I always know what my solo D&D 3.5 game going to be about. It'll be a devil invasion at the city of Herlon.

Okay, that's about nine inches in the longer dimension, so diminutive.
So, just in case this isn't obvious, it is not fine o_oFeytouchedBanana eldritch disciple avatar by...me!

I dunno, it'll be less than an eighth of a pound and a half foot space...

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
Well, that half foot measure for space is the side of the square forming the creature's space; the nine-inch dimension of the Alabaman Tri'Dee-Prindid Ooze is going to exceed the six-inch dimension of a Fine creature's space....And on top of weight being a rough estimation rather than a (relatively) strict measure, I couldn't guess the weight from the image.

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
This:I'm fairly sure it's not actually a morass of semi-solid wormlike clusters with a hive mind, seeking to deliberately thwart Peelee in the name of gelatin kind....
Oh, so you're talking about the big blue thing, not the red thing that looks like it wants to be a plate on which the rest of it could be based....Okay, so this is more like a diminutive construct that creates fine oozes, like a miniature madcrafter of Thoon but with less acid spewing (I hope)?FeytouchedBanana eldritch disciple avatar by...me!

That's fair. They're the worms that form the colonies inside Halo's Hunters.

Ah. Seeing as I've never actually played a Halo game, I'll defer to your expertise. Beats considering what would happen if the first worm-related horror story I thought of incorporated a silver dragon like Peelee, at the very least....

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
I once thought that as a theft prevention feature, the car-key thing would not imply anything about barbaric customs. That was silly of me. Only a barbarian would live amongst thieves.
So that would be a swarm. Not an ooze. No gelatin kind is to be held responsible in this specific doomsday scenario.Yes, I am slightly egomaniac. Why didn't you ask?

I'm taking this occasion to shamelessely promote* Prey (2017) made by Arkane Studios which, despite its name, is a spiritual successor to System Shock** and, incidentally one of the best games I have ever played despite being criminally underrated/not as famous as it deserves.
*I am in no way affiliated with the companies that designed ordistributes the game, this isn't an actual advertisement just a fan gushing about how great that game is please don't hurt me, mods.
**Seriously, they should have called it Neuroshock or something.Forum Wisdom

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
Oof. Apparently a bad week for 3D printers everywhere.
Looks immediatley like a feed issue, but of course that can have a lot of causes (our current problem is the cable to the motor is knackered, but we've have the same issues from overheating, bad filamment and blocked-up gunked up gears before...)
This is why I always try to keep printing time to about 1-2 hours if possible by model size (i.e. only do one tank at a time, rather than several) as if it fracks up on a 4 hours print, that's a lot of wasted time).

I have recently been exposed to the Star Wars Holiday Special. Not the whole thing, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but anything that has something as beautiful as the sequence with Bea Arthur can't possibly be that bad.

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
That point the world has reached that you're run out of Internet Telly, the once-seemingly endless fanfic has finally seemed to dry up and are now having to dig into Cleaning the Room Telly over dinner. I mean, there's nothing wrong with Miraculous Ladybug, but that the point it's doing double-duty and Dinner and Cleaning The Room Telly, you're gonna be burning through it fast...

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
Oh man, the first Halo was something magical. There's two genres I typically hate, first-person shooters and horror. And there's two games which absolutely overcome those biases, Halo and Bioshock. And if I had to choose one to reign supreme, it'd be Halo. Far and away one of the best games ever made. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Lightning in a bottle, I tells ya. They were able to instill majesty and terror as well as anything I can remember.
And I won't comment on the rest for fear of the Halo fanbase.
