But onto the actual game, I don't love the wagon on Snowblaze which was mostly random votes, plus a vote because Snow's "random" vote may be a wolf move according to gac3? I doubt a wolf would be worried enough to counter wagon that obviously this early on Day 1. Snow's vote is a null read to me, but I'm keeping an eye on that wagon.

Last game's day 1 was super busy, a lot due to McGinty's posts and the reaction to them. If I remember right Day 1 was a lot of town vs town fighting and that hurt us long term, so I can't say that I'm worried about the inactivity yet. Captain Cap was very active last game so for him at least I assume he's been busy.

Keeping my vote where it is for now.

I'll probably give the wolves a few villager roles that they can safely fake-claim (i.e. roles that don't actually exist in the game) in order to prevent the game being broken by making everyone claim.

It's also worth noting that AV had a very specific reason to do this last time they did. It was in a very specific set of circumstances and it brought town to a quick victory.

The Beast role is pretty common in games, and it's a wolf who takes a townie with them when they die. Usually. Unless you're an idiot like me who wrote it poorly.

But as for why I'd claim it in the first place...that is an interesting question!

Well. If you're a beast, a villager is dead either way once you die, so to town, it makes no difference and wouldn't stop us. A dead wolf is a dead wolf is a dead wolf.
To the wolves, I'd assume it simply isn't worth it to get one of their number killed on purpose just for an additional dead villager.

Off the top of my head, and considering you seemingly actually got some roles and powers out of the others, this might make sense if this is a buffed beast that takes everyone with them they know the role of, but.... that would be so overpowered I really doubt that's in the game.

Alternatively, its something more subtle I don't understand yet since I'm too much of a novice.

That's true. And that's why, even if I am the beast, you may as well kill me tonight or tomorrow.

To the wolves, I'd assume it simply isn't worth it to get one of their number killed on purpose just for an additional dead villager.

I mean, the wolves would prefer no wolves to die, but if any wolf has to die first, they'd want it to be the Beast. It just makes the math work better in their favor.
