No Politics Rule extends to private business?
A moment ago, I thought of a light hearted response to someone else's post, that involved pointing out that a private corporation has less than stellar business practices and has been accused of mistreatment of their employees (the joke being that Xykon would prefer them because of this). Would such comment fall under politics, though? It seems weird that a private business would be considered political, but these days, everything sort of does?
Thanks,

Re: No Politics Rule extends to private business?
I'm obviously not a mod, but nothing about that sounds political to me except, as you say, in the sense that some people see any controversial remark to be politically motivated these days.

Sheriff: This is impossible to answer in the abstract. If you see a comment you think might be problematic, please report it. If you think of a comment that might be problematic, err on the side of caution and don't post it.
Private companies are not government agencies, but do sometimes engage in political action. The accuser in your scenario is unclear; is it a government agencies? So many things could make it political or not political.Last edited by Roland St. Jude; 2020-06-26 at 07:09 PM.
