Leonidas heard that "Aim" command, and awaits the final command.

It doesn't come. There is a sound, and finally someone shouting, "Breach! Breach! Breach! The gatehouse has been breached! All hands to western gate office!"

Leonidas, what do you do? Can you do anything even?

Leonidas will try to open the doors, first the North then South. Putting a shoulder to them.

Nope. Hard stop. Leonidas can't seem to open either door. Meanwhile, he hears screams now from what seems like both sides of him ..... on the other side of the arrow slits.

Leonidas checks Bile for life and aids him if alive. If not, he searches his body.

Bile is dead. He had rapier, longbow w/ 13 arrows, dagger, chain shirt, masterwork thieves' tools (with tie string and worn), spell component pouch (made for a cleric, not a "one size fits all"), silver holy symbol of Asmodeus, and a pouch of doggy treats.

What does Leonidas take? What does he do?

Leonidas will drop his trident and grab his own bow. He moves towards the nearest/loudest commotion at the murder holes and peers in.

With the design of murder holes being a primarily one-way affair, he doesn't really catch more than the movement of shapes. But there is one strange thing he sees, something that most people don't understand when their looking at it. For a brief second, it is almost as if a squid's tentacle was placed right up against the murder hole before it is gone.

Honestly, there is little that Leonidas can really do but wait. Finally, someone operates the winch that opens the northern door leading out of the gatehouse. No doubt curious, bored, and wanting to be done with this place, Leonidas steps out to see what is out there. To the west not only the gatehouse door, but of where the gatehouse central room would cover is a strange window-like aperture in the wall, out of which Kel now climbs. A minute later, Grumblejack squeezes through the window with some effort.

"You have 10 seconds to grab your trident, or we leave you behind like the fool you are. Go!" says Kel.

Leonidas grins, makes a short bow (can a bow be sarcastic?) and runs to grab his weapon and follow the others.

Donovan rolls his eyes in frustration. Of all the times to have misplaced one's body... But it sadly goes unnoticed.

This gaming thread is now ended as Leonidas catches up with Grumblejack, Kel, and the unconscious Ved Taruush.
