It's about eleven in the evening. The common room has pretty much petered out save one or two diehards. Really, at this point the party is still down in the common room because Vilma hasn't come back yet. That is when ....

You see a muscular woman in heavy armor come into the room. At first she looks familiar, but then you realize it's because she has "one of those faces."

You see Vilma enter the Silver Dragon's common room.

Kris looks worried. "Hey, guys? Some bruiser just came into the bar."

Flair blinked at Kris. She was always a bit of a ditz, but she was usually more on point that this. Rather than try and sort her out, he instead approached Vilma, "Well, find anything out?"

With a nearly extinct voice, she answers.

"Someone named Melisenn runs Iris Hill while the count is out of town."

Brother Jaume grins broadly. “Excellent! Then we must surely pay her a visit tomorrow!”

Dorn looks at Vilma. "Is something wrong?"

"There was a very odd entity earlier, on the way to here. A woman with traits from being of the deep, but likely to be some form of ghost, or maybe an haunt. Nothing indicates where it was coming from, however."

"How are you at drawing?" Dorn pushes.

[silphael]

"Unless you want a stick figure with a weird rope, bad."

[lostsole31]

"So," asks Dorn of the table, wearily because of the hour, "what do we do?"

Flair pauses, looking Vilma over. "Well, I think that will depend on how Vilma is doing in the morning. If she's not back to 100%, I say we give her some time to recuperate and visit this bookstore. If all she needed was a good night's rest, we can check out this lead over at Iris Hill. Regardless, we should get some sleep."

With a cheerful grin and a hearty laugh, Brother Jaume slaps Dorn on the shoulder.
”Now my friends to bed for tomorrow we visit Iris Hill!”

Dorn will ask Vilma if he may perform a proper medical examination and see to what might be ailing her before she goes to bed.

She nods, seemingly mostly tired.

"Can't help the cause if you're not healthy, right ?"

Dorn will conduct a full medical examination on Vilma in private. He will do whatever he can (outside the knowledge of the GM, for sure) to bring his skills into play to heal such a blow to Vilma, which will include some psychiatric technique as well. After that, it is time for Vilma to go to bed.

Vilma, assuming you go right to sleep, roll a Will save, please ...

I'm also assuming that everyone else calls it as night as well.

The next day, Vilma is doing a little bit better. By that, she is only in the throes of her normal emotional crippling baggage.

On the other hand, Jens is not doing so well.

Brother Jaume will consult with Dorn to see if any special prayers are needed today for our party members. Otherwise, the typical morning routine.

Brother Dorn will do a followup examination on Vilma, and will inform him that she could use a lesser restoration to help restore the last semblance of lost sense of self.

Saint Jaume will perform his morning prayers and calisthenics before cleaning up. Once done he will pray to Erastil to aid his comrade.

Jens quietly goes through the motions of his morning routine. He focuses his mind. Opens up the collective and leaves the telepathy channel open, but Jens doesn't take the time to think deeply on his powers and merely recharges his tank as it were.

Jens is silent for much of the morning, merely giving a nod of recognition when he sees the others in the group.

WEALDAY, 5 LAMASHAN 4716 AR
(High of 40 F/ Low of 20 F ... it was freezing last night. Winds 15 mph from S. Wind chill makes it freezing. Medium Humidity.)

The party meets together, noting how cold it had gotten last night (and still is). It seems that the colder climate's autumn is finally knocking on the door with more than just rain and a slight chill.

What does the party do/ plan for today?

After bathing and breakfast, Brother Jaume addresses the group.
“The clues point to Iris Hill and this Melisenn. If we are all ready, we should check in with the Detective agency and then head there directly. I am hopeful that we shall uncover more information about our past lives when we were working for the Count!”

Flair nods upon seeing Vilma back to her regular self, though Jens seemed less than hale. "Jens, you don't look so good. How are you feeling?"

Being directly addressed by Flair, Jens will think a moment before shrugging and saying, "Well enough I suppose."

By now, you know that Kris doesn't really add to these planning talks much, bored by chatter and moved by action. Old Dorn, however, nods and says, "Yes, Sleepless first; Iris Hill second."

"Well, I don't really support making sure this investigation agency knows precisely where we are going, but given the situation here, it might be the safest idea."

Dorn shakes his head quickly as if he just tasted a potent lemon. "She's our boss. We're giving an update. What are you wanting to hide from her?"
