Thoughts on Snowblaze: They "pushed" for a bandwagon on themselves and seemed to be having a bit of fun with it. I don't recall them doing that in the last couple of games (could be wrong, and I'm too lazy right now to go check, sorry), and it seems odd for a wolf not named "Avatar Vecna" or "Xihirli" to do .

Thoughts on Duck999: The suspicion on Duck 999 is interesting , and as pointed out, Duck is acting a little out of character (or, at least, what they have claimed is their normal routine). But that may very well be due to having been called out on it last game (I know I have adapted my play style over time based on feedback I've gotten, so I'm inclined to treat it as a null read for now). Also, on the point of them being an experienced gamer, I feel that makes it less likely to change their behavior due to being a wolf. I feel like that is a mistake more likely to be made by new players.

So, yeah, I'm not really getting a strong Wolf vibe from either of them. Or, more accurately, I'm picking up null from both right now.

I'll possibly move my vote sometime nearer the end of Day 1. I think we're learn some useful intel for the Town if Snowblaze dies, but I also don't like how the wagon formed. Even if I disagree with her steadfastness to RNG choosing vote 1, it seems legit practice on her part whether she's town or wolf. I don't get a strong read from her either way.

McGinty's playstyle resonates wolfish to me. But it did last game, too, when she was Town. I also don't care for the confusion-accusation-banter between her and AvatarVecna; it could be two Town unsure how to read each other, two wolves conspiring, or a Town poking out truth... both are just too hard to read.

Not sure what to think of Duck, but I've been busy this day and not a lot of time to really think thoroughly.

CaoimhinTheCape has gotten some suspicion from folk, but so far their stuff sounds Townish to me. Could be a good wolf cover, though. I'll try to read it in more detail later.

I was only so late because I got my role PM and then didn't notice the game begin and promptly forgot for a hot second. Secondly, my point is not against day 1 or voting on day 1. It's against the heavy analysis and strong reads people often form on day one. You can have reads, but I would hesitate to call any strong.

In the past, I've always voted based on either RNG or on who hasn't shown up on day one. This game, I posted earlier, so it wasn't like I could look and see who hasn't posted when the day had hardly begun (obviously hardly depends on timezone).

In all serious though, I just don't have any strong reads or opinions right now because I don't see promoting discussion day one as a strong sign of a townie. I usuallyalways wait til we have at least a little more information. than day one to form strong opinions.

Disclaimer: Yes I know this is out of context, but since I was obviously misremembering what was said, I decided getting the quote in question was prudent.

I now see this was just an explanation of their thought process, namely that someone promoting conversation does not always equal town (fair enough). The first sentence was in response to a remark (from me) about them hopefully contributing more. And true to their word, they were much more active latter in that game (they were also high on the suspect list, which might be related ).

Your vote on me might well be random, but it's difficult to prove that it was, and if it wasn't it reflects weirdly on you. A bit more to the point, your wagon taking off in the first place, and then shedding votes just as quickly, looks pretty sus. And yeah, I know I'm not a wolf, so we're definitely not wolf buddies, but let's be real: if you saw a D1 wagon shoot up on one player, and the first person who voted for that wagon gets back into the thread, panic-moves their vote, and then upends the game with a gambit...you gotta admit, it really looks like we're wolf-buddies and I'm an idiot who is trying to recover from accidentally bussing my wolf-buddy. Like, if you lynch today, and flip wolf, either the town vig kills me in the night, or the town lynches me tomorrow.

I wouldn’t say I’m enjoying being wagoned (I’m really not.) I was just expecting to be after the last two games. And I’m taking a bit more of a relaxed, fun attitude this game. Is it because I’m town and not so worried about being lynched? Because I’ve accepted I have to die at some point and it might as well be this game? Because I’m a wolf changing my playstyle to avoid suspicion (if so, it’s clearly not working!)? Or some other reason?

That’s for me to know and you to find out!

(I can see why AV is so mysterious now, it’s actually a lot of fun!)
