Looking for the name of a weird indie film.

This is a movie that came out several years ago, it looks like it was made with virtually no budget and was shot pretty much entirely in a single room. It's really bizarre and incomprehensible and has parts where bad CGI shapes float around. If there even is a plot I don't remember what it was but I think someone gets murdered. Does this ring any bells?

Can you give more details? At this point it feels like you could be describing anything from the awesome Cube to the infamous The Room.

Way more low budget than either of those movies. I don't think anyone in it is an actual professional actor. It kind of went through the rounds of the internet movie critics several years ago. I think they changed sets by literally just taping white paper to the walls. There are bizarre scenes with CGI shapes floating around. It's one of those ultra pretentious weird for the sake of weird movies film students think are artistic.

No clue, but I found this list in IMDB about movies that happen in a single room (or some other enclosed space). A cursory glance I couldn't find it, but maybe it'll spark some memories.

Are you sure it wasn't the last 20-30 minutes of 2001: A Space Odyssey? The part where Bowman spends 15-20 minutes just looking at swirling colors and then he's in bed and then there's a space baby because Space Odyssey was produced back in the 1960's when certain substances were at the height of their popularity and was filmed with this consideration in mind
