Having said her goodbyes, Shanna heads to the church.

On the northern side of town is a small hill with a ruined church just before the edge of the forest. It's clearly been abandoned for quite some time, and it no longer has any signs as to what religion or order built it or may have used it last.

Club in one hand, shield held up before her, Shanna makes a pass around the church, seeing if there is any sign of anything having been there recently.

You spot signs that some smaller animals occasionally take shelter here, but you don't see signs of anything larger than a songbird.

Not seeing any sign of anything more threatening than a rabbit, Shanna goes inside.

The inside is surprisingly neat. The walls are mostly free of any sort of creeping growth or major damage. The floors are covered with a thin moss, scattered tufts of grass, and a few small plants, causing the whole place to look like it's carpeted with a plush green rug with a few decorative plants.

Near where you would expect to see the altar, there is only a low stone platform with a chipped stone basin filled with water.

Shanna will walk carefully toward the basin. When she gets there, she will say a simple prayer to the gods, because it is the proper thing to do, and then scoop her hands in to drink from the water.

You say your prayer and feel a bit lighter in spirit.

You start to dip from the water, but it is frankly filthy. It's filled with algae, bird droppings, and other even less palatable things.

You may still drink from it if you wish to...

While you hesitate, you receive a series of notifications.

At the pop up about the Hearthstone, Shanna selects ‘Yes.’

She expects the same feeling she had earlier, and when it is done, Shanna decides to look around some more, not leaving anything unexplored.

The church/temple seems to have been fairly well cleaned out. The rooms are bare, and everything that isn't a permanent fixture seems to have been removed.

You head out towards the fields, where you learned that the rabbits are most commonly found.

After a bit of searching you find a hole that appears to be an entrance to a rabbit warren. Could this be the entrance to one of the "Rabbit Dungeons" your quest mentions?

Unfortunately, the hole is size Tiny, so you'll need some tools to dig it out larger if you hope to get inside.

Shanna goes off to find a farmer. The first one she finds, she asks if she can borrow a shovel.

Lilac's interface has been fritzing out, and she can't figure out why-or even how, really.

When she can see clearly and act properly, she says Yes, rabbit hunting. Sorry-I don't know what came over me.

Speaking of which, would you care for an Expeditious Retreat? That's about the only buff I can think of that might help. Alternatively, I do have CLW for if you get hurt to patch you up after.

The nearest farmer points out a tool shed where you find a pair of shovels that you can use to dig out the rabbit warren.

Shanna will retrieve the pair of shovels and return to the warren to start digging.

With the aid of the shovels, it takes only about an hour to excavate the hole large enough to uncover a sizable room dug out of compacted soil.

The room is about 10 feet wide by 15 feet long.

On the far side of the room are (1d3+2)[4] rabbits glaring at you angrily.

As you reach the entrance to the room, you receive several notifications.

You have entered a Transient Dungeon!
These dungeons spawn randomly throughout the Realm and are completed when the Dungeon Boss is defeated. Once completed, a Transient Dungeon will cease to exist, and all Players and NPCs not spawned by the dungeon will be automatically transported back to the dungeon entrance. Uncollected items and resources will be permanently lost.

Lilac begins to sing, the same melody that came before during the fight with the spiders.

The remaining three rabbits attack, provoking AoOs when they enter your space. The last rabbit bypasses Shanna entirely to attack the bard.

Ack! Lilac lets out as she's attacked, though the rabbit's strike fails to pierce her mithral form. She quickly resumes her song, the minor interruption not enough to do away with her magic.
