The whole 'rivalry under head evil guy' schtick was given proper treatment, and Redcloak disposed of his rival in a way that I thoroughly enjoyed.
My headcanon on that is Redcloak thinking "So, you love undead, do you? Well, they love you too - with a little salsa verde for extra flavor!" as he goes on to his next task.

Redcloak & Tsukiko, because this strip totally turned me into the little kid from The Princess Bride. "Who kills Tsukiko? Does Redcloak get to kill her? Please tell me Redcloak gets to kill her!" And in the end, Mr. Burlew did not disappoint.

And while I've really enjoyed what we've seen of O-Chul and Lien, Belkar and Durkon is just so central to Belkar's entire Survivor Guilt arc (which I adore beyond words) that I have to give it the win.

The last one was a tough one! I love me some ice cream and puppies! But Roy's relationship with his dad is one of the most fleshed-out relationships in the story.

Haley & Bozzok, I guess. Neither relationship does much for me, honestly, but at least Haley & Bozzok isn't one of those icky "the girl hero gets a girl villain to fight, and calls her a slut a lot!" relationships that Haley used to have far too many of before Burlew realized how icky they were.

Roy & Eugene. It's just such a central relationship to the story, and while aspects of it do annoy me at times, I'd feel weird passing it over in favor of one as fundamentally lightweight as Nale & Thog.

Lien & Razor. Sharks are already pretty cool, and it's a fun twist on the idea of a paladin's mount that explains a lot about how Lien operates. Razor makes me sad that my current campaign is so land-based that I can't experiment with water-based mounts.

Roy & Eugene. Roy hides a lot of trauma from the Incident in his childhood under a facade of stalworth heroics, but it bubbles up to the surface when he talks to his dad. A really good dynamic, if a little painful to read sometimes when Eugene is at his most . . . well, Eugene.
