the reverse arrows spell says
As protection from arrows, except that if any missile that strikes you has all its damage negated by your damage reduction (10/+1), the missile is turned back upon its target.

what does the (10/+1)means? is it 11 damage reduction?

That's the 3.0 notation for Damage Reduction - it means it's 10 points of reduction that needs a +1 or greater magic enhancement to beat. The 3.5 version of it would just be 10/Magic.

The spell was reprinted in spell compendium and does indeed specify dr 10/magic.
