League of Legends help / general information

Hello.

So, I've tried to played LoL again, but I have come across several issues and I would really like some help or at least some answers...

I can access my old account, but apparently I am back to level 1? Has there been a general reset or something like that?

My friends-list is empty... apparently there were some changes to usernames, but... I don't know?

I tried to find a LoL-Forum, but everytime I click on the links I only get directed to a Riot page with lots of advertisement... Is there something I am missing?

There are new Riot accounts now instead of League of Legends accounts. If your account is gone, it was probably wiped for inactivity (there were a few purges over the years).

There are no more League of Legends forums. Riot decided that a third-party site moderated by unaffiliated volunteers is preferable to having it in-house, so they've sent everyone over to reddit.
