Gonna point out that Pathfinder offers the Kineticist class, so you could use that.

I might be interested in a PF version of this with spheres (Kineticist is nice, but IMO it's a bit of a clunky mess in practice, I think spheres could do very much the same much more easily).

Personally I feel like spell points are generous enough (and the at-will abilities flexible enough) not to really require tweaking for the purposes of a game. I certainly think spell points refreshing every turn would be excessive. Perhaps I just haven't played with someone who pushes the system, but after a few levels I don't think any spheres character I've built could come close to using all of their spell points in a turn. Most first level characters I've had would be hard pressed to do that, if they could at all.

I would be interested, I also see many ways to bend. I think Path of War would mesh well, Though the elemental flux would need to be limited to one element. Powers refresh after combat, damage scales closer to a good martial, but offers much of what you see in the show. I personally see the avatar as a template maybe +1 or+2. So everyone is 8th and you are a 6th level but you can draw on all 4 elements. Watching the show, each of the specialists are better at their bending then Anng, though each might be described as extraordinary anyways. Katara becomes a master at 13? Toff is already a master at 12 years old. The fire lord and Azzlua both are single element...yet are massive threats to him. All benders need some level of unarmed combat, and non benders can compete. Specialist exist that have bloodline powers ( feat taken at 1st level). To be accurate, we would need a system to cover rank and wealth as well ( maybe starter feats?). I agree the the "fight the fire nation" time would restrict many choices, so I prefer pre ang, or the dezil punk mainframe.

I like the template idea, and I think it stacks well with how the show present it-- Aang is literally a lower level, in that he's a kid. (Compare to Sokka, Zuko, Katara, Suki, Yue, Ty Lee, Mai, and Azula. Do not compare to Toph. Toph is just a prodigy.) One q, bc I'm a little confused-- are you interested in running this or interested as a player?

Sorry if I was unclear, I'm only interested in being a player, but I have considered running this game myself, so I posted some of my own thoughts.

Also, just to weigh in-- I'd also like Path of War, though I do think Path of War's power level is a few notches higher than Spheres of Might. At the very least, building a character with both subsystems is a noticeable buff.

cecil1994 ...I was not considering combining the two, I feel one could convey bending with maneuvers, and just limiting elemental flux to just one element. I feel mixing systems sometimes leads to broken results.
