D&D 5e Base Class Contest XI Voting Thread

This is the voting thread for the eleventh base class contest Signature Creation.

The rules are simple. Vote for your top three picks, in order. You can't vote for yourself. A number 1 vote is worth 3 points, a number 2 vote is worth 2, and a number 3 vote is worth one.

You can also suggest or vote on what you would like the next contest's theme to be. Currently in the suggestion box are Dragons, Based in Science, Heroes from Myths, Partial Casters, Hybrid Vigor, and Other Media, but don't feel as though you need to limit your suggestions to those themes; a larger pool means more options to vote on next time.

The Gunslinger was withdrawn by Leathalsandwich in this post and has not been included in voting.

The voting period will be three weeks, ending at the end of the day on July 26th. The following day I will tally these results and declare a winner. For the curious, the tiebreakers I will be using are:

1st tiebreaker is whether both participants voted. If one did not, they lose the tie.
2nd tiebreaker is total number of 1st place votes. The entry which got more 1st place votes will win the tie.
There is no 3rd tiebreaker. If both entrants voted and both entries reached their total score with the same number of 1st place votes, the tie will stand.

1. Chef- I was pleasantly surprised by how deep and playable this turned out. Interesting mechanics and variety of concepts.

2. Metahuman- I love supers. I know this probably felt like a massive undertaking but I think the end result is workable.

3. Kombatant- This felt like a spiritual sibling to a subclass I created for fighters for another contest here. A worthwhile replacement for the Monk I think.

As for next contest. Hybrid Vigor sounds interesting. I'd also like to add Divine Judgment as a theme to the pool.

Thanks to everyone for the contributions and feedback. I missed the window to provide feedback on some but most of my notes just echoed what was said by others.

The first and second for me are almost tied, and the only differences may just be my bias speaking.

1st: Kombatant - I like the idea of combos in combat along with the ribbon features, just a masterpieces.

2nd: Chef- The gourmet of this competition, I was also pleasantly surprised on the class composition.

3rd: Meta human: Supers are supers. Let’s leave it at that.

Theme: Either Dragons, or Science.

1. Kombatant: Suitable for good ol' fashioned fisticuffs or brutal martial arts, and the mechanics seem sound. I'm considering giving it a test.
2. Monster: Highly customizable, unorthodox, right up my alley.
3. Shaman: It's in a solid place, just needs some clarification on features.

Just want to say that I liked all the classes in this contest. Picking a top 3 was difficult.

My top picks for theme are Partial Casters and Hybrid Vigor.
