Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Freya
Not being able to see was a bane. Freya moved back south, threw a shatter spell well into the room to avoid catching anyone in the doorway, then retreated to safety.
Spoiler: ActionsFreya moves down three squares to stop on the square just west of Beorn.
Freya casts Shatter at a point 5 squares to the east of her. With a radius of only 10, it should catch the two monk and the spell caster without hitting allies. It's a Con save though, DC 15:
Damage: (3d8)[13] thunder damage.
Saves for half--
Monk N: (1d20)[12]
Monk S: (1d20)[7]
Caster: (1d20)[7]
Freya moves 2 squares NW and 1 N to end her turn where Gaks was before they moved.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Roswn, encouraged by Beorn, manages to land two significant hits on her opponent before retreating to open space. Likewise Zuri's thorns rip into the hob's shoulder, but it's Freya's shatter, a cacophonous explosion that temporarily shifts some of the fog (if only for a moment) that fells him. The other monk seems to brace properly against its effects, though the spellcaster isn't so lucky.
The punished monk falls to the ground, leaving a gap of straight path between the spellcaster and Beorn/Gaks, however her attempt to blast them with a similarly powerful burst of lightning as before is cut short when spell is met by counterspell, ending her attempt before it can truly start. The last remaining monk, seeing the gap, unleashes one hit against the raptor, ending its magically called life, before moving to fill the gap left by his dead ally. He lashes out at Beorn, and manages to land a lightning-charged fist, discharging the electrical power through the metallic armour and shocking the man inside.
Spoiler: Map
Another monk goes down.
Last raptor gets punched.
Lightning bolt gets counterspelled.
Beorn takes 6 lightning punch damage.

Zuri
Zuri moves southwest and uses her scroll to place a moonbeam on top of the spellcaster.
She then returns to her current position.
Spoiler: OOCInitial damage on Zuri's turn. (2d10)[13] DC 13 CON save for half.
Damage at the start of its turn (2d10)[14]
Concentration saves without bonus (1d20)[17] and (1d20)[19]
Spoiler: MoonbeamSource: Player's Handbook
2nd-level evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 120 feet
Components: V, S, M (several seeds of any moonseed plant and a piece of opalescent feldspar)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
A silvery beam of pale light shines down in a 5-foot radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range. Until the spell ends, dim light fills the cylinder.
When a creature enters the spell’s area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it is engulfed in ghostly flames that cause searing pain, and it must make a Constitution saving throw. It takes 2d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
A shapechanger makes its saving throw with disadvantage. If it fails, it also instantly reverts to its original form and can’t assume a different form until it leaves the spell’s light.
On each of your turns after you cast this spell, you can use an action to move the beam 60 feet in any direction.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 2nd.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Freya
It was nice to see again, but since the battle was not happening out here, that benefit was mostly useless at present for Freya. She hopped south a bit, pointed ahead into the fog and fired a couple rays of her Eldritch spell where she thinks the enemy spellcaster is, going by the sound of spell chanting. Freya then backed away from the conga line in case the enemy retaliates.
Spoiler: ActionsFreya moves three squares south.
Fires at disadvantage at the enemy spellcaster:
Beam A (1d20+7)[11] or (1d20+7)[24]
Damage (1d10)[6] force
Beam B (1d20+7)[14] or (1d20+7)[25]
Damage (1d10)[5] force
Freya moves back three squares north.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Roswyn and Beorn continue to lay into the last remaining monk, though the ever pervasive fog keeps most of the hits from landing. This works both ways however, when the monk tries to launch a counter assault on Beorn, but all four of their rapid fire fists fail to connect, Beorn's skilled predictive movements deflecting the charged punches before they can land. A barked order from the caster behind the monk makes him shift to the side, taking cover behind the wall and leaving Beorn and Gaks open.
Neither Zuri's overhead beam, which the caster shrugs the worst off, nor Freya's blasts which go wide, are enough to deter the caster from unleashing her spell. Gaks attempts to stop it, but the caster has clearly dedicated more power to this incarnation of the ability, and the counterspell falls short. The jolt of electricity streams out of the foggy room, piercing through Beorn and Gaks behind him. Beorn takes the worst, and the bulk of it, while Gaks shifts herself at the last minute to only receive a partial strike, though that on its own is still devastating. Her attack delivered, the caster moves out of the overhead moonbeam, putting the monk between her and the door.
Spoiler: Map
Beorn takes 40 lightning damage, which I'm pretty sure drops him to 0.
Gaks takes 20 lightning damage.
Monk's on their last legs and there's no one blocking the room's entrance anymore though because they had to move aside for the upcast lightning bolt.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Gaks gritted her teeth and pushed through the pain, unable to absorb. She could either see the caster or cast, but not both, was the issue. Then again.... burning power was chasing the woman around, at least according to what she'd seen as Wibbles. With a few squeaks as her guide, Gaks threw up a web centered on the caster, or thereabouts, there was a lot of margin for error. She then backed off, free hand pressed to a sizzling burn across one arm.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Roswyn's heart stops as Beorn falls to the ground. She quickly sticks her sword back into her scabbard, and drags the man back out of the doorframe. She didn't trust the caster in the far room to not attempt another trick which might endager the man's life further. She then dashes back through the door to swing two haymaker punches into the monk before darting back to where Beorn had just fallen.
SpoilerDrag Beorn so he ends up where Roswyn ended her last turn. (Costs me 10' of movement and puts me one square NW)

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Freya
Freya was flustered that she couldn't see in the fog. She should research some magic with Zuri and Gaks later to counter this in the future. For now, Freya cautiously moved toward the sound of heavy armor getting dragged on the floor. She reaches Beorn and gasps! Freya wastes no time and begins pulling him back as best as her noodly bard arms could pull so she can heal him!
Spoiler: ActionsFreya moves two squares SE, grabs Beorn, then pulls him West 5 feet.
Freya then uses a Dash action to pull Beorn another 5 feet West.
Beorn is now on a square that appears 2/3rds in the clear. If that's clear enough to cast Healing Word, Freya will do so as her bonus. If not, then... I guess Freya waits!
Potential Healing Word casting: healing Beorn for (2d4+4)[7] hit points.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
It's a hectic bustle to pull Beorn from the fog to safety, but between you you manage to do so and get the weary veteran back on his feet. Roswyn even finds the time to land a smack on the monk, though he's still standing after the fact, and his punches are a little less delicate, he lands three heavy shock blows, but the barbarian shrugs off the attempt to stun her once more, pushing through the wave of energy that washes over her.
As Zuri's moonbeam flies overhead and Gak's webs writhe up from the floor the spellcaster shouts angrily, her legs becoming entwined in the thick sticky substance. She opts not to attempt to escape the web, nor to attack, instead raising a hand into the moon's light directly and unleashes a wave of dispelling arcana. The moonlight fades, and Zuri finds her spell ended abruptly and saving her from, perhaps, another bout of painful light burning from above.
Spoiler: Map
Caster took the moonbeam damage but then Dispelled it. Burnin' through those slots... Still restained by the web though!
Roswyn takes 19 lightning damage from a triple punch combo.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
Zuri
Zuri moves west out of the fog and sends a thorny vine at the remaining monk, trying to pull it into our room away from the spellcaster.
"Roswyn, stay out of the doorway and finish off this monk! Beorn, please get up and help us."
Spoiler: OOC
Zuri moves 3 squares west and then uses thorn whip to try to pull the monk 2 squares left and one square up, so that it ends up just north of Gaks.
To hit: (1d20+7)[22] for (2d6)[5] damage and pulls it past Roswyn into our room.
She then casts a 2nd level Healing word on Beorn. (2d4+3)[9]
After this she uses 10' more of movement to move 2 squares north.
(I think I can pull it past Roswyn, but if not I'll just attack and not pull).

Freya backs away, hearing a door close and at this point she isn't sure what the game plan is. However, she is wary of that other door nearby and keeps an eye on it. Just in case.
Spoiler: ActionsFreya moves 2 squares north. The fog continue to limit options for now.
Can she ready an action (casting Eldritch blast) with the condition if someone opens that door to her north? If yes, Freya will do that this round.

Re: Red Hand of Doom 5e (IC)
The monk is yanked by Zuri's thorns, pulling him out of his "chokepoint" and into the fray, leaving him open for Roswyn and Beorn to cut him down from behind, ending his existence before he could muster up a challenge. The room to the north that Freya watches is silent and unmoving. Moments after Gaks shuts the door to the 'enemy' room, pervasive fog cloud dissipates - for you, at least, there's still little puffs around the edges of the door, though not enough to fill your room as it had been before.
Cut off from the eastern room, you have little idea of what the caster is now doing in there alone, but Gaks does feel her web spell come to an abrupt end, though not before the burning webs do some damage to the caster.
Spoiler: Map
With the door shut by Gaks, the fog in your room fades away, and you now have zero sight of what's going on inside the room which is why it's blacked out again.

With your plan set you open the door once more, the fog cloud immediately engulfing you completely and blocking any sight. Both doors of the other doors in the room are shut now, and there's no movement to be detected. No sounds, save for the persistent hiss of the fog swirling around you. At the very least they have not returned any of the dead to life, with all the bodies still being in place, but the spellcaster is not in the room from what you can tell.
