she'll tell her superiors and the hovercraft will probably be jettisoned.

In the meanwhile, the Mayor and his Steering Committee have decided to keep on exploring this area. It does seem dangerous, but they aren't yet convinced that it's more than just that one island that poses such a significant radiation risk. And the Old Tech they've found is really valuable; if they can figure it out- without dying, which is quite important- then they'd potentially have an edge over their competitors, their prey and most importantly of all, any larger predator-rafts that may lurk in this frigid waters.

    Oh!

    It's a wereshark. Sharkini? Or maybe a shark-selkie? Sharkie?
That would make some sense, then.

Awen does her best to stay afloat.
Wearing much more clothes than the bikini-clad shark selkie (or whatever she is), it's a bit harder.

"...snake-god?" she asks, not really sure if one of the holy symbols she keeps is for a snake-god. "I-I don't..." She gets water in her mouth and coughs. She rolls to her back to stay afloat the best she can. "That doesn't matter. L-listen, there was a flying bear, you didn't see where it went, did you?" she asks. "It might still be sinking with that thing, so could you see if you can help it?" Flying bears obviously can't swim.

Blanche will opt to open the door and attempt to take a shot at the ravens without leaning out. If that's not possible from the vantage, she'll instead opt to strike the butt of the gobbo-rifle against the cockpit's windshield, attempting to break it so she can have a clear shot without risking tumbling out of the copter. Should that prove fruitless, she'll swap to her pistol and take a few shots at the creatures through the glass; the catgirl doesn't know just how the rifle works, and isn't keen on ruining the copter via some unforseen effect of the weapon's ammunition against the glass.

That is, Laz is slammed head first into the hull of the demonic ship. Good thing she was shielded and wore that helmet or that impact would likely have made her into one of those stereotypical brainless zombies.

Geneva did manage to get her on top of the ship so she doesn't just slide off the ship like a toon character. Instead she finds herself laying on top of the ship in front of a gentle slope in its exterior which she just crashed into.
The ship is seemingly dormant, just ominously floating there next to the air-ship. There's no signs of weapons or magic being worked on the black cold surface. The only thing she can see is herself being reflected in the surface of whatever weird metal the ship was made up of.
Well there's clearly nothing worth doing up here on the exterior of the enemy ship, so Laz gets back on her feet, and sets to work looking for an entrance, or failing that, making an entrance. If she hits it hard enough in a soft spot somewhere, something should break, right? Just need to find a vent or a panel or a...I don't know, something. While she's doing that, Laz bites down on the inside of her cheek until she can taste blood. If there were witnesses or allies to worry about getting caught in the crossfire, that would be one thing, but she's on her own now. The blood will help keep her body hungry and focused. Ugly instincts and uglier powers she's never needed or wanted before might become vital for her survival here.

The radioactive residue on the machine is not strong enough to penetrate the metal though they would still have to purge it somehow eventually. None the less, they can keep salvaging the technology they find on the bottom but there are other things there that don't fit in with the rest.
A spear made of a strange black metal that looks like it's been made for a giant and a large idol representing some kind of serpentine monster.
But just as they've made their findings their spotters will see three large ships approaching at the horizon. They will attempt to contact the scavangers by radio but I'm unsure if they have such advanced technology onboard.

    Moonwell: Meowverick

The windscreen are made of hard plastic so it will take more than a couple of tries to bash that windscreen. She will quickly realize that it would be possible to completely remove it as soon as it starts to bulge open but there are two factors here.

    1. It will likely take a little while and a lot of effort.
    2. It would leave her completely exposed to the wind which isn't ideal while you're trying to aim. If she had some kind of protective glasses or somesuch it would work better.

But if she instead opts for leaning out and shooting she will still have problem number 2 to deal with.
However, while blasting in the wind like that won't hit the ravens they are at the very least forced to do a evading manuver as they're pretty big targets. So at the very least she have slowed them down.

"Yeah! Since you have snakes for hair!" Anika exclaims and seems to want to give further context until she sees that Awen have some trouble staying afloat and moves into a better position herself. Trying to have a discussion in a ocean sure was annoying.
"We should, um-" Then she suddenly giggles as Awen mentions the flying bear. "Oh, don't worry about that dude. I was the flying bear! I'm a druid, I can turn into all sorts of things. I came to save you." There's a pause as she looks up at what is making that loud chopping sound above.

Oh, it was a flying machine. Or spinning machine rather, she had no idea you could spin so fast that you took off. But speaking of flying...
"Um, can you fly? Since we probably need to get to the ship." And maybe help the flying machine out too. Looked like it was going to be in trouble!

    Laz in Lichbusting Adventures!

While Laz can only look around a few seconds before she's interrupted she will find something of interest. It's no vent or other opening but symbols resembling eyes carved all over the so otherwise perfect surface of the vessle, shortly followed by a strange feeling of being watched.
What's possibly is cutting her search are two events.

    1. First, the monolith ship starts to move underneath her.
    2. Secondly, a moment later there's a loud thud nearby, sounding like metal hitting metal.

If she turns in the direction of the sound she will see that monolith ship have started to slowly back off from the VIGIL skyship and that one of the metal pit fiends have jumped onboard it. Either forced off the skyship by the adventurers or returning for some other reason.

    Firebolt!

The horror begins shrieking and flailing as the air is filled with the smell of fish BBQ. It isn't doing so hot now, but it's still standing. It screeches and beats at itself to put out the flames, pausing momentarily, and then lunges toward Sekhmet with its awful, grimy talons out-stretched.

    And speaking of their leader...

The awful vaguely horse-shoe crab-like horror is still coming her way.

It doesn't appear to be as fast as the zombies are.

Or maybe it just isn't in a hurry? Going to let its minions wear down Sekhmet a bit first before it moves in.

Either way, she's going to have to figure out what to do about that monster in a few minutes.

    Meanwhile!

"A-alright. Follow us," one of the cultists say, motioning our heroes follow them to the back of the chamber. They reach around at the carvings of horrid marine beasts until the find the right spot and-!

"This way," they say as they slip into the black.

    [Geneva Floats with VIGIL!]

~Pinky?~ Geneva sends back, a hint of amusement in her mental voice. But she doesn't have time to pause! She zips forward, another azure orb steadily growing between her paws! And then with a mighty shout of "Mew!" she lobs it at the construct! As before the projectile goes whizzing toward them like a guided missile and should it strike it'll detonate in a conical blast of stone shattering, steel rending force.

Geneva is making sure to both advice whilst keeping her distance. She's a small target, and bobbing around in the air erratically makes it pretty difficult to get a fix on her for counter-attacks.

    Hopefully Laz is doing okay...

Awen is pretty thankful for the assistance in staying afloat.

"O-oh. Um. Thanks." For saving her. And for being a flying bear. "Congratulations on being a bear."

Awen's face is going a little flush from the...pain? It's very distracting for her. Luckily, Anika reminds her that, yeah, they can't just stay here in the water. "Fly? What's...R-right. The ship. Yes. I...I can fly." Her hair - the part that's not snakes but instead is just normal hair - slithers down her shirt and pulls out a silver amulet - no doubt glowing because of these demons around. Then, it reaches inside of the amulet as if it were a portal to somewhere, and starts pulling out a...broom handle. "Sorry...it's...it's...really hard to think straight right now."

Once the full broom is pulled out of the silver, she holds it next to her and...rises out of the water. She doesn't need to sit on it, or hold tight onto it, or whatever - the simple fact of touching it is letting her fly. "Okay...I'm good." Once out of the water, she tries to reposition it so at least it looks like she's sidesaddling the broom.

The idol is clearly some ancient god, but without knowing who or what it represents, it's basically just dead weight. That spear, on the other hand, is more interesting. None of the ship's metallurgists and engineers recognise the metal, which in their mind makes it Old-Tech.

As for the radio, Beverly-in-Hull does in fact have one. They have several, in fact, including a homing beacon used to help guide travelling merchants and air-traders to the city to sell their wares and buy from the aquatic town. They turn towards the other ships, though a little cautiously- they're in strange waters, and a long way away yet. Those could be prey on the horizon, or they could be predators. Beverly-in-Hull is not primarily a scavenger-town; it's an urbivore, attracted to the explosion because they thought they'd encounter true scavenger-towns here, ones recently glutted on the wreckage and unable to escape.

    Marlick Bay

Benedict draws a symbol in white light which hovers by his shoulder, glowing gently as he follows the others into the darkened tunnel. He keeps his hand on the enchanted sword and is ready for... not quite anything, but certainly an ambush. He'll try to keep an eye on the rear, as well, since he doesn't want to be attacked by surprise because something followed them into the tunnel whilst he was prepared to defend against an attack from the front.

Very true, Anchor. Trusting the cultists isn't required at all. How often are deranged cultists trustworthy, anyway?

    Not that often at all.

"It's the next floor down," says one of the cultists. "It leads to the chapel where the high priest will be. Just... please don't kill everyone, alright? The high priest is the only who insisted everyone worship the saint."

Sounds like they don't want their whole village to get slaughtered.

    That's understandable?

"It's right through here," the other cultist says, further down the dark passage and a winding flight of stairs. "There's another secret entrance attached to the chapel. Just follow the sound of the chanting."

Sure enough, our heroes can hear the sound of eerie chanting echoing up from the gloom. "We'll just... we'll just get out of here, okay?"

Will our heroes allow the pair of cultists to go free?

    Meanwhile!

The awful ghoulish fish monster may manage to gash Sekhmet with its claws, but otherwise the second wave of flames is enough to finish it off. Sekhmet flees toward the church! She will, of course, find that all of her allies are nowhere to be found. No doubt they went down that flight of soapstone stairs into the darkness below.

She could try looking for them.

    OR!

She could try to ambush the larger monster slowly coming her way. The one holding one of the relics.

They still call out to her.

    Make us whole again.

Just inside the doorway, Sekhmet pauses, catching her breath. Her hand brushes the tear in her shirt where she narrowly avoided those claws... And comes away wet, red blood coating her red skin. Looks like she didn't avoid them after all. Noticing the injury, of course, means she also suddenly notices the pain, and she stumbles the rest of the way into the church, gritting her teeth to keep from crying out. Is there anything around here that she can bandage herself with? She looks around for any sort of usable fabric.

Oh great, a big metal *******. Nothing even remotely edible there. Not that consuming demons is generally considered a very good idea anyway, but I mean, you know...Anyway, Saint Lazarus tightens her grip on her sword and narrows her eyes. Can't see a damned thing with this stupid helmet on, though, so she rips it off and tosses it into the sea below. Helmets aren't that expensive, and she's sure VIGIL will compensate her for it later.

"Hey f***face!" she calls out to the pit fiend, minding her footing as she waits for it to notice her. With her helmet discarded, it's now plain to see that the bird that bloodied her earlier has completely ruined the left side of her face. I really doubt she can see anything at all with that eye, but on a more positive note, her teeth are significantly sharper than they were a few minutes ago, and the whites of her eyes have all but vanished, replaced by a murky dark red.

"Yeah, I'm talking to you! Open the door or I'm smashing a hole in the roof with your corpse," she promises, sounding exceptionally confident in her ability to do exactly that, in spite of the blatantly obvious difference in size between herself and the massive metal fiend.

"Alright." Zophiel doesn't see any reason to stay and question them or force them to follow along or anything else. (There is, of course, the problem that if they go back they might encounter Sekhmet or whatever and could hurt her, but these two cultists don't know where she is - and probably don't even know what she's doing - and she has probably gotten to safety by now.) He immediately goes through the path and down the way and through the gloom. He hopes most of the people are more human than mutant fish-monster.

He tries to do it in such a way that he'll be able to see what's going on in the chanting-room chapel before the villagers notice somebody's watching them.

Benedict might not have to imagine a world in which nobody trusts him.

He watches the two wannabe cultists as they run off. He'd consider putting them to sleep or killing them, but there's nowhere to hide the bodies. Letting them run might alert others to their presence down here, but anything coming along behind them will find evidence of the fight in the chapel anyway. Letting them go shouldn't do much harm.

He'll follow behind Zophiel, taking the safer middle spot in the group with his hand on his sword drawn and hand ready to draw a symbol, should it be needed.

If nobody trusts you, and it's because you're really untrustworthy, maybe that's a problem for you to work on, not something solved with more trust.

Anchor looks the two apparently unwilling cultists over again.

    Laz in Lichbusting Adventures!

The demon turns in her direction. The glowing blue orbs that make up its eyes flaring up the moment it spots her.

It speaks a word, likely an insult, and then heads towards her. It isn't charging exactly but it's close. Its eyes watching her movements closely as it approaches, keeping it's two large swords lowered to its sides for now. It seems to be expecting her to attack it up-front.

    Headed to the Crystal Pinnacle

In that case, someone is trying to hail them on several different frequencies. "This is the IIS Seawitch of the dynasty navy. You people are trespassing on a highly restricted area! But if you just stay where you are we will help and escort you out of here." If they have any experience with the goblins in the region, or even just heard rumors about them, they stake a claim to many parts of seaside. IIS meaning "Ithiki-Ithiki Ship" and the dynasty navy being the official military force of the goblin nation.

Of course, they might not know any of this.

As for the spear, it's actually highly magical and almost impossible to destroy. In addition, it's unnaturally sharp while it's being held by someone intending to use it to harm, being able to pierce just about anything. That's only the abilities that they might easily find however. It has more hidden qualities too.

    [Moonwell of Madness]

"Thanks, it's pretty sweet!" Anika feels like she have the time to exchange despite the dire circumstances. "But yeah. The ship doesn't even have wings or a giant bladder, still it flies." Her eyes follows Awen's hand down her shirt as the mage(?) pulls out her silver amulet.
Seeing a tiny portal in there, Anika is pretty sure she can put an exclamation point to that mage question. Especially, when Awen pulls out a broom. "Oh, wow! I've seen those! Don't worry about being confused, Awen. I'm often confused yet I can still tell that you'll do just fine." The druid grins confidentally as Awen starts to float out of the water.
"Let me just go shark for a moment and we'll fly together..."
In the same flashy green flash, Anika have turned back into a helpful shark which quickly submerges.

But just a moment later she comes leaping out of the water again and for a brief moment she's a leaping sharp until with another green flash she's a huge flying hawk that moves alongside Awen.

    [Geneva Floats with VIGIL!]

The pit fiends are forced back by the explosion. One of them ending up completely blocking off the entrance to the lower decks as it staggers backwards.
While they are indeed made of metal their reaction to Geneva's barrage looks more akin to a creature made of flesh. They close and cover their glowing eyes with their arms. Even grunting in what sounds like pain as the force makes sizeable dents in their hide.
Following her attack, the adventurers sizes the moment to get their own in. Blasting the two creatures with everything they got. "Don' giv 'em mercy!" The fireheaded dwarf shouts as she plants her shield in the metal demons face.

However, as this occurs there is a loud voice calling from the deck below and it's speaking in that demonic language no one else seem capable of understanding.
But then a second voice calls out, this one using a very understandable language. "BOMB! THEY PLANTED A BOMB! OHMYGOD!"

They have not heard of any of this. Their floating town hasn't been in the Nexus long, and they aren't likely to have stopped- or even gotten to close to- any of the large cities in Seaside, for fear that they are hungry urbivores for with Beverly-in-Hull would be a tasty snack.

There is a response over the radio, however. "This is Glynn Bowen, the Mayor of Beverly-in-Hull. How is this area restricted? We haven't traversed these waters before, and are lost." The town doesn't actually stop, however. It slows down, but stopping dead is not something Beverly-in-Hull is capable of- they have no anchors, since they are relatively small and may have to flee an approaching predator-raft. The engines have slowed, however, and the water-wheels are being put into reverse.

The engineers are keeping their eye on the engines and mechanical parts; they don't know anything about this ISS Seawitch, and the Mayor has yet to decide if the goblin vessel is prey or not.

Hovering above the water, Awen watches Anika.

"...Yeah. Yeah, okay." It's nice to know that this bear-shark-lady is so confident. Confidence is something Awen's always wanted to have, so she admires it when people have such extreme confidence.

Once Anika is a bird, Awen starts using the broom to fly upward in the direction of all the other flying things. Her legs limply dangle down and the 'pain' makes her blush...she looks up at the demons. None of them appeared to really care about healing but if she could just find one that's a magical healer, she's pretty sure she could siphon away its healing magic. But all the demons that have appeared so far are just bruisers and brutes and...random flying things.

"Y-you have a plan to take down the ship, then?" she asks, shouting so Anika could hear as they fly. Since, looking up at the overhead battle, Awen really realizes that if the battle continues as it is, VIGIL will be getting worn out and worn away little by little. And, besides, they still have no idea why the demons all decided to appear and do this plan, so it's probably some sort of distraction, or...
Regardless, they really need a game-changer. Without a paradigm shift, Awen thinks the battle might as well be called 'the demons have already won'. "I don't know about you, but I'd probably be most helpful on the demons' ship." Since so much of her magic (at least, the useful ones that can be used for attacking since so much of it involves corpses, undead, mental suggestions, or sleeping people) causes collateral damage.

Titania gives a nod of her ant-ish head when the gnoll pokes his head out. "Certainly." She reiterates before looking up at the sky. "Though, I do ask what that is, before we continue. If it is some sort of disaster headed our way, I do not recognize it." TTN admits, gesturing at the purple cloud above. "Though if you do not recognize it either, then I recommend we seek cover regardless as you tell us what is going on with your...aunt, was it?"

Things really start to hurt when the adrenaline wears off.

There's a white cloth draped over the alter at the front of the church. It looks a little dusty and Sekhmet would have to shove some religious paraphernalia off to get it, but that's certainly an option. But she had best act quickly because-

"You have what I want," comes an awful, gurgling voice from outside the church, steadily drawing closer. "Give the relics to me without struggle and I will give the mercy of a clean death,"

    Geeze.

That doesn't sound like that great of a deal, does it? Lay down and die or fight back and maybe not die. The pelagic nightmare will arrive in the church soon. Sekhmet probably has time to bandage her arm and possibly hide. Or maybe just grab the cloth and bandage her arm while hiding? Whatever she does, she had best choose her course of action quickly.

    Meanwhile!

Into the mysterious chanting room! Thankfully the chanting is pretty loud such that it disguises the sound of the secret door sliding open. There's also a curtain on the other side obscuring the secret door that our heroes can peek through.

    On the other side?

About half a dozen cultists kneeling on the floor in front of a statue of the Saint. On a raised dais before them stands an alter and the fellow who must be the high priest. His robes are way fancier. And his body looks to be made completely out of reddish sponge with the occasional tentacle protruding from one of the holes. That probably explains why he doesn't go out in public much.

There's quite a bit of chanting and our heroes remain as yet unseen.

[Geneva in KEEP TALKING AND NO ONE EXPLODES]

    Oh no.

Defusing bombs isn't exactly Geneva's specialty and she suddenly finds herself wishing that her old friend Dawn Break were here. Dawn would probably be able to defuse the bomb. Or... make it blow something other than their ship up. Probably about a fifty fifty chance there. But Dawn isn't here. Which means Geneva will have to do something about it.

She reaches out with her mind toward those below deck, ~Do we have anyone who can defuse the bomb? Or get them off the ship?~ she sends. While speaking she hovers toward the lower deck entrance, lobbing another chakra missile at the metallic demons. She needs to get them out of the way-

-or blast a hole through the deck to make her own entrance.

She can't teleport without line of sight and the stupid demons are blocking her view.

Sekhmet hastily grabs the cloth and wraps it around herself, wincing as it applies pressure to her wound. She actually can't hear the threatening voice (thanks, Benedict) but crawls under a pew to hide and adjust her makeshift bandage. The white cloth already is showing a few red stains.

Saint Lazarus holds her arms out wide, daring the beast to charge. She gives her zweihander a twirl, fluidly transitioning from a boastful flourish to a defensive stance a moment later, one that Calm Reed had taught her. She can't just rush in and get swatted off the ship, she has to wait for an opening. Best way to get an opening is to goad the monster into attacking first, to let it think one swift strike is all it'll take to smash this cocky, overconfident green human to bits.

As the fiend closes the distance between them it chooses to simply charge the last few meters and just perform a brutal slash aimed to cut the ghoul-knight in half.

Like it was noted earlier, the demonic golem is utilizing a rare fighting technique, dual-wielding. This would seem impractical but it almost seem to be able to handle each weapon with much better ease than any human-like opponent that it might just have been made for it.
It's technique is aggressive, counting on it's opponent to be taken aback by it as it's metal hide would simply deflect even the most powerful of attacks.

[Geneva in KEEP TALKING AND NO ONE EXPLODES]

The adventures are a bit preoccupied with the fiends to really stop and consider Geneva's question. That is until the demonic voice coming from the lower deck of the ship shouts what must have been a command considering what happens next.

The two fiends that Geneva and the other VIGIL members have been barraging with constant attacks are in a pretty bad condition at this point. But that doesn't stop them from suddenly retreat back in the direction that the adventurers have been trying to push them, off the ship.
Then they simply take a step over the railing and then plummet into the ocean far below.
Looks like they were suddenly very eager to get off the ship.

"...gotta be a magic bomb." A suggestion is put forward by a adventure of the golem(?) variety as soon as they have shifted from one immediate danger to another. "I'd have to look at it but it's probably easier to just throw it off."

Now all attention is turned to Geneva, she being a psudedo-commander of sort in this situation. She certainly had the most power of them and were presumably extremely intelligent. They had heard all about her anti-teleportation system.
Some look eager to rush down to the lower deck while others appear to consider to evacuate the ship completely. Though the question is how they'd even do that.

Then there is the lizardman that suspected lichiness was involved on the demons part. "Hey! Their ship is leaving!"
He gestures to the right and sure enough, the demon ship that rammed them have already put about four meters between them now. Furthermore, they can see that Laz is still on board, fighting one of the metal fiends.

    [Moonwell of Catgirls]

If Awen wants to siphon anything off the demons, she could always try the two golems that just fell off the VIGIL-ship. She'd better hurry though!
The only other visible demons now are two raven demons heading towards the little helicopter (and its catgirl occupant) and the one fighting the VIGIL member on top the demonic ship which have started to move.

Anika, who doesn't seem to be able to talk in her hawk form, is heading towards the large raven demons though as soon as that catgirl calls out for them.

Blanche can see Anika heading straight towards the demons as she flies past the mini-helicopter. However, she doesn't get far when one of the ravens are getting hit by a huge rocket-shaped projectile fired from the goblins ship.

It seems that when the two demons were diving towards Blanche they also got in range of the goblins guns. "Yeah! Take that ****ers!" They can hear Sylv, the goblin commander, shout in the distance as more projectiles are fired.
The second raven attempts to flee but it's too late as it's barraged with other projectiles.
With the final flying demons shot down, Blanche, Anika and Awen will be able to land on the VIGIL skyship safely. Of course, considering the panic on board the question is if they want to land or instead head straight towards the demon ship. Blanche won't have a choice of course as the helicopter is programmed to land there. But she could always hitch a ride on Awen's broom perhaps.

    Headed to the Crystal Pinnacle

There is a pause on the other end.

"This entire site is radiated after a bomb went off here. It's like... magic. Bad magic. You don't want to be near it. Makes you sick and eventually dead. This entire site is essentially a test site for weapons like that." The ships doesn't stop their approach but they're still quite far away.

    Operation Seaslug

"Aunt, yes!" The young gnoll exclaims happily.
But what TTN have said appears to have made him curious and he looks past her out in the street. "Oh, that's a gate spell! Cool! Haven't you guys seen one before? Since it's still unstable. Will take at least ten minutes before it opens." No one else on the street seems to understand what it is though...

Suddenly he is taking out a book from his backpack which he presses into Will's hands. "Turn to page 276!"

The book is titled Demonology for Kids! with a illustration of a young gnoll and human conjuring a child-friendly version of a pit fiend from a summoning circle. The book promises "over 150 types of demons and more than 200 spells for kids of all ages!"
But sure enough, if Will turns to that page they get to see an illustration of almost exactly what they're seeing in the sky right now, though this one has a cartoon pit fiend sticking its head out of the 'gate' and is much more solid than what they're seeing. It looks less like a cloud and more like an actual gate. "See?"

    Approaching the Crystal Pinnacle

The mention of 'magic' is taken less seriously than the threat of radiation. "Thank you for letting us know. Do you have any charts of this region you could trade us? We have some spare engine parts, plenty of fish oil-based fuel and a hydroponic garden. We also have charts of our own, of the Northern Ice down to the tip of Africa. Are these... Old-Tech bombs common?" They must be, if they're being detonated purely to test them, right? That's a worry, a pretty big one.

Off the radio, orders are given that the town they are talking to is not prey at the current time. The engineers remain pretty alert, however. Just because the ISS Seawitch isn't prey doesn't make it not a predator, and they don't even know how big it is yet.

Zophiel peers around the curtain, to get a feel for what's going on. As much as he just wants to run in and stop it in order to get the call stopped as soon as possible, it might actually be faster to first spend the time figuring out what's going on and doing a rudimentary plan.

He grips the spear in one hand, held vertically to keep it from sticking out so much. So there's less than ten total in here which probably means there's others somewhere else...maybe if he hurls the spear from here, he could assassinate the high priest in a single strike? But the spear also might be very helpful and leaving it across the room behind enemy lines could go wrong pretty quickly, especially if they can use it against them or try to get rid of it - since they'll need it in case this Saint shows up. Besides, as the others mentioned earlier, killing him could end up creating some sort of sacrificial offering.

    He turns to discuss plans.

"So we need to first focus on that priest guy, right?" he suggests in a whisper.

    [Moonwell of Catgirls]

Awen, unable to immediately find a healer, decides to just quickly siphon magic from the nearest golem that she can. After a quick spell involving blood loss, she starts to siphon magic from it - hoping it has at least some healing capability to help her. If it can't, well...siphoning magic is always useful regardless of its type or source, so at least she'll still get that.

    . . .

After that, she just continues broom-flying to the skyship but even when she gets up there she doesn't land.

Mostly, she's hoping for a plan and what to do next because she has no idea. "So, how'll we take that down? What next?"

"Yes. Disrupt the chanting, try not to kill. I've got a silencing spell that should deal with the priest, but if any of you have other ideas it would probably be beneficial to have multiple avenues of neutralising them." Particularly since Benedict's magic isn't very strong, and if the priest is getting power from the ritual it might not work. "It'll take a moment for the symbol to be complete, and it might give our position away." Benedict starts sketching a shape in the air before him in green light. It's quite obvious, however, and when complete it will spin and shoot forwards to bind the priest's voice to its body, so any words it tries to speak are unable to leave its mouth and make themselves heard.

Unless it's disrupted early, the spell won't activate this post, but will next post.

Anchor nods at what the other two suggested. The priest is the most important thing here, they don't want to accidentally help the saint, and they should go soon.
She waves her shadow to creep along the left wall of the room.
"I don't know that I can manage much more magic. I'll see what I can do to deal with the other cultists."
She gets ready to burst through the curtain as soon as Benedict finishes his symbol or the cultists notice them, whichever comes first.
