Like it was noted earlier, the demonic golem is utilizing a rare fighting technique, dual-wielding. This would seem impractical but it almost seem to be able to handle each weapon with much better ease than any human-like opponent that it might just have been made for it.
It's technique is aggressive, counting on it's opponent to be taken aback by it as it's metal hide would simply deflect even the most powerful of attacks.

Saint Lazarus waits until very nearly the last possible moment, and then charges towards the demonic golem herself, pivoting away from the slash as she lunges forward so that she's too close for the creature to take a swing. Momentum carries her forward, and her armor-plated shoulder should smash into the steel anathema, colliding with approximately the same kind of force you'd expect from the average sedan on an open highway.

[Geneva in KEEP TALKING AND NO ONE EXPLODES]

    Alright.

It sounds like the answer to her question is 'no'.

She can work with that, at least.

Step one: Limit the possibility of collateral damage as much as possible.

~I'll try to get rid of the bomb. Are there any lifeboats or escape pods? Everyone get ready to evacuate if this goes poorly,~ she broadcasts to every mind she can feel within her reach onboard.

Step two: Mitigate danger to herself.

Her form pixilates as she de-rezes and splits in two, the halves resolving into two Genevas. Geneva One goes zipping down below deck while Geneva Two remains above to help organize the crew.

~Whoever's near the bomb, think at me. I'll find you,~ Geneva One sends. Assuming someone does so, she should be arriving at the bomb shortly. That leads to-

    Step three: Assess the threat.

Let's find out what she's dealing with...

    [Marlick Bay]

Threatening villain speeches are way less intimidating when you can't hear them.

"I will peel off your skin and grind your bones," the horror gurgles as it stomps into the church, antenna waving to pick up Sekhmet's scent. "You will beg for death and find no release. With the power I rend from you I will turn back time and let you relive your demise until I grow bored of your screams."

Unlike the horror's threats, Sekhmet CAN hear the relic of Motion calling out to her from within the monster. It must have absorbed it as she had with the relic of Time. Getting it back should be simple enough.

She'll just have to kill that awful thing before it kills her.

    It's that simple!

    Meanwhile!

The chanting is rising toward a crescendo as three more robed cultists emerge from a room of the side, dragging an-

    -elf?

Not like the sort of elves one would normally expect to find wandering around. Something about this particular elf is off. Too beautiful, too sublime, too fantastical. That beauty doesn't reach its eyes, though. They betray a level of capricious malice that's difficult to grasp. There isn't any fear in those eyes, just cold, aloof hatred. It is bound with iron chains, its flesh raw and burnt looking where they've been rubbing against it.

As the elf is pulled toward the alter the high priest draws a crude looking iron knife and then-!

He looks confused as suddenly no sound is coming out of his mouth. Those gathered are likewise puzzled, they've just been repeating whatever the priest was chanting. It takes the priest a moment to get over his surprise and spot our heroes, who he begins pointing at emphatically. It takes a moment more before anyone from the congregation looks toward the curtain and shouts, "Intruders! Desecraters! Kill them!"

Sekhmet shivers at the sight of that thing. She's still unaware of its threats, but that doesn't mean she's not terrified. She hunkers down in her hiding place and begins reaching for the power of time again. Hopefully the timestream has recovered enough for her to use it again. She's not sure how she could stop that thing though. It's probably far stronger than she is.

Benedict comes in and saves the day! Saving that elf.

Zophiel also nods, "I could restrain some," and then adds, directed at Anchor, "If you need the spear, just say so-" Zophiel already has two swords, so he could easily toss it her way. While they don't have as much super-effect against these mutated cultists, they're still pretty dang effective against most anything just due to their momentum.

Around the same time that Anchor jumps out, Zophiel comes out as well. With his hand that wasn't holding the spear, he grabs from his belt that claw hammer that he borrowed from that mad cultist earlier.

He starts running towards the priests, trying to decide what actions fit their goals best: they need to restrain the cultists, he wants to get that elf away, and he needs to draw the attention of the majority of the cultists towards him instead of to Anchor or Benedict. And to avoid killing, of course.

In this case, the best thing to do right now is to throw the hammer: not at someone, but at some thing. So, the statue, or the altar. The altar is probably better made and is partially blocked by the high priest and others, so if he throws it at the altar there's a chance he'll miss. But if he throws it at the statue...that's almost sure to get them all focused on Zophiel.
    Statue it is, then.
He hurls the hammer, so it spins and flies at the statue. "Did nobody ever teach you to not murder people?" he shout-asks, since he was unable to come up with any better one-liners and he needs to say something to draw their attention to him.

[Geneva in KEEP TALKING AND NO ONE EXPLODES]

Geneva is pretty much putting words to what everyone were already thinking already at this point. The crew immediately starting to go for the flying lifeboats.

As this is happening Awen, Blanche and Anika (still a hawk) reaches the airship, something which will likely be missed by Geneva as she transports herself to the lower deck once she feels someone calling for her.

    HELP!

Here she will find a halfling dodging the repeated attacks from one of the fiends which seems to be guarding a large device that look similar to a tripod. It has been impaled straight into the hull of the ship and is glowing ominously in orange.
    "H-eydealwiththisplease!"

The fiend pauses for a moment and attempts to grab Geneva right out of the air.

But if she do take a moment to look around can see signs of battle everywhere with several VIGIL members laying lifeless on the floor. It looks like they somehow managed to take out one fiend though which is leaning against the wall with a large hole through its face.
The halfling and the second fiend appear to be the only survivors down here, at least at a brief glance.

    Moonwell: Meowverick and Megoosa

Awen would have limited success trying to drain the falling fiends of energy due to their make-up. But since they're badly damaged she does manage to drain some energy from them at least.

Assuming Blanche makes her offer once they reach the airship and not before (since it wouldn't be all that easy to get from the helicopter to the broom mid-air) it will be up to Awen if she'll have a catgirl along for the ride or not.
Perhaps she should request Blanche to dye her hair black first so it'll be a real witch-ride.

Either way, the people on board are looking rather panic-y as they have started to bring out the flying lifeboats.
"There's a bomb onboard the ship!" They're told by a friendly lizardman cowboy in all haste. "Pinky is trying to get rid off it while ghouli-er the saint is over there fighting demons!" He gestures at the demonic vessel which have slowly started to pick up speed and is quickly increasing the distance between the two ships.
It's still not too far away for the group to see Saint Laz sending one of the metal fiends flying however.

Anika have yet shifted out of her hawk form yet so all she can offer is a squak of advice.

    Operation Seaslug

The gnoll nods eagerly. "Yes, the bigger the gate, the larger what's coming through. I bet what's coming is gonna be real cool." A beat. "We probably shouldn't be too close to it though. Most demons that aren't like you are really dangerous." He reaches down into his backpack and picks out a pair of binoculars and gestures for them to follow. "Come one, I know a great spot for demon-watching. Just hold on to the book for me, OK?"

The gnoll pulls his backpack close with both hands and then darts off much faster than he should have been able to if he had still been carrying that giant book around. He's heading out the gate past the guard and it appears like he's going to run around the library to a hill overlooking it.

But if they do come along, they will find that he suddenly stops and turns towards them. "Hey, what kind of demon are you anyway? I don't remember seeing you in the books." He looks to Will. "Do you know? Since friendly demons like her are super-rare! Mom says only love can conquer them." Then he looks back to Titania, gears turning in his head as his eyes narrow in suspicion. "Are you girl- and boyfriend?"

    Stupid Bitch Ass Demon Mother****er

As the momentum transfers over the fiend is sent flying backwards several meters, dropping both its weapons in the process. Though that will likely hurt Laz too in the process considering the force she's using to bash into magically reinforced metal.

As the construct lands with a loud thud it becomes pretty clear that the demonic vessel was not made to be walked upon as its weight causes it to start tumbling over the edge of the relative flat surface the two have been standing on. Below that there is next to nothing stopping one from falling helplessly into the ocean as the only thing to get a grip on are those weird eye-carvings.
It looks stunned for a moment before it's battle instincts take the reins once more and it utters new words. These seem to have some kind of magical meaning as a blue energy fetter can be seen emerging from the smooth metal skin of the fiend and bind it to the obelisk ship.

If Laz comes closer it will attempt to use it's tail to swipe her away as it's trying to get up again.
By this point Lazarus might have noticed that there is now quite a distance between the two ships.

    Approaching the Crystal Pinnacle

"Trade with you? Pal, all goblins ain't merchants. Military, M-I-L-I-T-A-R-Y, that's what we are, okay? We make sure people don't go where they shouldn't be and you guys kinda are. We could probably hand over charts of places you can go as long you stop being around these parts." Is the response from the Seawitch.

By now it and the two ships following it are getting close. The escort ships are about the same size as a modern destroyer. Even their weapon systems are comparable which includes long-range missiles capable of targeting and destroying objects before they can even be seen. The Seawitch itself is much larger however and appears to be some kind of carrier ship. But instead of jets this one is made to carry flying war drones like the ones they've been fishing out the waters.

They will eventually halt their approach and they can see how green tiny people (goblins) in wargear in one of the destroyers are preparing to deploy into two military-class speed boats.

"We're going to send over some people to help so you ought to tell us exactly what you need in the way of equipment to get free. Going to bring some help for radiation sickness too if ya' need it, and pal, you're gonna need it."

After emerging from behind the tapestry, Benedict draws a white glyph in the air that when it is complete flares brightly and hopefully puts to sleep anyone that could see the front of it. Anyone behind Benedict should be safe, as the symbol has a distinct front and back and it's facing away from them. Likewise, anyone looking away from the symbol should be unaffected. Anyone who blinked whilst it flared should also be unaffected, as are anyone who is particularly either strong willed or well rested, and the sleep is entirely natural and can be awoken from as normal- light sleepers aren't sleeping any deeper than usual.

That does not, however, excuse the fact Benedict just used an indiscriminate magical effect without warning his allies.

    Approaching the Crystal Pinnacle

"I do not care how your towns make their living, with this... military. But everyone can benefit from trade, even if you are not merchants." Their homeworld does have military organisations; the Anti-Traction League has several military bodies, but their air fleets are their main defence. The Green Storm and Tracktionstadtsgesellschaft are both organised along military lines, but Beverly-in-Hull sails a long way from the front line, where each scavenger town, urbivore and motorised hamlet has its own law and the closest thing to a soldier is either a sky-pirate, an armed policeman, or an outland wanderer.

Beverly-in-Hull is a large vessel, with enough space for nearly a thousand people to live and work- it's about the size of a large luxury cruise ship, though the design is different. It's probably bigger than the destroyers, but doesn't carry any visible weaponry, save a few large cannon on the upper decks that appear to be primarily for anti-aircraft purposes, though the goblins might notice the town's prow is designed to hinge open in four directions, the sides widening out as a ramp is lowered into the sea and part of the upper deck moves upwards.

It seems trying to drain magic from them was mostly a waste. Awen makes a mental note that in the future there's little point in trying.

Sitting side-saddle on the broom - now hands-free, with only some lengthened hair apparently holding onto the broom - Awen reaches the ship and responds to Blanche. "I-I don't mind," she says. "Just make sure you hold on." She slides herself forward - or, more accurately, slides the broom back beneath her.

She lowers the broom close enough to the airship to allow Blanche to hop on.

There's no question in Awen's mind that she'll be more useful over on the enemy's ship, so she informs the lizardman cowboy of that and flies the broom (presumably with Blanche) over to the enemy ship.

Looks like Benedict was right about the sacrificing.

In those two moments it takes the congregation to figure out what's going on, Anchor has come out from behind the curtain, into the right half of the altar-room, to stab her own long spear at the high priest. It tries not to hurt normal people, but he seems pretty far gone.

Hit or miss, she lets go the spear shaft and points at the elf, speaking a sharp word that ought to cause the iron chains to crack and split. Also probably other breakable objects in the close vicinity of the elf. It's not a discriminate spell. And that's it; not another drop of wizardry from her.

She's already out in front of Benedict and facing away when the sleep magic goes off, and just sees a flash of white from over her shoulder.

Meanwhile, her shadow lunges at the leftmost cultist's shadow, trying to grab hold of it and drag them back into the far corner of the room.
Of course, we've seen that the Saint doesn't approve of such impossibilities. Who knows what it will actually accomplish.

The monster knows where Sekhmet is.

    Approximately.

    But approximately is probably enough.

The thing waves a limb in her general direction and she will feel reality shift. Objects that were once at rest quite suddenly aren't. They're hurtling through the air and smashing into the walls and stained glass windows of the church. Shards of glittering glass spray outward, thankfully. If the windows had blasted in Sekhmet might have been lacerated. As it stands she just has to contend with the whirling storm of furniture.

The relic of Time, meanwhile, stands ready.

Sekhmet has all the time in the world.

What shall she do with it?

    Meanwhile!

A whole bunch of things happen at once.

A flash of light, several slumbering cultists, one fellow pulled away into the corner by a shadow, a statue hit with a hammer, an elf freed, and a high priest stabbed with a spear.

The priest manages to twist away in a fashion that looks wholly inhuman. More like an octopus contorting itself around an object than anything natural. Still silenced and with a look of absolute rage, he lashes out at Anchor with the iron dagger. The dagger in question isn't magical or anything. Just about as sharp as a dagger made out of iron can be. It doesn't help much that it also makes a gesture at Anchor that will cause any wounds she receives to rot and fester at an astounding rate.

Several of the cultists rush at Zoph, more daggers in hand. They appear to have the intent of providing at least three hundred and fifty percent of an adults daily recommended dose of stabbing.

The elf, meanwhile, steps back and watches the chaos with a vaguely amused expression.

Sekhmet reaches out, and from her perspective, time slows to a crawl. Now she can casually step through the whirlwind as easily as stepping through a doorway. Limping a little, she points her wand at the monster and calls forth a small ball of fire, firing it at the creature's face.

That's fine; she doesn't need that other ship anymore. What she does need is to get inside this one, and that's easier said than done, since there's no obvious entrances and it has very rudely refused to provide her with any kind of door or hatch or sensitive glass panels. She has a plan, though! It's not a very good plan, admittedly, since her zombie brain is too focused on murder death bite kill to come up with any complicated strategies, but it's a plan.

See, the fiend has access to the ship, and could open a door any time it wants, right? All she has to do is convince the demon that doing so is in its best interests. Maybe it'll open a hole under Lazarus's feet as part of an ill-conceived trap, maybe it'll try to flee into the ship to escape her wrath, or maybe it'll try to call in reinforcements to come up here and help it take her down. Eventually it's bound to make some kind of really bad decision like that, right? Laz just needs to keep hurting it until that moment happens. Swinging her huge sword down to try to pin the fiend's twitching, swiping tail to the ground seems like a good start. This little stunt might just chop the tail off instead, but hell, we can work with that too, right?

    Meanwhile!

Indiscriminately using wide-ranging magical effects without saying aloud what you're doing is just tactically sound - they're outnumbered and telling your allies will also give your enemies a chance to react.
Seeing how effective both indiscriminate magic things have been, Zophiel says, "Good job," but obviously doesn't turn around because there's still enemies that he needs to pay attention to.

The high priest looks fishy enough that the spear would instantly kill him. Which, because they're trying to avoid killing people for now because of the potential for sacrifice, is the reason he chooses to not use the spear against him. Plus, as was previously demonstrated, the spear is most effective after the enemy has already been hit a couple of times.

So, the paladin passes the spear over to his right hand, and then draws one of his massive swords - the blue one - with his other hand. With it turned so it acts more like a momentum-based club, he swings at the approaching cultists at a low sweep with the intention to bruise and smash legs, knock cultists over, and smash them into each other.
Especially the ones at the tail end of the swing, or who are slower and farther back, they could still get through and give him a dosage of stabbings. Fortunately, as a big guy, his daily recommended limit of stabbings is higher than most other people.

Benedict stands to one side and quickly sketches a symbol in red light at the charging cultists. It's the spell he's practised the most, and he can almost do it blindfolded. The symbol disintegrates into a blast of needles shooting towards the closest cultist. They won't penetrate far; not a killing blow on their own, and possibly not enough to penetrate clothes. But then the needles explode, and that might kill or cause other serious injury.

    Nothing unnatural about octopi.

Anchor quickly pulls the spear back a bit and twists it to block the cut of the knife with its haft.
"When this is over, you've got to teach me that silencing spell." she comments to Benedict.
She takes a couple steps back away from the priest - although this room isn't as big as she might like - and nods at her shadow, which is currently trying to drain the vigor and strength out of the cultist it's grabbed.

Blanche will hop onto Awen’s broom with some awkwardness, clearly having never ridden anything like it in her life before. To think some people use these as main modes of transportation! ”I can help with the demon guarding the bomb,” she’ll answer, swiftly hopping onto the ship.

    Kind of...

    Stops.

About three feet away from her.

Apparently it only remains in the accelerated frame over a pretty short distance?

That's useful information none the less.

Sekhmet can feel the fabric of time bunching up below her like basset hound jowls, but it doesn't seem to be getting dangerous just yet.

    Meanwhile!

Zoph piles into the still-standing cultists and begins clobbering! Considering that they're wearing robes and aren't particularly battle-hardened they really aren't doing that great. It doesn't take that much effort to avoid their wild knife-swinging but whether he does so or not is up to the paladin.

Benny's needles, on the other hand, are not nice.

    At all.

And in the places where they manage to penetrate into something vulnerable the damage is horrific. These are, after all, merely normal humans.

Interesting. Sekhmet launches another firebolt. Then another, until a small cloud of flaming projectiles has clustered just out of her reach...
Then she releases her grip on the timestream, allowing the swarm of flames to fly forward freely. Hopefully the sudden barrage will catch the monster off guard.

    Above the Moonwell

Anyone looking in the direction of the island, wherever it's from above deck or in the small windows below it, will see new developments at the moon well.

The dragon-head that they saw being taken there by the demons is now floating high enough above the well that they can see it all the way from here. Of course, they would probably not had been able to see it from such a distance if not for the fact that skeletal parts spontaneously appeared through the purple color manifesting above the well, slowly starting to form a complete dragon skeleton. It's hollow eyes lit now lit by orbs glowing with the very same purple light.

    Moonwell: Meowverick and Megoosa

As Blanche jumps down and runs down the stairs, it leaves Anika in a conundrum. Is she going to charge after Blanche or fly along with Awen? She knew that Geneva was super-powerful though and that Blanche along with the rest of the crew was more than capable. So she figures that they will have the ship-bomb situation handled.

Thus, she flies after Awen as to not leave the poor witch alone going up against the demon ship. Well, alone with the knight kicking that giant demons ass that is.

    Stupid Bitch Ass Demon Mother****er

She certainly seems to succeeding in making the demon more desperate. As its attempt to swipe away its significantly smaller opponent only resulted in getting a part of its tail chopped off it decides to go the way its comrades went and simply let go.
With its sheer weight and gravity being what it is, the metal fiend ends up dropping into the ocean well before the tail tip Laz just chopped off.
Perhaps it's hoping to be teleported out of the ocean after the fight is over?
Whatever the reasoning for its actions, Laz can see that there's reinforcements on the way in the form on Awen on a broom and large falcon with oddly colorful feathers of red and purple.

The falcon lands and immediately turns into a huge bear that starts running in Laz direction.
But before it can get far, it ends up tripping on what seems to have been an odd elevation in the otherwise smooth obelisk ship. Thankfully, it simply ends up falling flat on the ships surface rather than falling straight into the ocean.

[Geneva in KEEP TALKING AND NO ONE EXPLODES!]

There is a grunt as the metal demons eyes closes or more accurately go out for a moment as the construct is lacking in eyelids.
The halfling uses this opportunity to dart well outside its reach and starts taking out a strung together electronic contraption that should not have been able to fit in his little pockets. But as soon as he pulls it out his legs seem to give out right underneath him and the short man collapses out of what seems to be sheer exhaustion.
Meanwhile the guardian demon flails wildly about as if it had just gotten into spasms. The only really coherent motion its making is attempting to crush the barrier in its hands, though that might also be a fit. It's hard to tell as Geneva's psychic blast seems to have caused some sort of internal malfunction.

This is the scene Blanche runs in on. The halfling is laying on the floor near the stairs she came down from, still weakly holding up what she likely would recognize as a homemade bomb of some sort.

    Approaching the Crystal Pinnacle

It's considerably larger than the destroyers. Even larger than the battleships of old. Though there's a reason the new design have scaled back on size. Indeed, while the seawitch itself is larger than the destroyers it's not as large as a carrier ship as the drones need a lot less space to operate in compared to fighter and bomber jets.
But goblins of any species would know that size isn't everything.

"Don't worry about that, pal. We'll direct you to a place made for trade where you can knock yourself out doing it."

Meanwhile, the goblin speed boats are reaching the Beverly-in-Hull and positioning themselves on the sides of the ship. Careful about not getting too close. This up-close they can see that some of the little green-skinned people are wearing what they might recognize as diving gear while others now appear to have just been metal replicas of the goblins.
"Okay, sounds like the boys are there. They will need to know if there are any explosives or wiring, faulty or otherwise, near the hull. They're since they're going to send in drones, as in robots, to help you get out of there."

"Robots? Like Stalkers? Are you affiliated with the Green Storm and the Anti-Traction League?" The mayor's made some frantic movements and the town is doing things that are probably bad ideas in the long term. An alarm sounds and the citizens run around.Beverly-in-Hull opens its jaws, the ship's prow splitting open and yawning wide as it heads on a collision course for the nearest destroyer and speeds up. Inside, the jaws lead into the raft-town's Gut, water flowing in and out through a hatch that opens in the back; the town's turned from a monohull ship into a massive catamaran. Any ship captured by the jaws will have holding harpoons fired into it as security guards prepare to board.

"The citizens of Beverly-in-Hull were born free to roam this world and we shall die that way too." The radio connection is abruptly disconnected as the wheels speed up. The town's inhabitants are mostly running with purpose; manning the few anti-aircraft guns, some of which are being slowly cranked round ready to fire on the goblin vessels, though only two of the seven such guns have the ability to lower their arcs that low, one on each side of the town. They probably aren't going to be very effective; they're firing explosives propelled by steam redirected from the vessel's exhaust.

    Meanwhile! In free verse!

To be honest, the momentum of swinging such heavy swords makes it hard to avoid stray knife-attacks when you're being distracted by everything else happening.
Like, for example, being distracted by space tearing asunder and leaking tentacles all over the place. Tentacles trying to grab his daughter.

Zophiel takes a pause from swinging the sword, so that he can ready the spear.
"Hey!" he shouts out. He only has a moment to decide whether to throw the spear at the tentacles, or at the priest. Throwing it at one of those is the most efficient ways to get the spear over there so that Anchor can use it if she feels like it's necessary.
On the one hand, killing the priest is probably a bad idea.

On the other hand, Zophiel drops the heavy sword to get a more controlled throw.
He winds up, and hurls the spear right at the priest's back.

The priest ought to have learned not to summon tentacles to attack someone's daughter. Thou shalt not attack people's daughters with tentacles. That's, like, the seventh commandment or something. Maybe the sixth.

As Awen watches Blanche go off her broom,
she misses how important the dragon
    skeleton's significance is. It looms
in her mind, but it's just a distraction:

All she can do now is fly to the ship.
Chasing the falcon, riding her broom there,
she takes in the scene as she bites her lip.
Her legs broken, the witch can't leave the air.

"You alright? What do you need me to do?"
she calls out. Her hair tightens its grip on
the broom. "Better at support," she says, too.
Laz seems heroic; the witch will listen.

Awen begins to pierce her own skin, so
she can start to cast spells for her foes.

Saint Lazarus smells blood. Finally, her efforts pay off. She just needs to figure out how to unseat that witch and bite out her throat before she can chant any deadly incantations, maybe break her arms to make sure she doesn't cast anything with a particular hand motion, and then-

No. No. That's a fellow member of VIGIL. She's an ally, not food. Nobody's killing her for their next meal, that's not how VIGIL members operate. Focus on the mission, Lazarus. Your real target is inside the ship, remember? It's probably got loads of tasty flesh demons just waiting to be ripped apart, but more important than that, it definitely has a control console that will allow us to point it at the moonwell and obliterate that skeledragon before it dooms us all.

"I need to get inside this ship. Can you open a portal or cast some kind of gate or teleport me in? Turn me into a ghost for two seconds?" she asks the witch, volunteering a handful of ideas to make up for her own failure to trick the pit fiend into letting her in.

As the bear slowly starts to get on its feet the other two, or at least Laz, might realize what it literally just stumbled upon. It appears to be a hatch that melts so well into the hull of the ship it's impossible to spot from most angles. The fact it's pit-fiend sized would make you think it'd be easier to notice. But the way it bends and curves it's like an optical illusion just hidden there in plain sight.

It even have those creepy eye-carvings covering the rest of the ship.

    Heading Toward the Crystal Pinnacle

"No." There is a sudden hint of desperation in the voice now as it sounds like he realized he made a mistake. "We're not affiliated to anyone like tha-" Then the line is cut.

It takes a while for even the soldiers to realize what was even happening in response.
But these people have been trained to not be flabbergasted even in the face of the most fantastical of events. While was just happening probably topped the list of such events it still gave them some leeway. The ships start to back off, and the goblins on the speedboats take cover. But while the people on the speedboats manage do avoid any injury its far too late for the unlucky destroyer.

As the crew on board the ships still believed that Beverly-in-Hull was filled with civilians they're not even firing any responding salvos at them for the moment. The only response they can muster at the time is to charge up the drones of the seawitch.

Then the sea-bound town seem to ram in and seems to almost swallow the leftmost destroyer whole which makes the situation even more complicated.
"CEASE HOSTILE ACTIONS IMMEDIATELY!" The seawitch booms from all its speakers as the two other ships are trying to regroup and the soldiers onboard the speedboats still seem unsure what to do in a situation like this.

Onboard the nearly eaten destroyer the crew have managed to taken cover and aren't hit by the volley of harpoons aimed at their ship. They aren't firing back just yet, either to shocked or hesitant to do so just yet, but they had plenty of guns and explosives on board if it came down to it.

The other destroyer was getting ready to fire though, a well-aimed blast at the engines of the Beverly might just do the trick...

The harpoons aren't fired at the crew- they're fired at the ship, to hold it in place as engineers and security start boarding. Anyone holding a gun is likely to be shot by the security teams, though their weapons are primitive- each security officer is wearing a metal breastplate and helmet, and are armed primarily with shotguns, swords and a few mismatched rifles captured elsewhere. The engineers don't have the armour, but they carry heavy-duty tools; rivet guns, circular saws, massive hammers, powered shears, and are well-experienced with their use. Mostly they want to start dismantling the destroyer to recycle its parts. Any goblin that is captured will be disarmed and taken off to a holding pen elsewhere in Beverly-in-Hull's Gut.

Once the destroyer is inside the town, the Jaws shut and the town speeds up. They're heading straight ahead, the mayor trying to escape with his town without getting sunk or destroyed. The two steam guns, one on either side, fire at the other boats in the goblin fleet, propelling primarily incendiary and fragmentary bombs. They aren't especially accurate, relying primarily on rate of fire than accurate shops.

"I-I know a spell that could teleport us in, as long as I go along," she says. "It'll take a moment," and they'd have to both be right next to each other.

In preparation for the spell, the fangs in her hair's snakes ignite and a gas with the the smell of brimstone starts to leak out of their mouths.

Maybe, before the spell goes off and potentially gets wasted - since maybe they could use the spell to escape instead of to enter - Laz or the bear should inform the witch that they just potentially found a way in.

Titania points out, holding the book and shrugging while she follows along. "I don't know what sort of demon I am. I was a golem first, then...changed." She explains. Another look up at the Gate and she shudders visibly, disturbed at the sight. Whatever was coming through, she had a feeling she definitely didn't want to be involved. Not if most demons were like the mindless insects she had fought or were as insidious as her classic literature collection told her they were. "You don't have a middle name of Faust, do you?" She asks Will, taking a glance at him. "Just making sure."

As he speaks, he sketches another symbol in the air, sending a blast of more exploding needles into the tentacles and the space beyond the rift. He has no idea how effective they'll be, or if Anchor can do anything about it, but really somebody should do something about the priest-squid.

He has no idea how effective they'll be, or if Anchor can do anything about it, but really somebody should do something about the priest-squid.
Actually, the problem is attacking with tentacles coming through a rend in space. If you hold the tentacles yourself, then it's still honorable hand-to-tentacle combat.

Anyway, Anchor's shadow swaps places with Anchor. Just a wavering of the light, and then o9ne is standing where the other was, and vice versa.
It'll try to bring the slumping cultist along, drop him right in the path of the outstretched tentacles and then rush along the floor to the room's right wall.

From her new position, Anchor tries to jab the priest in the side with that spear.
"I think there's only one sacrifice they're waiting for." Meaning that useless not-elf over there.
