I use braces (also known as "curly brackets") to indicate sarcasm. If there are none present, I probably believe what I am saying; should it turn out to be inaccurate trivia, please tell me rather than trying to play along with an apparent joke I don't know I'm making.

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
Yeah, like I'm going to risk my cloning thinking that they, the at least 26 years younger version, should be the one with immortality instead.
Also, why on earth can Amazon deliver packages by 3pm (based on the latest time they've called to ask about leaving it with a neighbour) every day that I'm at work, but on the day when I'm at home doing nothing (because I've been waiting for this new fitbit strap before starting my run) they keep pushing the delivery time later and later until they're not saying it can't be delivered until at least 6:30? It's frustrating, that I've come back at ten to six to see packages in full view of the road multiple times, but the one time I'm actually in they're apparently too busy to bet it here that early?

So anyway. I made my first character for my solo D&D 3.5 game: K'yorl Horlbar. Here's his sheet: https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=2195596

If you two would like to keep your conversation going, do you think you'd prefer to do it over private messages?

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
Ice forms crystals and is neither organic nor artificial in origin (or at least, not inherently) and therefore is a mineral.
Lava is molten rock. Rocks are combinations of minerals. Ice (as shown above) and salt are both minerals. The ocean is made of molten ice (also known as "water") and salt.
In conclusion, the ocean is lava. Over 70% of the Earth's surface is covered in lava.

I almost chimed in wit a bit of good science, but only to discover it is just Not Typed In Blue. I guess I'll have to banhammer the two of you.
Has any one seen my jar of anti-protons or my cyclotron of positrons?

Genetic and chemical testing of samples of "yeti" hair found in the Himalayas has determined that it most likely came from a bear.
...But not any currently documented species.
So... Yetis are real. They're just bears, not ape-menI also answer to Bookmark and Shadow Claw.

Re: Anonymouswizard's Random Banter #227 and Free Cup of Tea
And honestly? Bears can stand on their hind legs. Some of them can walk bipedally. And some relatives of bears have paws that resemble human hands.
It's freaking cold in the Himilayas, and most people whose reported Yeti sightings report being lost, often at night. You're cold, you're tired, and since the yeti is often described as being territorial and aggressive(hence the "abominable snowman" nickname) like, say, a bear who found a strange creature in its territory?
So you're cold, you're tired, probably already scared becuase you're lost, and holy-crap that hairy thing is pissed. In that circumstance, it's not hard to confuse a bear for an ape-man.I also answer to Bookmark and Shadow Claw.

Do you mean this study? Two samples match polar bear DNA, one serrow. Not that polar bears in the Himalayas are any less odd than yetis...
