i figure with 3+ moves of distance, a single run action should do it, and I can take the potential hit and heal up inside the grove while it tries to figure out where I went.

Arelyn takes the hit from the basher then withdraws into the grove, hoping it will once again be unable to follow. Assuming it can’t, she once again waits until it loses interest and starts to move away then creeps out to attack it from behind with a thrown rock.
