“Yes and no,” Gloriana said, smiling.
“I’ll need to write you a letter - you can come pick it up the the suite nearest the Queen’s at any time later today.”

[Valmark]

"Alright. I got only one question... You say your daughter's future is uncertain... But doesn't that mean that if we tell you that she's not doing well it'll be... Inevitable?" Eris asked tentatively, unsure of the reaction "Since future you wouldn't be able to tell us she's not well anymore of that changes"

[Xihirli]

Gloriana nodded.
“I mean that I am uncertain now,” she clarified.
“And I hope not to be.”

[Valmark]

"Oh, I understand. Well, thank you for your answers- I should go back to Leff now" Eris waved and started to walk back, stopped and returned to Gloriana.
"Since you know Infernal, you know anything about devils themselves?"

[Xihirli]

Gloriana frowned, but nodded.
“What do you want to know?”

[Valmark]

"Anything comes to mind if I say devils that talk with your voice and whose wounds appear on your own body too?"

[Xihirli]

Gloriana looked somewhat confused.
“Claiming you be you?”

[Valmark]

"Claiming to be me yes in the most irritating way possible yes"

Gloriana put a hand on Eris’s shoulder.
“That is a devil specifically assigned to collecting your soul, created for that purpose. I’m sorry.”

[Valmark]

Eris blinked.
"B-But..." she stammered "...why? I don't... I don't know much about devils, but surely they can't casually collect people's souls! What, my blood's the problem!? Some idiotic old ancestor of mine decided to f*** with a devil and I'm condemned to getting my soul used by them!?" she asked, trying not to yell failing badly at that.
"I-I... I'm sorry. My anger's not aimed at you, of course" Eris managed to add.

Gloriana nodded glumly.
“I’m sorry. It’s tough to live with this sort of thing. Tell you what. Come to my queendom once your business in Toril is concluded. By then I think that I’ll find a way to sever your connection with that devil.”

[Valmark]

Eris almost gasped at that.
"I... Thank you!" and she hugged Gloriana "That thing was tormenting me- then it actually appeared in my room, as physical as anybody else and I got scared and then you told me that and... And... Thank you" she sobbed for a handful of seconds, then pulled back rubbing her eyes.
"I'll... Come later to pick up the letter"

Gloriana nodded.
“I wish you all the luck in the world, Eris.”

[Valmark]

"Thank you. Well, see you later" Eris waved, breaking into a run for the library eager to give Leff her news.

Aldora greeted Eris at the door. “Can I help you?”

[Valmark]

"Ye- ehm, hi and yes. Is Leff here?" Eris said basically talking over her own words from how fast she was talking"

Aldora nodded, and led Eris further into the library, where Leff was going over another pile of books on crossings and years in the feywild. She apparently didn’t see Eris.

[Valmark]

Eris immediately slowed, sneaking up to Leff and putting her face near Leff's. Then she coiled her tail around the genasi's abdomen announcing her presence, keeping her arms ready to catch her.

Leff turned suddenly and kissed Eris.
“Saw you coming this time!” she shouted.

[Valmark]

Eris giggled, grabbed Leff's head with both hands and gave her a long, deep kiss humming a bit.
"I got one horrible thing, a good one and an excellent one to tell you. What order do you want them in?" she asked after she finally broke off.

[Xihirli]

Leff smiled and gave Eris an extra kiss.
“Um, that order. I guess.”

[Valmark]

Eris nodded, taking a seat.
"The horrible one is, the devil has been made to get my soul to the Hells. The good one is, Gloriana will find a way to break that link between me and the devil. The excellent one is, she told me a way to get to Blensotin- a sphinx can bring us in the future, where we can stop them and then come back to the present. Only thing is, she asked to Send to the future her when we are there to ask about how's her daughter faring" she explained eagerly.

Leff nodded.
“I can do that.” She stood up and began carrying books back.
“It’s time to research sphinxes instead. Find out what to expect. And Eris? Thanks. You figured out in like ten minutes what might have taken me all day.” She smiled and stole another kiss.

[Valmark]

Eris smiled at the kiss, following Leff with her tail not leaving her wife's abdomen.
"Chatting people up was one of my... Skills. And Gloriana is pretty willing to help anyway" she noted.

[Xihirli]

"Really? You didn't seem like you knew what to think of her last time we talked about her," Leff said, selecting some books in Ignan and Draconic. "Oh - can I have my ring back?"

[Valmark]

"Yeah well, getting told 'I'll help you save the world if you do this for me and also help save your own soul' is a good way to make me think somebody's willing to help" Eris noted, looking at the ring.
"Yeah, sorry for not using it much in the end- though it was nice having it around this finger" she took it off and handed it back to Leff.

[Xihirli]

Leff put it on her left index finger, saving the ring finger for later. "Thanks, Eris. I can't wait to get you a real one, too." She plopped the books down.
"Mind tackling one of the ones in Common?"

Eris eyed the titles.
"I'll take the riddle one for now" she said, picking it up "Let's not tell Sirthis female sphinxes pine for the male ones or he'll find a way to become one" she chuckled and began to read.

Sphinxes are Good creatures with rules they follow. In order to secure the help of an androsphinx, a feat of heroism must be performed. To secure the help of a gynosphinx, one must answer a riddle of her own devising.
Sphinxes guard the treasure hordes of the gods, and even if you kill the sphinxes you will not get the treasure they guard, as they have hidden it in the place between time. The only way to get their treasure is for them to give it.

"You'll like this- sphinxes are good and protect gods' treasures. Males want to see feats of heroism for their help while females want you to answer a riddle- Let's hope we find an androsphinx then" Eris told Leff, before moving on to Androsphinxes and the Ginosphinxes that pine for them.
