Good. Once you've read one heavy-handed metaphor for the end of childhood innocence you've pretty much read them all, so I'm a bit burnt on the topic. Besides, as always, if I want to read something that'll depress me, I can always read the news. Or rather, I already read the news, but I could use with a story of someone discovering what flaming hands are good for.

the cover art is done, as is my own working on it into a proper front and back and spine.

I'm so very, very excited for this. The e-reader version is actually already up, but the physical release still has at most 72 hours to finish cooking in the review process.

I am, officially, a published author, and I'm so ****ing happy right now I can't believe it.

Of course, such scenes are more important than saving the world!

Plus, from my extensive discussions with fangirls, I've discovered that heroes always want to get with the villain anyway...
