you'll get no sympathy from me, four or five are high numbers on this forum for this kind of thing in my experience. I just make do with playing multiple characters.

Just wishing you luck in hosting the new game, Rater. Might hang around, but not comfortable stepping IC until I can re-think a few things.

EDIT - I had been wanting to suggest a few things, but understand if that's unwelcome.

Slightly differentiating the type of movement achieved in step techniques. Not cahnging what they do, but giving them just that little bit of flavor.

Shunpo steps, as if walking.
Hirenkyaku slides along a path of spirit particles.
Sonido pounces, or maybe lunges?
Bringer light jumps, since it's based around kicking off of a surface by way of fullbring.

Just an (unoriginal) thought on the basic flavor of each.

Been thinking a lot about flavor. Mostly because I'm trying to avoid aiming too low on the power curve in future games. My scedule is free enough to post every day for the rest of quarantine (barring unexpected RL events), but unclear past that.

If I did step in, I'd like to try something similar to the dynamic seen in Kenpatchi and Yachiru, Starrk and Lilynette, and Masculine and James. But on a much smaller scale.

A spree killer is leaving bodies in strange locations through a city in a ritualized manner, leaving traumatized ghosts bound to the locations where their bodies were found.

The Maken is a logical extension of in-universe rules and logic created as a thing for later on. Maybe A PC gets it and tames it, maybe a big bad obtains its power, maybe it gets found by a random medium who becomes a monster of the week as they are compelled to feed until they themselves are devoured.

A vaguely nordic young man, tall, underweight, snaggletoothed. Definitely one to stand out, even if he didn't wear his blonde hair in a sort of neglected mullet.

The overall shape of Hrafngull's body is rather similar to an exaggerated weasel, or perhaps a fluffy snake, an elongated body with four stubby limbs, tapering into a tail on one end, and widening slightly at the back of a somewhat wedge-shaped head on the other end. They have horizontal stripes resembling brushstrokes regularly spaced across their back, which fade out without meeting on the small soul's underside. While a visor of bone-like material attached the creature’s head leaves if it even has eyes a question, it does give some indication of where their eyes should be. Hrafngull also has a visible overbite, with a single overgrown fang extending from either side of their upper jaw, and a pair of angular tufts above the visor give the impression of ears, often moving to make up for the otherwise lack of visible expressions.

While Hrafngull looks every bit like a hollow, their presence feels more like that of a mod-soul.
