It's difficult to really point to anything. I'm town, but I can't really prove it, and I wanna stick around and be helpful, but at that point it looked like the only way to do that was to lie and claim Town Innocent. I was fully aware that I'd be caught by the time of the reveal, and presumably I would then be investigated/watched/killed by everyone and their mother.

If I die now, or in the night, I can only hope the information gained proves useful. Sorry for being overly-fancy again everybody.

Yes, the first line is *absolutely* in character, but even for AV it seems a bit crazy to effectively waste a day, potentially two, of discussion and suspect-finding as town.

The investigation isn't necessarily reliable since they could be innocent-looking scum and be scried as town anyway. And if I were a Seer I wouldn't scry AV, their alignment would become obvious soon enough without my needing to.

And scum!AV was likely to be lynched in their position at the time: it could have been a last-ditch attempt to buy themselves a day's life. I know I'd pull that kind of move as scum in that position.

That's fair, I also wasn't thinking about any Town Vig who would be more than happy to put a bullet into a lying AV anyway, where Town Docs wouldn't care to save.

This game probably has an average of two scum per non-town faction, and then survivor+serial killer. It's basically a coin flip whether any given person is town or not. But I am.

I'll also provide this warning to my fellow townies: anybody can do what I did, fake-claiming with enough time left for some votes to move. If that happens, don't reassign your votes until the narrator confirms innocence. But also don't just sit around waiting for the narrator, do reads/analysis on other players. Spend the time being helpful even if you're not moving your vote.

This is in addition to try and figure out who is actually town and who's pulling an AV.

It is literally entirely ordinary for people not to be informed when a faction is destroyed. This game is hard enough to run without people contesting, and in many cases outright breaking, almost every rule therein. I can only imagine the complaints if I were to run a game where I introduced absolute majority lynches with hammer votes, or prohibited town from nighttalking. Don't you lot have powers you should be deciding on rather than arguing?

I am trying to be an accomodating host, but the sheer number of people, whether in thread or via quicktopic - or indeed via the very PMs I asked people not to send me - asking me questions and then complaining when they get an answer they don't like is staggering. Please, enough.

Dumbly, I was hoping we would get told 'all wolves are gone' or something like that when everyone in one particular team isn't around anymore. To me, it's almost a comfort thing, as ridiculous as it sounds? But this way is more chaotic and tense, so I see why Unavenger chose it. Now excuse me while I curl up into a ball and rock back and forth muttering, "Cant Sleep, Wolves Will Eat Me".

Eh, it's a little disappointing that we don't get to know if a faction is destroyed, but it's also pretty much what I was expecting. I think it's more common that way, but we don't get enough multi-faction games here on GiTP for me to tell.
