Re: Portal to D&D IC - Thundercracker
The 8 surviving spiders take swarm damage (1d6)[6].
Then the swarm disperses, not enough members still have enough strength to move, let alone maintain the swarm.
SpoilerSwarm has lost half its health and would be well into the negatives for Str damage if that could go negative.

Re: Portal to D&D IC - Thundercracker
SpoilerHonestly, I'm not sure whether or not a Str 0 swarm can even make a swarm attack. It's called an attack, but it's explicitly "automatic damage." Swarms "don’t make standard melee attacks."
Unless I see rules otherwise, I'm going to leave it as the automatic damage still happens, but a paralyzed swarm isn't able to move or take actions. Not all members are paralyzed, so it can still damage, but enough are paralyzed that the mass doesn't move.
After a paralyzed swarm loses half hit points, I'll make secret rolls each round to determine if it continues to swarm or dissipates as the mobile members abandon the paralyzed ones.

Re: Portal to D&D IC - Thundercracker
Arelyn (after the obligatory easter egg check) advances her primary class slot, then assuming stats come up, adds charisma and wisdom.
She tries to recall if she knows how to acquire a patron deity, knowledge religion take 10 for 10.
She'll want to check if rogue comes up despite not adding dex, but for her third level she will pick warlock again, and select see the unseen as the invocation. She'll add another two points into knowledge geography (cross class), and one point into knowledge: religion, then wonders again if she knows how to acquire a patron deity: (1d20+1)[16]
For her level 3 feat she hopes for arcane mastery, but waits for the selection screen to come up to see what's available.TC for short

You could maybe try praying... You don't know if that would work or not though.
You might have better luck traveling to an existing temple/church/shrine/etc.
When you select "Advance Primary Class Slot," your experience total rapidly ticks down.

You apply the ability points to Wis and Cha.
Character Advancement Select a Primary Class
You have the same class options as before—Rogue, Warlock, Bard, Battle Dancer, Ninja, Psion, Scout, Sorcerer, Spellthief, and Warmage—plus a few new choices: Ardent, Factotum, Marshal, Mystic, and Sohei.Quod tibi vis fieri, facias.Spoiler: Links to my content threadsAldhaven - May 27, 2010 and ongoing.

Arelyn checks her hit points to see if she received max hit points again, then used her new invocation, and tried out her detect magic at will ability.
