Huh. Well. So I gave WOdin *another* try, and this time, it was quite easy. Did some googling, moved my party around, timed things better (but in fact I goofed pretty dang bad on timing), and even not planning things very carefully, got an easy victory.

The key was probably... build gauge build gauge build gauge, then right before WOdin's turn 14 summon magicite, then start releasing hell, then when WOdin punishes slots 2+4, save slots 2+4 then actually release hell.

Trying with my lightning team next. Definitely not my #2 team, but it's next on the wheel, and I think it's plenty strong to get the job done (have a stacked Shantotto+Edge, gen 2 CSB, Cait Sith for support, Elarra for heals).

    Unbound Fate:
Machinist was kind of annoying but Sazh's new toy helped a lot.
Monk felt comparatively easy if busier due to all the counters.
Summoner I tried a couple different parties, then just kind of threw Mog at it
    Dragoon should be doable.

So ya completed the first 3?

Shnikey, it goes away soon, I should do dragoon at least...

I gave a serious try at magic lightning-weak WOdin. Lordy, just can't do it. Got him down to like 5%. I mean, I know I *can* do it... I'll give it another go soon.

Edit: finished up the job battles. Surprisingly easy given their supposed difficulty level.

Dragoon was simple. Kain and Ricard(!) are just that good. Aranea ran into the "Soul Breaks don't count" so I guess I could have put another Highwind or um, Estinien? in there I guess.

Running through Greg with Orran basically trolling him
    II- done
III- better but I still don't have enough
VIII- done, Raijin and Quistis were just enough
IX- done, Zidane isn't consistent as I'd like but Beatrix and Steiner carried.

I haven't touched FFRK in ages, but at one point I was a pretty hardcore player, esp in the early days. I still say that FFRK's soundtrack has no reason to be as fantastic as it was. It's rendition of Clash on the Big Bridge with the choir going ham is a certified bop.

I knew it was going to end eventually but it's still sad to see a game end it's life.

Kind of at that point of seeing how far my teams can go, especially since it won't matter after a few more weeks anyway. LOTR certainly seems to want to push certain characters back into the mix anyway.

Ice Dragon down. Edgar's HA2 definitely helped but mostly trying to eek as much out of Mog buffs and Stop timing so Terra recovered just in time to finish it off.

XI event is here so Arciela has arrived. I guess there's still a chance Kurasame arrives but that may be it.

The record end tickets have been mostly helpful but also bittersweet. Mostly trying to finish off Greg and such.

    Glad you’re still chugging along.

Me, haven’t touched it since the end of service announcement.

To be fair, I've long treated it as a time-filler. I reached a point a long while back where I wasn't clearing endgame content, but I was steamrolling everything else with relative ease, so I just take it out once or twice a day to burn through daily missions and whatever event pops up. It's basically background noise in my life.

I mean, I'll miss it a little, and I'll still play up until end-of-service, but yeah, it's hardly a priority for me.

It looks like (normal) events are done. I was looking forward to the Kain wardrobe but nope.

Getting close on the last book of trials but it would certainly be easier if we still get the weekly magicite.

The good news is I got Magic Ifrit down finally. There's some others that might be doable.

threw my mithril at XI with some interesting stuff and the wardrobe. VII was was more mixed. In a vacuum Rufus is interesting but well, the Crystal Dungeon will punish you for trying to set up a dark team with him. can probably gain enough to throw at a realm/element but I doubt that will add much, maybe just lenses to burn.

I don't know if I'll have time (this week did not help at all) but if I can get some of my magic teams going I might be able to scrounge up another pull, or just pitch what's left on the realm banners as a last hurrah.

If nothing else, this morning's run of trying to burn through my last record markers was interesting. I will pop back in to sum up anything else of note in the next few hours.
