I was thinking the same. I've had plenty of coffee these last few months, which is lucky because I'm pretty sure it's all that's keeping me alive at this point.

Anyway, so far I created the backstory of my NPC villain for my solo D&D 3.5 game. Now I'm ready to create a character in a character story and I've set up my solo D&D game as well.

Oof. Dad's had trouble getting the email through to the place about the printer, but it looks like even once we've sorted out which cable, it might be two weeks before we get it through.

Good job I was planning on doing a large painting session to paint up what I'd got (and had very nearly finished everything I want, might have to see if I can get anything out of Dad's secndary upstairs) for the next little bit.

Yeah, I jokingly refer to things that mildly inconvenience me as barbarianism. For example, my car is push-to-start. But whenever I drive my wife's car, I always note that I have to put a key into the ignition, like a barbarian.

I'm a fan of the school of humor that derives amusement out of comparisons that are so patently ridiculous that they clearly have no other purpose or meaning. For example, in Peelee-world, a barbarian is an otherwise-completely normal person who happens to prefer unsweetened iced tea and uses a key to turn the ignition in their car.

It can be dangerous if not done well, I agree, but I think I manage.

ETA: A complete and obvious lack of malice helps, I think.

I've been trying to think of a way to put this, and I think the direct approach would work best. AW didnt "pwn me pretty hard". It's not an adversarial thread; I made a joke about people who drink unsweetened tea being barbarians, and AW made a joke back about people not lifting the pinky when drinking tea being barbarians. "Managing", in the instance I used it, did not mean ""pwn everyone else" or "come out on top without retort"; it meant "able to convey the joking nature of the comment".

Now please excuse my while I drink sweet tea with my pinky raised. I am, after all, double civilized.

I really don't like Mukbanger Youtubers and I have a very good reason why I dislike them so much. These type of Youtubers always stuffing themselves with junk food and most of them have horrible table manners like Nikocado Avocado. And this is coming from me a man who used to be overweight by working out and getting a six-pack. Like what in the heck am I watching this garbage anyway?!
