Basketball With Pokemon Physics
Is it possible to created Basketball with Pokemon Physics? You know a team of six Pokemon work together as a team to use Pokemon moves to shoot the basketball, block the basketball and etc?

Re: Basketball With Pokemon Physics
Not really. As anyone knows, Nintendo and Gamefreak are so afraid of spin-off games and titles that could ....pfffr hahaha. Okay, I can't really finish this thought. Of course one can imagine that. If Mario can have a tennis and a soccer game, and Pokemon has a battle royale and fighting game, so could they have a basketball game. There is just a problem, that the most favorite pokemon mascots are not ideally sized to play basketball.
Monsters like Pikachu are too small, Charizard's arms are too short, quadrupeds like Eevee have no arms, so I say any sport is a better choice than basketball.

Re: Basketball With Pokemon Physics
A sports game with Pokemon certainly could be done, but if you don't want to restrict it to 'creatures that could reasonably hold a ball' you'd probably wind up with something more like soccer (pretty much every kind of Pokemon can hit a ball in some way, just define the rules that you have to hit it and can't hold/carry it) or possibly Rocket League (soccer, but with allowances made for smacking the ball around with flying cars.) In the anime, at least, pretty much every Pokemon attack is depicted as imparting physical impact and is at least capable of not destroying everything it touches, so you could certainly have rules that allow for launching a ball with Flamethrowers/Water Gun/Thunderbolt/etc.

Re: Basketball With Pokemon Physics
The first problem to address would be the pure psychic pokemon.
Would psychic moves be valid?May you get EXACTLY what you wish for.

Re: Basketball With Pokemon Physics
Just pick a bunch of similarly-sized Pokemon and restrict it to those. So Charizard would be out, but Charmander would be in. As for the hands thing, maybe let them dribble with their tails? Or something like Bulbasaur could use its Vine Whip for 'hands.'
Can she do mine while she's at it?
