Default Suggestion: Variable width and height for the [IMG] tag?

Many forums allow for the [IMG] tag to be extended to [IMG width="100"] or some variant of this to have linked images displayed at a set size, which is a convenient feature to make posts with images more readable without having to manually download, resize, and upload them before linking.
It shouldn't be of any difference to the forum server, and for the browser on the users' side it's the same load as having that image displayed at full size.

I think it would be really neat to have that feature enabled here.
We are not standing on the shoulders of giants, but on very tall tower of other dwarves.

Please resize images that are too large, think of the bandwidth needed on people with slower or limited connections. Using a size property forces these connections to download the whole image for no reason.

That said, the forum already tells supported browsers to reduce the size of images to fit a a smaller window rather than overflowing off the side.
