Durkon & Malack. This is a real shame because both Durkon & Malack and Oona & Redcloak are vastly superior to any of the other four choices, but since I have to pick one or the other... I guuuuueesss Durkon & Malack. It was so nice to start with.

I've been really enjoying seeing the way the collective consciousness likes and dislikes certain dynamics, but seeing the fact that we're only at the end of round one and have a lot more to go made me feel a bit like Sisyphus nearing the top of his hill. Big kudos to Understatement for keeping this going.

Roy & Celia. They're sweet together. Celia is, despite her flaws, an interesting and fun character, and it's nice seeing Roy when he isn't in Leader Mode and can genuinely enjoy himself.

So excited to be out of Round 1 after this!
Jones & Rodriguez never fail to make me laugh.
Roy & Celia. I think they're a fun relationship.
The last one's trickier for me just because I don't particularly care about either relationship. When pushed I think I'd go with Nale & Zz'dtri.

Vaarsuvius & Inkyrius. I never really had that much of an opinion on Nale, and the deterioration of V's marriage was one of the parts of OOTS that really stuck with me when I first read it. It's an interesting take on the usual nuclear family hidden back at the hero's home. Probably it's not going to last this round, but I'd like to at least give it one vote all the same.
Haley & Bandana. Fun, adds a lot to Haley's circle of friends, and a nice rogue-type team up we hadn't seen since her pages with Niu. The added layer of it somehow being a good facsimile of how it actually is to be someone recently come out and hanging onto someone who's clearly been at it a lot longer than you have is just a bonus on top. Vaarsuvius & Inkyrius. Sadly it looks like it's gonna lose, but it's a big part of one of my favourite plotlines.
